Another Giveaway!

No, this is not going to become a giveaway/review blog.  But I love lotions and potions so when I got the opportunity to review Skin MD Natural™, I took it.  Then I got up the nerve to ask for a second sample to give away, and they sent it to me!!

So first, for the review.  Following is is a blurb from the Skin MD website.

This is an entirely new concept in skin care requiring a new
classification: "Shielding Lotion". A shielding lotion keeps
moisture-robbing irritants away from the skin while the proprietary
"super" humectants hydrate the skin throughout the day.

I typically use Curel lotion, and what I’ve been doing is putting Skin MD Natural™ on one arm and one leg and Curel on the other arm and leg.  I’ve been doing this for a few days, as they say that the Skin MD Natural™ has a cumulative effect after a few days of regular application.  I could give you a better opinion if it were winter time because I am prone to extremely dry skin in the winter.

The main difference I notice between the two lotions is the immediate feeling it leaves on my skin.  The Curel leaves my skin feeling sticky where the Skin MD Natural™ feels silky smooth.  I haven’t applied any today, and my right arm and leg (the Skin MD Natural™ side) still feels smoother and silkier than the left arm and leg.  I honestly can’t tell any difference in the healing qualities, as my skin isn’t particularly dry this time of year.

At $25 for a 4-ounce bottle, it’s not cheap, so I can’t say that I will be buying some anytime soon, but I do like the feeling it leaves on my skin.  I’m anxious to see how it works this winter.  There is an unconditional money-back guarantee, so they are pretty confident that you will love their product.

Now for the giveaway part!  If you would like to win a free 4-ounce bottle of Skin MD Natural™, all you have to do is leave me a single comment on this post.  I can only mail to addresses in the U.S. and Canada, and you do not have to have a blog to enter.  If you want to mention this giveaway on your blog, feel free, but that is not a requirement.

Comments will close at noon on Friday, and I will use a random number generator to select the winner on Friday afternoon!  I will announce the winner on Saturday morning.  Good luck!!

And now for the obligatory disclaimer: I do not receive any pay for reviewing products on my blog.  The only benefit I get is a free product.  And I promise to always be honest with my opinions.

  1. My elbows are ashy! My heels are cracked! Count me in! Oh, and by the way, good for you not doing paid reviews. I’m glad to hear it.

  2. I seem to get very dry skin in the winter also. I would love to be able to try this lotions. I usually use aveeno. Right now I am using bath and body works lavender vanilla lotion. Smells wonderful but not sure it would do the job in the winter.

  3. Add me to the icky, dry skin list. And I have this sick obsession with touching smooth skin. It drives people crazy because I’ll just start rubbing their arms up and down. Freak? Maybe…

  4. That sounds like great stuff! I always have super dry skin in the winter too so I’m keeping my fingers crossed to win some! Good luck everyone!

  5. I haven’t tried anything new in awhile cuz I’m such a Bath & Body fan. It will be fun to try something different so hope I win:)

  6. I am constantly trying new lotions. I rarely buy the same one twice in a row because I always find another to try. So, pick me! pick me! 🙂

  7. My daughter and I both suffer from dry skin and are always looking for a ‘better’ product. We would love to give this a try. Thanks for the opportunity.

I would love to do reviews like this. How did you get hooked up with that?

  8. Oh- please enter me! My 8 year old struggles with terrible eczema and we are always on the lookout for the perfect lotion:-)

  9. Thanks for offering a sample of the lotion. I love to try new products to see if they work on me before investing in them. THANKS:)

  10. My pitiful hands need something! They are like sandpaper. It is disturbing to fold socks and underwear because my hands catch on them like velcro! Please enter me!

  11. Yikes I thought I was already signed up here and then when I double checked I couldn’t find my name….whew….just made it I would say! I have sandpaper skin hands I think thats because I wash them a million times a day. I frequently take care of my grandchildren and change diapers, plus colds they will have. So washing my hands drys them out so much. I frequently clinch my hands up, so no one can see or feel them.
