Colorful Flats for Spring Under $50 #FashionFriday

colorful ballet flats under $50

Everyone is commenting on my colorful flats in my Daily Mom Style post this week! Which inspired this post. I love wearing colorful flats in the spring and summer. They’re such an easy way to brighten up an outfit, and they don’t have to break the bank. I have finicky feet and often have to pay higher prices for shoes that are comfortable, but I can get away with inexpensive flats without too much trouble. YAY!

Here are my top picks for the season to whet your appetite — all for $50 or less!

  1. Perfect! Casually I live in flip flops during warm weather but proessionally I love 4″ pumps. Sadly a few knee surgeries put my shoe wardrobe on ice so I’m in the market for lots of flats! Thanks for the great shopping tips!

    1. I love flip flops and I definitely wear my fair share of them too! But I’m with ya on the pumps, I just can’t do them for long stretches of time anymore. Plus I often feel silly in heels; my life is so casual. So cute flats, it is!

  2. I live in flip flops in the summer but would love to try some of the colorful flats this spring. Now you should do a post on how you choose shoes to go with what tops lol because I love the orange ones but have no idea what to pair them with 😉

    1. I’m the same way as Kristi, I live in flips in the summer (or barefoot if I can!) but in the spring I am all over the ballet flats. These are some great picks!! 🙂

  3. As a person who can’t wear flats, what other spring shoe styles can I take advantage of? I need something comfy yet stylish to wear to the Type A conference in April.

    Thanks!

  4. I love flats but colored flats are even cuter! I’m looking forward to my upcoming Spring shopping spree to pick up a pair (or 2 or 3!!!)

  5. I’ve found that it’s not too hard to find inexpensive, fun flats in thrift stores or on deal sites like Totsy, too! When they cost $10 or less I don’t feel too bad about not wearing them as often. I have a leopard pair, turquoise polka dots, and some Nine West orange snakeskin-y ones (the latter cost $7 at a thrift store, I think!) that I get a lot of compliments on.
