21 Fall Handbags Under $100

UPDATED for FALL 2017

For something a little different, I thought I’d do a roundup of handbags under $100. There are so many fun styles out right now. I’m really enjoying the current trends — totes, cross bodies, satchels, and bucket bags are all trending this season.

All of these bags are under $100 so super affordable. I hope you like it! Definitely chime in and let me know if you order any of them, or which styles you like.

  1. All these bags are fabulous and reasonable!! Enjoy the rest of your vacation! We just flew back from Franklin Lakes, NJ from our sons wedding! One day we will find the perfect size luggage and carry on bags!! I’m getting closer!!Now trying to get over the hectic wedding planning and celebration! Back to reality!! Enjoy the sightseeing and stay cool!

  2. Thanks for the handbag suggestions. I LOVE handbags! I bought the pink Minkoff Avery and while I love the color (I own nothing like it so it’s a great pop of color with my blues and greens) it’s a tiny bit small. I’m not a big handbag girl, but the shape makes it difficult to put my small wallet, iPhone and reading glasses in without changing the shape of the bag. I don’t like it when I have a bag with great lines that are ruined by too many things stuffed inside. The little zip pocket on the outside is really too small for an iPhone– only good for small keys. Also, if you’re 5’8″ or taller, the strap is a little too short for comfortable cross-body wear. I’m only 5’8″, but this has always been an issue for me. I solved the problem by making a little “extender” with a chain from a different bag– I use it on several bags. No one even notices it’s an add-on!

    1. I agree, the Avery is quite small. I have it in the merlot color and I had to switch to a smaller wallet when I wanted to use it. (I also don’t like to stuff my purse.) It’s a great under $100 buy, though. 🙂 Love the extender idea!

  3. Good morning!! I had ordered the Sole Society ‘Ravin’ Tote earlier when you had posted it in one of your previous posts – it comes in on Friday, can’t wait – I got the light beigey color which seems to be sold out now (lucky me! It was the exact color I wanted). I’m really liking the Lucky Brand genuine leather bag too, but I’m only budgeted for one purse purchase 🙁 ……I think I’ll live though! Ha!
Thanks for this post – very helpful!

  4. I’m sooooooo jealous of you getting to spend 2 weeks in Maine! The Jordan Pond House was a wonderful stop after hiking in the morning (get there early!), and the lobster stew and popovers are to die for! Please have several lobster rolls for me on your trip (pics are welcome!). Thank you for sharing your vacation with us!

  5. Just thought I’d mention – since this post is about handbags – Rebecca Minkoff is having a sale. Some good buys there too, even if not under $100.

    Cheers!

  6. Absolutely loved this post !! Being a veteran middle school teacher I strive so hard to continue to be “trendy ” but classic. What a great idea to post affordable buys !.. Thank you!

  7. Hi. I’m about a year behind here. I can’t seem t view the photos of the bags. I also see there is an updated blog for 2017 but I can’t find that either. Help! thanks!
