Adore Your Wardrobe

I wanted to pop in and tell you that Kelly has just announced that the next session of Adore Your Wardrobe starts on January 31, 2018!!!

For the uninitiated, this is an online course designed by Kelly Snyder to help you demystify fashion with the principles of math and science. Kelly teaches the science and math, formulas and rules behind creating an amazing looking silhouette on your individual body.

Adore Your Wardrobe made SUCH a difference in how I view my body and how I dress myself. Don’t believe me? Look back through my blog archives, and see the outfits I was wearing 3 and 4 and 5 years ago. YIKES!!!

I don’t always get it perfect now, but I’ve come a long way, and AYW was a big part of that evolution.

In this course, you start by determining your unique body type, and then you learn what styles and colors look best on you and how to put outfits together that create proper balance and proportion.

I’ve had people ask me to address these topics on the blog, and I try to slip some tips in here and there, but there is no substitute for the personal attention you get in a course like this. Plus I’d never want to compromise Kelly’s course by sharing information here that is for paid members only.

I do always try to be mindful of that, but honestly, there is so much about this course that is personalized to your individual body type that it’s impossible to convey even a fraction of it in blog post format. You really need to take the course to know how to apply the information.

In fact, it’s not just a course; it’s actually a community. When you register for Adore Your Wardrobe, you will be added to a private Facebook Group where Kelly and her team members offer you personal advice to make sure you get the most out of the course, and you also end up bonding with other course members and learning from each other.

You may be wondering if this course is for you. Basically, this course is for anyone who isn’t 100% confident about putting outfits together and dressing her unique body.

If you feel like you have a closet full of clothes and nothing to wear, this course is for you.

If you struggle to put outfits together, this course is for you.

If you love shopping and fashion but get discouraged when your clothes don’t look as good on you as you expected them to, this course is for you.

If you hate shopping and need some trusted formulas to make getting dressed every day and looking good a breeze, this course is for you.

No matter where you are in your fashion journey, this course will transform the way you think about clothes and how you put outfits together.

I also took Course #2, which builds on Course #1, and it was amazing as well. In fact, I often say that’s when everything really came together for me. So if you’re a Course #1 graduate who is debating about Course #2, I highly recommend going for it.

If you’ve already taken the course, feel free to chime in and let us know how you liked it.

  1. I took the class and it helped me understand how to dress for my body type. Would you please share what body type you have, Jo-Lynne? Thanks!

  2. I learned about Adore Your Wardrobe through your blog.  I was skeptical after having tried some other courses but can now say it is the best money you can spend on your wardrobe! Actually, it is the only course that has made a real, long-lasting, positive change in my wardrobe and how I feel in my clothes. I have saved a ton of money by no longer purchasing clothes that just sit in my closet barely worn.  I have taken course 1 and course 2 now and can’t recommend them enough.  Even sitting here at Starbucks I am feeling so great in what I am wearing and how I am presenting myself to the world.    Thank you for getting the word out there.  I am now looking forward to a happy 2018 feeling empowered and not worried about getting dressed every day. 😉

  3. What is the cost of course 2?

Do you get a discount if you have taken course 1?

What’s covered in the second course?

    Happy Holidays!

    Tessa

    1. Hi Tessa. I don’t know the cost of Course 2, and I’m not sure when the next one starts. After you take Course 1, Kelly invites you to the next session of Course 2. I also can’t speak to whether or not there will be a discount, but this code is for $20 of Course 1 only. 🙂

The second course covers dresses, blazers, shorts and skirts, and there is a color lesson that is really eye opening. Hope that helps!

  4. I have taken course 1 and 2 after finding out about AYW thru Jo-Lynne.  I really enjoyed the class.  I learned a lot since I was basically fashion ignorant! 🙂  I do honestly feel AYW is experiencing a lot of growing pains right now which was frustrating for me as a student.  Within the Facebook community you will get feedback on outfits you post from AYW body type experts and I feel there are too few and they lack consistency with each person’s body type.  Be ready for any of these “experts” to tell you to “donate” a piece of clothing.  But I would urge you NOT to discard ANY clothes until you have taken BOTH courses.  (Find a place to store them until you finish the courses and then revisit each piece after learning what works for you and how you can make an item work for you if you love it!).  The very best thing that happened from my C1 & C2 experience is the friends I made who I valued their advice and feedback on outfits so much!  I now know how to dress my body type (I’m a straight) appropriately and it is easier to shop.  I do have a closet of clothes I love to wear!

  5. Thanks for you information!

A little disappointing to hear you think AYW is experiencing growing pains!

But, overall you seem to think it was as good experience?

Hope I haven’t wasted my money.

    Thanks,
    Tessa

  6. After following Kelly for the past year thru her Facebook live videos, I took the plunge and signed up!  Can’t wait for it to start!

  7. Hi Jo-Lynne,

I follow your blog and am currently taking the Signature Adore Your Wardrobe course. (Loving it!!) Do you mind me asking what body type and waist you are (?) It would really help me as I process your suggestions and then plan my own outfits/purchases.

    Thanks so much!
    Lisa
