Hello from Rhode Island!!!
I’m up here for a press trip with CVS Pharmacy, but I managed to finagle an extra day to spend with my dear friend Melissa who moved up here this past summer.
Of course we drove straight from the airport to the mall. This is me outside of Nordstrom with her little guy, Colin. He gave me the biggest hug when they picked me up at the airport. Such a sweetie.
Then last night we enjoyed a seafood dinner by the water. I am so loving this town. I’d move here in a hot minute if my husband wasn’t so attached to his day job.
So onto Daily Mom Style. I wore this outfit to Bible Study on Sunday night. It’s nothing special, but the t-shirt is super cute, right?? (Just pay no never mind to those wrinkles. Sheesh.)
I have no recollection where I wore this next outfit. It’s been that kind of week. The charcoal top is from LOFT last fall, and the green jeans are a closet staple, as you probably know! In fact, I didn’t realize until I went to put this week’s Daily Mom Style post together that I wore these green jeans twice. Yes, I love them that much.
Here we are, green jeans, take two! I wore this outfit to church on Sunday. The cardi and embellished tank are from Madewell, several seasons ago.
The lighting was kind of weird in that picture so I got my daughter to take this photo outside when she got home from school. It was a bit windy!
I’ve always loved the details on this top. The necklace, again, is from Studio Jewel. It’s been a Studio Jewel week!
This is a casual outfit I just wore around the house on Monday. I pulled out my Gap medallion tee (sold out) and paired it with skinny jeans and these snakeskin ballet flats by Sofft that unfortunately are going back. I was trying to find sensible ballet flats that I can wear this fall that won’t aggravate my plantar fasciitis, but these don’t quite cut it. I need something more like my Orthaheel sandals but in a ballet flat. Oh well, you win some, you lose some, right??
And this was my travel outfit yesterday, my elbow-patch pullover sweater with dark skinny jeans.

Hi Jo-Lynne —- just a quick note re: your Orthoheels —- not sure where you purchase yours, but do check the QVC website, they have a TON and I know they have ballet flats (and many other cute styles).
PS & BTW love the BR top you’re wearing, super cute !!
Thanks! I’ll check!
I have that Gap Medallion tee too! Love Cole Hann Air, I have brown boots by them and their are amazing.
That cream top is gorgeous, who makes that??
Melissa’s son is adorable!! Glad you had a nice trip!
The cream top is from Madewell. LOVE it!
Hi Jo-Lynne,
I love your Style. It’s so fair and beautiful.
Lovely greetings from Germany.

Lookin’ good! I really like the shoes you are pairing with the jeans. They look casual but stylish. Now about that elbow patch sweater, you still don’t think it’s itchy. I want it. 🙂
Did you ever purchase the Tiek shoes you mentioned in a previous post? I too am always looking for a great, comfortable flat! Love your posts. Thanks!
Heart those emerald skinnies! Hope you can join us by linking up to Monday Mingle again! 🙂
I think I did!! 🙂
So awesome that you got to see Melissa. Looking good mama!
I love the tan shoes, heel/slingback pair, where can I find them? thanks and I love reading your blog 🙂
Hi Marissa. They are long gone, unfortunately. They’re You By Crocs, but I got them a few years ago.
