25% off Premium Denim at the Bloomies Friends & Family Sale

Happy Friday, friends! Bloomingdale’s just launched their Friends & Family Sale, where you can take 25% off items labeled “FRIENDS & FAMILY: 25% OFF DISCOUNT APPLIED IN BAG.” The discount is automatically applied in bag on qualified items, and the sale runs through April 3, 2022, but sizes usually go fast.

Also, Saks is doing a similar sale, and a lot of these items overlap because they’re owned by the same parent company. And then Nordstrom is price matching!

In my opinion, the best deals in this sale are on premium denim. Save big on brands like Paige, AG Jeans, Good American, DL1961, and Frame. Even Mother Denim is included! I’ll show you the ones I have that I recommend, and then I created an easy shopping widget at the end of the post, with a caption detailing why I recommend each item.

If in doubt, I always recommend ordering two sizes. Bloomingdale’s has free returns for 90 days, so that will give you ample time to return the one  that doesn’t work out without risking it being out of stock if you go back to order a different size later.

My Favorite Denim at Bloomingdale’s

SIZING NOTES: I’m 5’5″ and I usually take a 6 or 28 in jeans, but lately I’ve needed to size up to 29 in some styles. I’ll try to guide you where I can, but I’ll say it again, if in doubt, always order both sizes and return the one that doesn’t work out.

  1. I had to smile at this post. When you mentioned the DL1961 jeans, I think that’s the one years ago that were your go to skinny jeans. I didn’t think you’d ever give them up. We all thought they were the best thing ever!

  2. Nice post, thank you! Do you think the AG Mari or Frame Le High Straight-if you had to choose one? Thanks!

  3. Great post! I appreciate so much the pictures of you in the items you already own, as well as the extensive shopping widgets, also with pictures. I’m getting frustrated with some bloggers I follow who are increasingly showing just links and the reader has to click on every one to see what the product looks like. All this to say the extra effort you go to for us shows and I appreciate it!

  4. Yay, the day I’ve been waiting for! I promptly purchased the Mother Hustler in Au Revoire. They looked great on MrsCoCoWyse’s Instagram account. Looking forward to getting them!

    1. Jo-Lynne, could you tell me about the rose colored jacket you were wearing with the Paige white jeans ? I’m looking for something like that. Thanks so much !

    1. Well, darn. They were earlier. I even had them in my cart and they came down to the sale price. I wasn’t able to check out at the time – some weird glitch – and when I went back to try again a few hours later, they weren’t in my cart and they aren’t listed as part of the sale on the website now.

  5. Thanks Jo-Lynne! Ordered the ecru DL1961 jeans and also noticed a “free” gift with Estee Lauder purchase, so added that on as well!

  6. You sure are good at what you do. This post is so details and informative and I don’t know how you last minute just whipped it up. 🙂 Great job. I wish I could order jeans and get a good fi,t but I’d not have to only order 2 sizes, but probably regular and petite. I just need to get to our big city malls and try on soon. I wish more jeans came in “shorts.” They work better than petite. Have a great weekend.

    1. If you saw how much stuff I order and return, lol…. just order a bunch. It’s easier to try on at home b/c you can see how they work with the shoes and tops in your closet. Also you can wear them around the house for a bit and see if they loosen up or not.

  7. Any petite length white jeans in the sale that you’d recommend? I’d like to try cropped…but would need them to be petite

  8. Hi Jo-Lynne! I recently bought the Mother Insiders with the crop step chewed hem after kicking myself for not having them last summer and fall. I’m a couple inches shorter than you, so I need to shorten them. I’ve cut many pairs of premium denim, but I’m unsure what to do about the step hem. I guess I’m asking what you would do if you were me; attempt to shorten and keep the step hem? Or shorten to a straight hem?

      1. I can definitely leave them as is, they still work. I typically like to have a little more ankle showing,mI feel it makes me look *a little* taller. 😬 Thank you for pointing me to Linzi, I wasn’t familiar with her! Thanks for your input!
