I’ve always been one of those girls who refuses to wear gym sneakers with street clothes. In fact, I think years went by that I didn’t even own a pair of gym sneakers. And I only ever had dress boots until I went to college in Massachusetts and discovered the necessity of duck boots. Does anyone else remember those ugly things? Point being, I’m all for form over function.
These boots are the PERFECT marriage of functionality and style. They come in a variety of colors and some cute prints as well. I chose the olive. To see how well they would perform, my husband and I met at a nearby nature preserve one afternoon to take my new Bogs for a test drive. Not only did they protect me from the elements, but the footbed is super supportive and comfortable. We probably walked two miles before all was said and done, and my feet still felt great.
The Bogs Sidney boots are constructed with 5mm Neo-Tech Lite Insulation and Max-Wick, so they actually move sweat away from your feet to keep you dry. Plus they have a Molded EVA insole that supports and cushions your feet so you can wear them for hours without getting sore. I was truly impressed. My feet stayed comfortable and dry the whole time.
While I haven’t had a chance to verify this for myself, these boots are comfort rated from temperate to 5 degrees Fahrenheit. I know what I’ll be wearing when we go Christmas tree shopping this year!!
Haha… Caught in the act! Yes, I take my smartphone everywhere.
These boots can take whatever you dish out. They’re the perfect grab-and-go-outside boot that won’t sacrifice your sense of style.
