4 Ways to Wear a Red Infinity Scarf

One of the workhorses in my capsule wardrobe is this fringe-trim infinity scarf. It has a way of taking a plain outfit from blah to wow in about three seconds.

I thought it would be fun to do some posts on how I am making my small wardrobe go further. Accessories are definitely key to keeping it interesting. Here are four outfits I’ve styled with this fringe trim infinity scarf. Unfortunately it is sold out again in the oxblood, but I will link to some other red infinity scarves at the end of this post.

I wore it one day with my oatmeal sweater, skinny jeans, and Converse. I love this look because it’s casual but put together. You can see more pictures of this outfit in this post: Oatmeal Sweater with a Red Fringe Scarf.

I also threw my red fringe scarf on with my black marled cardigan and a long-sleeve black turtleneck and black jeans. Yes, I’m wearing slippers in this picture! I spent that day at home, but this outfit would be cute with my flat black OTK boots!

Another day I wore my red scarf with a chambray shirt and black jeans and those Converse again! Funny how I ended up wearing it twice with my Converse! I think that’s because of the red stripe in the Converse. I love how the red scarf pulls that small detail from the shoes and makes the whole outfit more cohesive. You can see more pictures of this outfit in this post: Chambray, Black & Red.

I really love how the scarf looked on my grey sweater dress. I hope to do a “real” photo shoot with this outfit eventually.

Here are some more red infinity scarves, if you’re in the market for one. The fringe is fun, but it doesn’t have to have fringe to be cute. Click on the images to shop.

  1. Welcome home! I’m sure you had a great time together & can’t wait to see what you both “cooked up” for us! I’m in love with that infinity fringe scarf you styled. I found mine at a Kohls, not sure if its exactly the same color, but it looked close enough for me. I’ve been able to replicate the color of the top, but not the same brand, due to my shape. I already had an oatmeal top I absolutely love from the JM Sweater collection ay Macy’s. My has some nice button detail on the sleeve. My jeans are slim leg, as my thighs are too heavy for skinny jeans! I tried on the Chuck Taylor’s at DSW Shoes, and they are too narrow for my semi-wide foot. ???? The denim shirt you styled with that same scarf, I was able to copy as well! I found mine at Kohls, and again it’s a little darker in color but close enough! Now that I’ve seen that marled cardigan, I’m thinking hmmmmm, I like that look too! Have a wonderful day & stay warm!

  2. I just bought a red infinity scarf and have not worn it yet due to the unseasonably warm winter we have had so far. Thanks for your ideas !!!!

  8. I still can’t find the scarf in red, only green or camel. Help! If anyone sees it online or in a store, I’ll pay you cost plus shipping. I seem to be missing the windows when it’s back in stock. Thanks much!

          1. SCORE!!! I spoke with the very helpful BP asst manager Alle and she found one in RED and is sending it to me. Turns out she’s from the Seattle area where I grew up, and went to the same college WSU!! Small world.

Thanks for the tip. The phone is 615-850-6700 if anyone wants to order the red.

  9. Thanks for showing the different ways to style this. I always like to see how one item can be used various ways, because I’m not always good at coming up with ideas myself. But I can copy. 😉

  10. I love infinity scarves. They take the guesswork out of styling a scarf. I love that chambray shirt from Loft, and am so glad I got one when you first showed it on your blog.
