28 Days of Winter Outfits: Day 5

I’m getting this one up late in the day, although I’ve been dressed since 10AM. I had a training appointment this morning, but I came right home and got showered and fixed up in street clothes. Typically I would just sit down at my computer and not get up until the kids come home from school, at which point, it would seem useless to shower and change into street clothes. I was really proud of myself for making myself a priority today.

28 Days of Winter Outfits: Day 5

The weather wasn’t cooperating so I had to take an indoor shot. The outfit is nothing new, but it’s perfect for a day working from home.

The cashmere hoodie is from Ann Taylor, and XS is the only size that’s left. I wore my usual lilac-colored tank underneath, but I like how the model has a wine colored-tank under the grey sweater. I want to try that. The Mavi jeans came in a Stitch Fix last summer, and the boots are old.

I felt like silver accessories were the way to go, so I chose my engravable necklace and the Blessed bangle from Stella & Dot along with my circles earrings from Studio Jewel.

I’ll be going out of town this weekend, so posting might be a bit sporadic. I’ll update you  when I get back!

  1. Ok, so on any given month how much of your Stitchfix do you keep? Decent prices ? I think I would like the idea but am afraid I would want it all or want nothing !

    1. I usually keep 2 pieces, on average. They don’t always hit the mark. Some months there is nothing I want to keep, and some months I like it all. But usually only 1 or 2 are MUST HAVE pieces. You can set your price point, which is nice.

  2. You say “I like how the model has on a wine colored tank”.
    What model?
Was this look fashioned after another outfit? I’d love to see it!
    Thanks for being an inspiration.
