Fall Try-On Haul: Talbots, Amazon, LOFT, Everlane & Nordstrom

Good morning! Today I’ve got my usual Saturday Try-On Haul for you, with styles from Talbots, Amazon, LOFT, Everlane & Nordstrom.

You better sit down for this one. I have so much to share that I had to save some for next week.

SIZING NOTES: I’m 5’5″ and 135 pounds, with a slight hourglass shape. Unless I say otherwise, I’m wearing a 6/28 in pants/jeans, a small in tops, a 6 in dresses/jumpsuits, and size 8 shoe.

Fall Try-On Haul

Let’s start with a few items from LOFT. I’ve missed sharing LOFT with you, but their inventory has been really strange lately. I’m assuming it’s due to their bankruptcy restructuring situation, but they didn’t get their fall inventory in until just recently, and then it took two weeks for my last LOFT order to get here.

Also, for the first time in the history of forever, they are not running a sale right now. I would never, ever recommend paying full price at LOFT. If you like any of these pieces, I would hold off on these until they’re at least 40% off.

LOFT Colorblock Ribbed Pocket Open Cardigan, size S

Long open-front cardigans are still very on-trend right now, and I love a ribbed knit cardigan because I feel like it’s more slimming. A ribbed knit fits closer to the body and tends to be more fitted, especially in the arms, which can help off-set the extra bulk in the body of the sweater.

In my post, How To Wear Cardigans Without Looking Frumpy, that is one of my tips. (See #4.)

This sweater is soft and stretchy, and it has external pockets and side slits. It comes in a gorgeous color block pattern with fun fall colors.

It’s 55% Cotton, 22% Polyester, 19% Acrylic, 4% Spandex, so perfect for those of you who can’t do wool. Highly recommend this one!

VERIDICT: Keeping!

also wearing: Ann Taylor mixed jersey tank with rag & bone Cate skinnies (similar) and Vince Camuto Gradina booties

Before we move on, I’d like to address the comment I made yesterday about struggling cardigans. I showed a picture of an outfit and said I felt like it ages me. (The outfit, not necessarily the cardigan.)

How to style a camel and black outfit for a classy fall look #fashion #fallfashion #falloutfit #scarfoutfit

And I said: “Cardigans are hard, you guys. Seriously, I am less and less enamored with them as the years go by.”

I did NOT say that all cardigans are frumpy or aging. I’ve seen my comment paraphrased a few times, and I’m afraid it may have been misunderstood.

In fact, I have an entire post dedicated to how wearing cardigans without looking frumpy, which I mentioned above.

Cardigans CAN be frumpy, but they don’t have to be. You just have to choose them wisely and style them to work for your body.

The scarf + cardigan combo is especially hard to pull off for those of us with larger chests b/c there is just so much material in the upper half of the body. It’s far more flattering to wear a cardigan with an open-neck top, the way I styled it here.

But I do wear cardigans, and I like them for certain purposes. I just feel more chic and shapely in structured jackets, so I wear them more often.

Okay, moving on!

Lou & Grey Seamed Poncho Sweater, size XS/S

Someone asked me yesterday about ponchos and capes, and here we are!

This is a modified poncho, as it has full arms, and it’s sewn all the way up the sides, so you can wear it without any under layers. I might want a tank top underneath, though, because otherwise it can be very drafty. I love this gorgeous deep olive hue, but it also comes in a warm shade of camel.

The seaming up the front and back is a nice detail, and I like the side slits and how it hangs a little longer in the back.

Because of the high side slits and the way the front just barely covers the, ahem, essentials, I would not wear this with leggings. It’s perfect with skinny jeans, though. (And if you’re shorter, perhaps it would be fine with leggings.)

This is not what I would consider a flattering top, but it’s not really meant to be. It’s meant to be oversized and cozy, and sometimes that’s nice for a change.

It’s 54% Acrylic, 44% Nylon, 2% Spandex, so no wool. I will say, though, the high acrylic content is not my favorite. It feels a little cheap for the price, but again, I would only recommend purchasing it on sale. (When I bought it, it was 50% off.)

This poncho runs true to size, or you might want to size down if in between; I’m wearing the XS/S.

VERDICT: Returning. I know myself, and I just don’t think I’ll reach for it. I’m not thrilled with the quality, plus I have the one below from the #NSale.

also wearing: rag & bone Cate skinnies (similar) and Vince Camuto Gradina booties

AllSaints Tara Cashmere & Wool Sweater, size S

I’m sharing this because I put it on after trying on the Lou & Grey poncho, wanting to compare the fit and quality for myself. This is super spendy, but the quality is in a whole different league from the Lou & Grey poncho, and I did get it during the #NSale at 40% off.

I’ve been conflicted about this one. The tags are still on, and I’m trying to decide if I want to keep it or return.

I like the clean lines, and the color is stunning. It has some nice details that are hard to see in these pictures — the ribbed trim at the arms, and the boat neck is more flattering than the high round neck.

It’s different from most of the sweaters in my closet, which is a plus, but I want to be sure I’ll get my cost per wear out of it.

I don’t usually like longer lengths but I think this one actually works. I just need to make sure to wear it with higher rise jeans, so the super high side slits aren’t an issue.

VERDICT: still deciding.

also wearing: rag & bone Cate skinnies (similar) and Vince Camuto Gradina booties

Blondo Tale Waterproof Suede Boots, size 8

I ordered these boots because I don’t have any black suede knee-high boots, and I’ve been wanting to find some with a slimmer shaft for wearing with dresses this winter.

These are waterproof, which is a HUGE plus because our winter weather can be quite messy here in Philly.

I really like the almond shaped toe and the 3″ covered block heel. They’re very walkable, but have enough height to be dressy.

The zipper makes them easy to get off and on, and they’re suuuuper comfortable inside. It feels like they’re lined with suede or something. I don’t need socks unless I want them for warmth.

They are a little snug in the toe box, though. I’m trying to decide if I need to size up to the 8.5. I almost always wear a size 8 in Blondo boots, and they do fit.

I may just need to break them in… I guess I should wear them around the house on carpet for a while and see how they feel.

VERDICT: keeping… just deciding on size.

also wearing: AG Farrah ankle skinny jeans (25% off!) with BR Tie-Dye T-Shirt (size up) – but I would NOT recommend wearing these boots with the rest of this outfit. 😂

The North Face Westborough Insulated Quilted Jacket, size M

Since I declared 2020/2021 the Year of the Coat, I ordered several puffer coats to try. These are perfect for casual outfits, which let’s face it, is what I wear 95% of the time.

I just wish I’d taken the time to style a proper fall outfit with these coats, rather than trying them on with my tie-dye tee and suede dress boots… I always regret it when I get in a hurry to get the try-ons done and don’t take the time to style the items. Oh, well.

Right off the bat, I love this jacket. It’s thin and lightweight, and the contrasting trim is a nice detail. It’s water-repellent, so you can wear it on rainy days and stay nice and dry.

It has a stand color that you can wear up or down.

It zips easily, and it also has snaps if you want that option. The zig-zag quilted pattern is a nice detail as well.

Here it is unzipped, with the collar down. You can see that the sleeves are too long for me, and overall, this coat is just too big in the medium.

I did a back-shot of all these coats. It’s always important to know what you look like from the back, but I feel like that angle can really make or break a coat.

Even though the hem falls at the widest point of my hips, the curved hem is flattering. (It has a 24″ front length and 26″ back length.)

You can definitely see that this coat is too big from this angle, though.

VERDICT: returning; too big. I may re-order in the small… or I may keep the white, below.

The North Face Westborough Insulated Quilted Jacket, size S

This is the same jacket in the white, in a size small. I couldn’t decide which color I liked better, so I ordered both.

I think you can see that it’s much more flattering in the right size. Even in the white, which tends to make you look bigger, the arms fit perfectly now.

They’re slimmer too, and in the right size, you can see how the back has some structure through the waist.

Here’s a better view of the hem — I love that!

I think the white is so fun with the black lining and yellow trim. It looks more sporty than the black, somehow. The thing is, I don’t feel like I could throw it on with any old thing. I would feel the need to style it, whereas the black seems like it would go with almost anything.

But I already have a short black quilted coat that I wear a ton in the fall and winter, so I feel like the white would be a better choice for my wardrobe. Decisions…

Here it is unzipped… but it looks dreadful over this tie dye tee.

I will have to do some more try-ons and style it with items in my closet the way I would want to wear it and see if I think I should keep it or not.

One more last angle for you… if you need a coat like this, I HIGHLY recommend this one. I think it’s so cute and flattering, and it’s warm and lightweight and practical too. For $139, it’s a no-brainer!

VERDICT: Keeping? Maybe… or I will get the black in a size small.

Everlane The ReNew Channeled Liner, size S

This jacket is made almost entirely from 100% recycled polyester. It’s lightweight and packable, and priced just right at $98.

It comes in a bunch of pretty colors, but I was drawn to the black.

I like the collarless design for a change, and it’s very comfortable on, but it’s pretty boxy.

I like it better unsnapped, but that’s not always practical, and the lack of zipper is frustrating. Futzing with the snaps every time I want to close it would be a real pain.

Again, if I was wearing a turtleneck and casual boots, this would look a lot more chic. It definitely has a modern, cool-girl vibe. It’s very Everlane.

You can see how the back isn’t nearly as flattering as The North Face jacket above, but I do like where it hits just below the widest part of my hips.

VERDICT: returning, mainly because of the zipper issue, and also because I like The North Face one better.

Bernardo Packable EcoPlume Coat, size S

This coat is lightweight and packable, and it’s on sale for $98. It’s slightly dressier than the coats above, and it would service a different purpose in my wardrobe. I like how fitted it is — very flattering.

Bernardo makes a decent quality coat. My go-to leather jacket is a Bernardo, and it has held up beautifully, going on three or four years now.

I do feel like the hardware on this one looks and feels a little cheap, though. It’s hard to see here, but it’s a rose gold, which is kind of fun and trendy, but it’s not really my thing.

Here’s the back view — again, very flattering. And it’s slightly longer, but I don’t think it would be long enough to keep your rear end warm if you’re sitting on a cold metal bleacher.

(Can you tell that I was just at a high school football game last night? LOL!) It’s definitely something to consider.

It has pockets, and you can wear the collar down like this, or standing up like shown above. The opal grey is a really nice color, and a welcome change from my go-to black. It also comes in a light pink.

This is definitely a more feminine look overall, and would be a nice crossover between casual and dressy outfits.

VERDICT: Returning. I just can’t get excited about it.

Billabong Transport Hooded Water Repellent Puffer Jacket, size M

I was really drawn to the color of this one, and the super puffy style is trendy and fun. It’s a juniors item, so I went with a medium, but I think it might be too big.

It’s hard to know without trying the small because I know it’s supposed to have an oversized look about it.

It’s shorter all the way around, 25 1/2″ long. I only have two pictures for some reason, I guess that’s a sure sign I wasn’t thrilled with it.

You can definitely see and feel the difference in quality, but it’s $120, so comparable in price to the others I found. I don’t think it’s worth that. It it were $79, I might exchange it for the small.

RETURNING: cute, but overpriced for the quality

Treasure & Bond Belted Blanket Wrap Coat, size S

I styled this coat for the blog earlier this week, but I wanted to show it with jeans. So cute, right???

This time, I did take the time to put a sweater under it, and I would definitely wear it with jeans and these boots.

I love this look! If it were just a bit cooler here today, I’d wear this to dinner tonight. (We’re taking R out for Italian for her birthday.)

VERDICT: Keeping!

also wearing: Everlane The Alpaca Sweater Tee with AG Farrah skinnies (25% off) and Blondo Tale Boots

Talbots Flyaway Cardigan, size S

Now, this is a cardigan I can get excited about. This one is very slimming — from the on-shoulder seams and slim arms, to the overall cut of body of the sweater. It’s made without any extra material to add volume or visual weight, and it hangs straight and close to the body.

The pockets are located in the exact right spot (sometimes cheaper cardigans have oddly placed pockets) and the ribbed trim is a nice detail.

This sweater is very soft and comfortable too. It’s made of 44% Acrylic, 35% Nylon, 7% Wool, 7% Alpaca, 7% Spandex. So yes, there’s a bit of wool in there.

It runs small, as I often size down in cardigans, and this one just fits in the size small. I would go with your true size if ordering. It comes in 3 other colors as well.

also wearing: Talbots Jayla suede ankle boots, pima cotton tank, and denim jeggings

For a more casual look, I styled this cardigan over my NYC tee with light wash blue jeans (old) and black studded flats.

FYI, this tee is on sale and then an extra 50% off. Mine is slightly different, but it’s the same vibe.

Also, Talbots is doing 50% off 3+ products, 40% off 2+ products, and 30% off 1 product right now.

VERDICT: Keeping!

AGL Studded Pointy Toe Moc, size 8.5

These flats were part of the #NSale, and at the time, I was too overwhelmed by sweaters and boots and denim to give them much thought. But now that I’m dressing for fall, I realized that I do have a place for them in my wardrobe, and they’re on sale again, so I ordered them to try them out.

I first typed “need” and then changed it to “place” — haha! I think it’s important to know the difference. Do I need these? No, but they definitely fill a hole in my wardrobe, and I believe I will get a low cost per wear out of them, even though they’re spendy.

Loafers with rock and roll details like these subtle studs are very much on trend this fall, and that falls right into my personal style aesthetic. I love the juxtaposition of the luxe leather, classic loafer, and edgy studded detail on these flats.

AGL makes a high quality Italian shoe that will last many years, and since this trend is just coming on the scene, it means I have a good three or four years to wear them before I risk them going out of vogue — always something to consider when making a wardrobe investment.

VERDICT: Keeping!

Everlane The Alpaca Sweater Tee, size S

I might have squealed a bit when I put this sweater tee on. I LOVE IT. It’s so simple, and yet, it makes such a statement.

I love the length, the fit, the sleeves could be just a bit more snug, but it’s not a deal breaker. The material is 58% Alpaca, 34% Nylon, 8% Wool.

I threw a taupe moto on top, to see how it layers, and it’s perfect. Such a chic outfit — I cannot wait to wear it!

It comes in 4 other colors, but I really like this heathered black.

I also threw it on with my off-black jeans and the AGL loafers to see how it would work with a monochromatic look.

It also looks great with a snake print.

These loafers are from Talbots, and they’re comfortable. Remember, Talbots is doing 50% off 3+ products, 40% off 2+ products, and 30% off 1 product right now.

I also ordered the ivory in medium, worried that this sweater might run small, but it does not. The small fits me perfectly.

The ivory is nice too, but it doesn’t excite me like the heathered black.

VERDICT: Keeping the black!

AG Farrah Skinny Ankle Jeans, size 28

I had these last year in the size 29, and I had to pass them on when I lost weight. They’re currently 25% off, but I believe they were marked down even further when I ordered them a few weeks ago.

I really like this medium blue wash. I often feel like I need something in between my darker and lighter washes, so I decided to grab these while on sale.

AG just does denim right, ya know? The whiskering and fading on these is perfection, and their rear pocket placement is always my favorite.

VERDICT: Keeping!

The Motherchic Vibe Check Burnout Boyfriend Tee, size XS

I’m going to have to whip through these last few, as I’m running out of time. My friend Lindsey at The Motherchic has a cozy line out with Gibson Look. You can use MOTHERCHIC20 to get 20% off these pieces.

I ordered this burnout tee b/c I have one of her old ones from a previous collection, and I love it. So soft, with such a nice drape.

I ordered XS b/c that is what I have in my other one, but this one must run smaller b/c I don’t love the fit. I would recommend getting your true size. Sorry if I steered anyone wrong before!

The Motherchic Let’s Stay Home Lettuce Edge Hoodie (size S) and Sleep In Lettuce Edge Drawstring Shorts (size S)

These are super cute, and super soft inside. I love the pink tie dye, and the lettuce edge details are feminine and fun.

It’s even cute from the back… which is hard to say for loungewear.

‘These run true to size, I would not be able to size down in either. (Wearing a small.)

VERDICT: Keeping!

The Motherchic From A Distance Cozy Pocket Jogger (size S)

Again, these are super soft and cozy, and I like the fit. They aren’t oversized at all.

They have a smooth waist, and no tie, which I like b/c you don’t have any extra bulk when you wear a top untucked.

VERDICT: keeping!

On Cloud Running Shoe, size 8

I wanted to love these, and they are SUPER lightweight, and the colors are great for wearing with darker outfits. I feel like all my sneakers are white, and I wanted something with more grey/black.

But. They dug into the back of my heel.

I don’t know what’s up with that, but I sent them back.

VERDICT: returning

Talbots Soft Merino V-Neck Sweater Dress, size S

I just wanted to show you this dress in the rich russet real quick, while they are running their sale. I did my best to get these photos to show the dress in the actual color, but I could not get them to come out right. So go by the color on the website.

I tried a few different shoe options…

VERDICT: Keeping the dress. Can’t decide which shoes I prefer.

also wearing: Sam Edelman Hai boots // Vionic Bianca sandals // Blondo Tale boots // Kate Spade large florence leather shoulder bag (40% off)

Eileen Fisher V-Neck Shift Dress, size XS

I’m sorry if I steered anyone wrong on this, but it is not the same as the Nordstrom one, and I don’t care for it as much.

The material doesn’t feel as nice, and it’s longer and a little more shapeless.

AND someone forgot to remove the security tag. D’oh!

VERDICT: returning

Treasure & Bond Cozy V-Neck Hooded Sweatshirt, size S

This top is thinner than it looks (but not too thin) and lightweight and VERY soft. I love the banded waist, v-neck, hoodie, all of it. Very cute and flattering for a casual piece.

Plus, this color is perfect for fall. It also comes in ivory and black, and I have no idea why they’re listed separately.

VERDICT: Keeping!

And here it is in the ivory.

Democracy Women’s High Rise Ab Solution Jegging, size 6

I’m always trying to find more affordable denim to share with you, and I thought these looked really good on the Amazon website.

The wash doesn’t look quite as good in person (and it’s darker than I expected) but I don’t hate it. For the price, they’re actually pretty good.

They have that Wit & Wisdom Absolution technology with the hidden elastic waistband and mesh panels to mold and hold, and the rear pockets are a nice size and shape. They’re smaller than some, which is what I prefer on me personally. (The pockets, not the jeans.)

The jeans actually run big. The 6 was roomy, and I can tell they will stretch out some. Definitely size down a full size if ordering these.

LOFT V-Neck Sweater Tee, size S

This sweater is marked WAY down — like under $20. It’s very lightweight, definitely more of a spring sweater — or it would be nice for those in warmer climates this fall.

It also comes in a pumpkin color and a light pink.

I really like it. It’s flattering, has nice details, and seems like it will hold its shape.

It’s 22 1/2″ inches long, so it looks best with higher rise jeans, and the material is 76% Cotton, 24% Nylon. It runs TTS; I have the small.

VERDICT: Keeping!

And that’s a wrap. I’m sure I missed some things, I was really rushing to finish this up here at the end. If you have any questions, I’m happy to answer in the comments.

  1. Love your try-on hauls! I put the Talbot’s cardigan (in olive) in my cart immediately. I did not take offense at all at the cardigan comment yesterday. I agree that they can be frumpy. I’ve got some currently that I just do not reach for because I know they’re not flattering on me. Generally, it’s because there’s just too much material. I find ribbed knits (like the Leith cardigan) tend to be more flattering on me.

I *love* that North Face jacket. I wish I needed it…I have a similar lightweight jacket, although it’s a lightish blue one. I’m trying to convince myself I need the black one. I love the white too, but black is just more practical for me.

    1. Yeah, I didn’t think you took it the wrong way. And I think it’s important to remember time and place when choosing outfits. A cardigan definitely makes more sense in a school classroom than some of the fitted jackets. I mean, I’m sure you can incorporate some of those too, but I would definitely own more cardigans if I was still teaching.

  2. Happy Birthday to your daughter!  What a great try-on post!  I really like the NorthFace jackets on you and I can definitely see the difference in fit and overall style between it & the others.  The AGL Studded Pointy Toe Moc are beautiful and it looks like they are elasticized at the heels to help them stay on.  I am always on the lookout for nice joggers, so I am drawn to the Motherchic joggers, especially since they don’t tie at the waist.  I am definitely checking out the Democracy jeggings and the Loft V-Neck sweater.  Have a great day and family dinner tonight!

  3. I think cardigans can be frumpy and rarely wear them. I have two that I like. They are longer so they feel more current. Also thinner, so they skim the body. I think the short cardigans worn buttoned up as a top look cute too. I’m more prone to reach for my jean jacket or one of my leather ones as a third piece.
Love the North Face quilted jacket. I would pick black as white gets dirty too quick. I had a white jacket and the collar would get make up on it all the time, plus I have a dog. White and a dog don’t mix!
Love the red sweater dress! I liked it best with the heels. Perhaps, it would look better with leather versus suede boots.🤔
    Happy 15th Birthday Becca!

  4. What a fun post!  I love love love that black everlane sweater!  I have to thank you for yesterdays post.  I  now know that there are more then a few of my jeans that need to be shortened.  I am very thankful for the subtle reminders that you provide that keep me current on how I can avoid looking frumpy.   Have a fun day!

  5. Hi Jo-Lynne!  I am a fairly new reader having discovered you through Cyndi’s blog.  I thoroughly enjoy reading your posts.  I can only imagine the hours it must take to put them together.  I have to admit, I did a little sigh of relief when I read today’s clarification about cardigans.  I have quite the collection! .  I convinced myself though, that I was in the clear of any possibility of “frump” because I select them very carefully on shape, texture, color and fit.  Also, I live in NE Florida and find that for me, those cardigans are my “third piece” during our cooler weather (and air condition weather) instead of jackets and coats.  Anyway…thank you so much for the words of affirmation!  I always look forward to your posts!

    1. I’m glad I could put your mind at ease, lol!!! I think some of it has to do with body type too. Cardigans and a larger chest are not the best combination, and I think that’s why I struggle with them.

But if they work for your lifestyle and body type, I totally understand why you would enjoy them. They’re very convenient.

  6. Hi Jo-Lynne. I hope Becca enjoyed her birthday!
What a great try-on haul. Lots of temptation there!
I wanted to give you an update on the Vince sweater situation. I hadn’t bought one because the sleeves look so long, and I am petite. You encouraged me to give it a try anyway, so I did. I decided to go with the xsmall, since my normal small was sold out, and medium is just way too big for me. The sweater came yesterday, and it fit perfectly!  It fit closer to the body, and the arms were fine!  And the cashmere sweater felt wonderful!  You have turned me into a Vince fan. There’s something about quality, especially over quantity. You have converted me. Now I am considering the AGL flats. Thank you for all you do in helping other women to look their best!

    1. I am so glad to hear this! YAY! Vince sweaters really are a glorious thing. 🙂 And the AGL flats… seriously, just give them a try. You can always return if you don’t love them, but I was blown away.

  7. Great haul! Thank you for sharing so many different pieces! My vote with the red sweater dress is the tan boots. Sandals aren’t right since it’s sweater knit. Maybe some leopard pumps would be cute

  8. Would you tell us more about the jeggings  and boots you styled with the cardigan from Talbots? Are they true to size and what sizes did you get ?   I love your blog.  Have a nice Sunday

    1. Sure! Sorry, I was running out of time and couldn’t give them each their own feature, but I’ll be doing a dedicated post with that outfit next week. The booties are really nice, comfortable, and a classic style. The jeggings are pretty good too. They’re true to size, a very dark wash so on the dressier side. Let me know if you have any other questions.

  9. I ordered the North Face jacket in white! It looks so cute on you so I’m hoping it does on me too. I’m tired of all my black jackets. I’m really searching for items in colors other than black and gray this fall. Thanks for another great try on haul!

    1. Let me know how you like it! I know I’d wear black more, but I’m so tempted to keep the white b/c it’s different and fun. I’ve been wanting a white jacket for years, so I’m not sure why I’m even debating.

      1. Hi Jo-Lynne! I just wanted to report back in on the white North Face. It came today and I love it! I ordered 2 sizes and was very surprised that the small is the better fit. My other NF styles are mediums. It’s definitely a keeper. Thank you for posting it. I think you should keep yours!

  10. Loving your posts..,making me reevaluate few coats and
Cardigans. I never thought about what you wear under them
makes a difference and the length!
Perfect boots …and Snow worthy! I shouldn’t use that s word yet! Lol

  11. Hi there!  First to say I love your blogs.  I’m learning so much.  Appreciate being one step ahead of the style scene.  Question:  would you ever do a blog on regular glasses and sunglasses?  I need glasses to drive.  Been wearing the same style for 10 years!  So need to update!!!  Thanks for considering!

  12. Lots of hits in this haul! Since you said you’re looking for a darker sneaker for casual wear, I thought I’d mention AllBirds. I’m sure that they’ve probably been suggested to you in the past but just in case. 🙂 I have and LOVE AllBirds Tree Runners. They are comfy and cushy and can be worn without socks (how I always wear them). Unfortunately, they aren’t quite warm enough for me to wear all winter. I ordered their Wool Runners last year at Christmas time and really liked them a lot. Warm and comfy even without socks. But I took the advice on the site and ordered up in size and they turned out to be too big in the end. I recently tried their new Piper version and decided they made my feet look like clown feet. LOL! So I’ve sent them back and ordered the wool runners in my actual size. Fingers crossed that they are the Goldilocks shoe for this winter.
