February Favorites 2020

Greetings, friends! I’m back with my February Favorites.

I’m barely slipping this one in under the wire. I can’t believe February is coming to an end already.

Of course, that means we have to face March… possibly my least favorite month of the year. Hopefully this one will go by quickly, since I have some fun plans to look forward to.

February Favorites 2020

This is a roundup of new finds and old favorites that I’m particularly loving right now.

#1. Reformation Cashmere Blend Sweater // I’m loving the stripes and lighter color palette for this time of year, but it’s still cozy enough for these chilly winter days.

This sweater is slightly cropped, but the sleeves are nice and long. It runs small, so I recommend sizing up one from your normal; I have the medium.

#2. Fort Collins Boho Wrap // I love the colors in this wrap, and I can’t wait to wear it more once I’m not wearing long sleeves all the time!

#3. CND nail polish in midnight swim // This is such a pretty blue — almost black, with just a hint of sparkle. I usually go for matte shades, but I’ve been enjoying this one this month.

#4. rag & bone Shredded-Hem Ankle Skinny Jeans in Flint // I’ve been wearing these jeans a ton since I got them. I really like the lighter wash, and the 27″ inseam is just the right length for booties and sneakers.

These jeans run TTS; I have the 28. They’re also 25% off right now!

#5. Sweaty Betty Rhythm Merino Hoodie // This was an impulse purchase, more or less blog research after a friend and fellow blog-reader mentioned how much she loves her Sweaty Betty workout wear.

Well… I ended up keeping it, and I’ve been wearing it a ton, along with the Sweaty Betty Power 7/8 Technical Leggings. I have the small, for reference, and it’s on sale with free express shopping and free returns on the Sweaty Betty website!!!

In fact, they have a lot of their winter inventory on sale right now.

#6. Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 36 Running Shoes // I bought these along with the Sweaty Betty athletic wear, and I wear them just as much. I like that they’re supportive enough to do my walking and also look good enough to wear out and about.

Unfortunately, my black/gold/red/white went on sale and are almost sold out, but this style comes in tons of other color options.

#7. Adidas Originals adidas Trefoil Baseball Cap // How did I survive so long without a ball cap? I do have one, actually, but it’s hot pink so I mostly wear it in the summer.

I love this black Adidas cap — I throw it on when my hair is looking rough, and it makes me feel a little more put together.

#8. LOFT Striped Pocket Cowl Neck Sweater // This sweater is such a cute transition piece — nice and cozy for these cold winter days, but with a nautical vibe that gives a nod to spring. I love it paired with blue jeans and white denim.

Beat of all, it’s marked down to $19.88 and fully stocked!

#9. Everlane The Day Loafers // I just got these, and I’m super excited about them. I think I’ll be wearing them a lot once the weather warms up. They’re so, so comfortable, and I like the silhouette as well. They’re not as masculine as some loafers. Plus, I just like supporting Everlane.

#10. Nespresso VertuoLine // Since starting to drink my coffee black, I’ve appreciated my Nespresso coffee even more. It makes such a rich, frothy cup of coffee that I hardly miss my heavy cream…

Okay, I miss it. But good coffee makes drinking it black tolerable. I’m still waiting to actually like it this way. My favorite pods are the Stormio.

And that’s a wrap! I hope you found it fun or helpful in some way. As always, I’m happy to answer any questions in the comments.

  1. So many good things in the list above! First, I know you didn’t mention the pajamas, but I love those…so cozy. I have 3 pairs in different patterns. 🙂 I agree about the Nespresso. I have one of the “original” type Nespresso makers and I love it. I do not love black coffee. I’m used to it, but I don’t enjoy it. I have actually switched my eating window around so I have my window in the mornings. W/ teaching, I feel like I need to NOT run the risk of being hangry with my kids, and there were definitely time I was. My window tends to be 18:6 to 19:5. I really don’t have a problem fasting from noon to 6:30 or 7am the next day. And I hate to say it, but my husband and I tended to eat dinner on the couch anyway, so he still eats dinner (and I don’t have a problem fixing dinner…but I tell him he’ll have to adjust for seasonings, lol), and we just watch tv or chat. If we have an evening thing, it has not been difficult to adjust a couple of days ahead of time. It’s a pretty flexible WOL.

Also wanted to add, I’m really tempted to get the Everlane loafers, but I find I rarely wear loafers, so I’m concerned about cost per wear. They look really comfy though.

  2. I really like the sweaters and the loafers from Everlane.  I know that to get really good quality shoes, you have to pay a higher price, but right now spending that amount just isn’t in our budget.  I know that you are beyond excited about the cabinets getting painted today.  I suspect they will get it all done in one day.  Looking forward to seeing pictures!  Have a great day!

  3. I’ve been hemming and hawing over that Loft striped sweater since you first posted it but just saw it’s now down to $19.88 — how could I pass it up for that price? Finally ordered it this morning. It looks like a perfect piece for March.

  4. I LOVE the Nespresso machine.  I prefer it to any drink at Starbucks.  I also love that you can send all of the used cups back to the company for free & they recycle them.  It’s really worth every penny!!

      1. Great thanks! Ordering now !!! And I truly LOVE my sweaty Betty neoprene backpack you featured !  Love taking it back and forth to Barre class to store my personal belongings in !!!
