BarkBox: A Subscription Service for Your Favorite Pooch

I first heard of subscription box services for beauty products, or at least I think that’s how they started? Then, a bunch of subscription services for women’s clothing popped up. Next, men’s clothing joined the ranks.

The next thing I knew, there were subscription box services for crafts, fitness gear, wine, beer, meat, cheese… These days you can find a subscription box service for just about anything and anyone, so why not one for your favorite pooch?

That’s right, there is now a subscription service for our canine friends, with a monthly delivery of unique toys and all-natural treats and chews tailored to your dog.

When BarkBox reached out about partnering on a post, I couldn’t email them back fast enough.

If you’re a regular around here, you know how much we adore our little rescue pup, and we love to spoil her with toys and treats, so BarkBox couldn’t be more perfect for her.

Each month’s BarkBox is packed with two unique toys, two full bags of all-natural treats, and one delicious chew.

Also, each box has a different theme, and no two BarkBoxes are ever the same. This month’s theme was Peanuts. Look how cute!

Savannah went crazy for this box when we first opened it with her. While we knew she would enjoy the new toys, we had no idea how crazy she would get when we opened the box.

And it wasn’t just the smell of treats, although she loves those too, but she immediately grabbed onto one of the toys and started playing.

She still enjoys them, too. I sometimes catch her beside her toy basket, begging for something inside, and when we dump it out, she goes right for that bright yellow Woodstock.

Here’s how BarkBox works: First, you tell them a little about your dog.

Then they curate a box with toys designed for their size and play style and treats catered to their preferences.

The result is a one-of-a-kind box for your one-of-a-kind dog.

Each BarkBox is a $40 value for just $22/month (for the 12-month plan; they also offer one and six-month plans) and free shipping in the contiguous United States. If you live in outlying US residences or Canada, there is an $8 monthly shipping fee.

Oh, and their treats and chews are all-natural, available in allergy-friendly options, and never made with wheat, soy, or corn.

CLICK HERE to get the exclusive Peanuts-themed BarkBox, plus a free extra toy every month! (The Christmas shipping cut-off date is 12/20/20.)

And if there are any BarkBox users out there, let us know how you like it!

  1. We love Bark Box but not as much as our dogs. How are you and the allergies coinciding with one another? Happy holidays to you and your family.

    1. I’m so glad you use BarkBox and love it! I don’t have allergies to Savannah, thankfully. Ozzy was a different story, unfortunately. But he’s happy in his new home, and we get to visit.

  2. We LOVE Bark Box!!! I started subscribing in March right when the pandemic lockdown began. My dogs actually recognize the box and go crazy to help me open it. December’s box looked just like yours with the Woodstock and Snoopy toys along with a Santa cookie jar that I wrapped up for a Christmas present for the dogs to open ❤️💚🐕🐕
I would highly recommend to anyone who hasn’t used this monthly subscription service yet! Use Jo-Lynne’s link! 😊

  3. Such cute pictures of your daughter and dog.  I love Peanuts theme things. How cute.  Great gift idea to give someone who LOVES their dog.

  4. My sister gets bark box for her boxer! They both love it. It would be neat if there was something similar for a cat (we have a cat).
