{Gluten Free} Weekly Meal Plan 10.22.12

gluten menu plan

This is a short week for us because we are heading to Disney World!!! To say we are excited would be a huge understatement. (And by we, I mean the kids. My husband and I are just hoping to stay sane through it all.)

For that reason, I won’t be posting a menu plan next week. But I will post a full week of meals today so this post is complete. My OCD just wouldn’t be able to handle it any other way! Plus this may give us some inspiration for the week we return, although I have a feeling re-entry is going to be a beast. We might be doing take out for a while!

MONDAY: Stuffed Shells with @RoseRomanos Italian Peppers

(The recipe will be in the next issue of Rose Romano’s email newsletter, which is going out on Wednesday .) I’m actually making this so I can take photos for the newsletter. I’ll be using Tinkyada Brown Rice Pasta Grand Shells to keep this dish gluten free!

TUESDAY: Gourmet Hamburgers with @UdisGlutenFree buns and Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Bacon and Caramelized Onions

WEDNESDAY: Oregano Chicken with Beet and Goat Cheese Salad

THURSDAY: We’ll be dining with The Mouse, but may I suggest Philly Sausage & Peppers with a side salad?

FRIDAY: How about Pan Roasted Pork Loin with Leeks and Zucchini Cakes? This is another good one that doesn’t get much air time. I don’t know why; it is so easy!

SATURDAY: Probably a good day for soup. Try Emeril’s Turkey White Bean Chili!

What are you eating this week?

  1. Have a wonderful trip! I went to Disneyland over spring break and nearly went crazy with all the people, but this should be a great time to go to Disney world!

This week I’ve shared two posts, one for a recipe for pumpkin spiced butternut squash dip and spread, and a post on 8 ways to use wrinkly, spotty old peppers.

I’ve also started a new link-up on my blog called Waste Not Want Not Wednesday for sharing recipes and ideas for using up scraps of food, fabric, old recycled things, etc and welcome everyone to stop by and check it out, or share 🙂

  2. We used to live 30 minutes from Disney World – I miss it so much! Take a deep breath and have fun =]

Sharing my menu plan for this week and my new soup obsession.

  3. I just found your site, and I am so excited to check out your ideas and recipes. Thanks for this great party. I’m finding that gluten-free parties are rare. Yours makes number five that I know of. I host one, too. If you haven’t already, I’d love for you to visit my Gluten-Free Monday party at OneCreativeMommy.com and link up. I’m linking up a couple of ideas, and I’ll be back next week for sure!

  4. I wanted to let you know that I added your party to my Party Page (under specialty parties) so that my followers and I will remember to come back each week. I hope I’ll send you some good gluten-free traffic!
