THIS right here is why I live in Philadelphia, folks. That ain’t no Steak-umm.
Last night for dinner, I served chicken Caesar salad. It’s one of my favorite summertime dinners, and this was the first of the season. In years past, one bag of salad is plenty. But last night we cleaned the bowl, and the kids were begging for more. And I’m not talking about just more croûtons. ...
I feel like I’m coming out of hibernation. Like I’ve been waiting since last September, just biding my time until the return of summer. There’s nothing like it — the warmth, the breeze through the open windows, the sound of the birds, waking up to full sunlight at 6am, the sound of kids playing outside,...
I borrowed copied stole this idea from somewhere. I’d gladly give credit if I could remember where on earth I saw it. My 2-year-old is saying the cutest things. I just love her voice inflection and the way she pronounces difficult words. I thought I’d record some of them here. I’m always translating for whoever...
Pretty much, minus the tablecloth and pretty cloth napkin. 😉
I am in a strange mood so I must ask, is that how you would serve this meal (as pictured)?
Seriously, it does sound yummy.
You are so funny!
And it looks delicious!
I love this meal.
That sounds SO good! I think it’s great your kidlets are enjoying salad too. My daughter eats the fixin’s, just not together in a salad persay. A little lettuce here, tomato there, red pepper over here…
One recent trick that totally appeals to my lazy side, is to buy the pre-cooked, frozen fajita chicken strips at HEB to heat up and put on top of my salad.
You should call this your Magic Chicken Caesar Salad since the kids Nom Nomed it all up.
That is one of my favorite meals ever!!!!
Thanks!! I love easy dinners in the summer.
Yum! Thanks.
Delicious! We make a variation of this quite often. It’s so simple and healthy!
P.S. Did you take that photo?
