Creating A Monster

This morning my 5-year-old daughter came downstairs with an outfit that she wanted to wear to school.  I complimented her on her choice of socks and noted that they matched her outfit nicely.

To which she replied, "But do they match the style?"

I’m either doing something right, or something very wrong.
