It’s slim pickin’s today, folks! I just haven’t been ordering much, and what I have ordered takes an age to come in. So I’ll share the try-ons that I have, and some of my sale picks for the weekend — mostly things I’ve already featured, but a few things I have on order as well.
SIZING NOTES: I’m 5’5″ and 135 pounds, with a slight hourglass shape. I typically wear a 6/28 in pants/jeans, a small in tops, a small or 6 in dresses/jumpsuits, and size 8 shoe.
A FEW NEW TRY- ONS
J.Crew Saturday sneakers with leopard calf hair detail $98 (or $59.97 at Nordstrom Rack)
I ordered these sneakers from J.Crew a couple of months ago. They were backordered, but I loved them and decided they were worth the wait. (This was before I got my P448 pair with the leopard detail.)
Well, they finally arrived this week, and I absolutely love them! They have the look of a Stan Smith, but the leopard calf hair trim and contrasting black laces really take them up a notch.
Plus, they’re leather inside and out, so they look and feel far more luxe than Adidas. They’re not quite on par with my Vince sneakers, as far as the quality of the leather, but they’re a great value for the price. I also found a few sizes on sale at Nordstrom Rack!
I ordered the 8 and the 8.5, and the 8 fit perfectly, so they’re true to size, or size down if in between.

Eileen Fisher Viv Wedge Sandals $210 $105 (50% off)
These sandals finally came in, and I love them! These are supportive and comfortable enough to walk miles in, but also stylish to complement your favorite casual outfits.
I would say they run TTS; my usual 8 fits length-wise, but they’re a little loose on my feet. I think those of you with higher arches and wider feet will like these a lot!

LOFT Rib Striped Wrap $69.50 (40% OFF + EXTRA 15% OFF!)
This rib stripe wrap is such a nice outfit completer piece! It’s soft and drapey, and the subtle texture to the knit is such a nice detail.
I love the dolman half sleeves and high side slits.
The fabric is 60% acrylic, 40% nylon, and it’s machine washable. It also comes in black and olive green. I’m wearing the XS/S, for reference.

Weekend Sale Picks
The Sanctuary Tiffany Top (pictured above) is 55% off at Nordstrom, but very low inventory. I also found it at Zappo’s for 10% off. Hey, every little bit helps!
It’s equally cute with blue and white denim, and it runs TTS; I have the small.

LOFT is doing 40% off + an extra 15% that with code XOXO, and this popular knit button down top was restocked.
This top also comes in a pretty silvery grey and a sage green, and it’s available in petite and plus sizes! I’m wearing the regular size small.
Here’s how it looks untucked… it kind of cuts me in half when worn this way, but since the outfit is pretty much monochromatic, and the black shoes bookend the look, I don’t think it matters so much.
And this reader-favorite LOFT Chevron Stripe V-Neck Top is back in stock in all sizes.
This top is so flattering and easy to wear; I love it and was so happy to see it restocked! It also comes in a pretty red that a lot of readers like.
Those who have tried it report that it runs big; I’m in my usual small, but if in doubt, size down.
My AG The Prima Ankle Cigarette Jeans in the deep Blue Above are 55% off at Nordstrom and fully stocked! That brings them down to $89.
This deep blue wash is really pretty for a change. These have a 9″ rise, and they’re cut with a looser fit around the ankles than typical skinnies.

Here’s how I styled them for a dressier look with this LOFT Floral V-Neck Mixed Media Shell. It’s also marked down, but only a few sizes are left.

That linen moto is included in the sale, and I love these earrings too. They’re lightweight and comfortable, but they really pack a punch — I especially like how they show in my dark hair.
My woven straw clutch has been restocked as well; I know a few of you had trouble getting this. And this embossed cuff bracelet is a pretty one!

Nordstrom has so many markdowns, I don’t know where to start.
My Rag & Bone Cate skinnies are 40% off. I really like the 27″ inseam on these; that’s hard to find.
These Kut from the Kloth crop straight jeans are back, and 40% off.
My favorite denim jacket is now 50% off. I take a small in this one.

I’ve had this Raffia Tote for a couple years and I love it. The best part is, it packs up flat, so it’s great for travel. It was my go-to beach bag for pool and beach. It’s 50% off right now!
J.Crew is doing 40 – 60% off dressy-ish styles this weekend, and the J.Crew vintage cotton v-neck t-shirt that I’m wearing here is 42% off, which brings it down to $17. (also wearing: ikat shorts – sold out – and Maui Jim Mele sunnies)
