These best part is that if you already have glue on hand, these candy jars cost just $2. That’s how much I spent on the candlestick and bowl at my local dollar store.

What you need:

  • Glass candlestick holder
  • Glass bowl
  • Strong glue suitable for glass such as E6000

These candy bowls are so easy to make. It’s just one simple step.

Glue the candlestick to the base of the bowl using your glue and set aside to dry.

  1. Cute idea! I’ve been doing candy bars at parties for my kids (they are teenagers) and have been using vintage bowls that look similar to this. I try to use different heights of bowls to give it a nice look and coordinate the candy for the season or event. Last year my daughter’s 13th birthday “theme” colors were hot pink, purple and black, so the candy looked very cool in those colors. She designed a little sign that we put in a cute picture frame to add to the overall look.
