Holiday season is HERE, and the party invitations are going to start coming in, if they haven’t already!

There’s nothing worse than feeling caught at the last minute without a hostess gift, am I right? So I’ve rounded up a holiday gift guide chock full of hostess gifts under $50.

Holiday Gift Guide 2019: Hostess Gifts

one // I love to burn candles in my house; we almost always have one going at some point during the day. The Capri Blue candles don’t only smell amazing, but they look pretty too, making them a great gift idea.

two // Christmas tree ornaments are one of my favorite things to gift during the holidays, and these snowflake ornaments on Etsy are so modern and pretty. I love the earthy, natural colors.

three // I love casual entertaining, and I’m always in need of bowls and trays. This beautiful serving platter is crafted of Portugese clay and features a pristine white glaze and fine, elegant edges.

four // I always use cocktail napkins when hosting even the most informal gathering, and I love it when they have a bit of humor. This set is really fun for a holiday hostess gift.

five // I have one of these reed diffusers in my powder room at all times, and I love the idea of a holiday scented one.

six // This set of cheese knives is an elegant and practical gift — especially for someone who appreciates good cheese.

seven // This is the cutest hand cream ever! And who doesn’t need hand cream? I always make sure to have one in my bag.

eight // Everyone I know is getting one of these for Christmas this year. #spoileralert They are sooo soft, and best of all, they don’t shed like so many cozy blankets.

nine // This is such a pretty and unique gift… but useful too!

ten // Yum! ‘Nuff said.

eleven // I think these are in at least one of my gift guides every year. The sets with the metal holder are especially nice.

twelve // How cute are these woven dishcloths???

thirteen // I thought this little honey pot was cute too… also, honey is delicious with a cheese board.

  1. Love these hostess gift ideas. I usually default to fresh flowers or a bottle of sparkly! Good to shake it up a bit, especially for the holidays. These are classy and stylish ideas that lots of my friends would appreciate. Thanks for doing the hard work of finding new ideas!

  2. Thank you for the great ideas! I tend to bring a gift bag filled with pretty napkins and hand soap to hostesses. Now thanks to you, I have other ideas.

  3. This is an awesome gift guide! As a non regular wine drinker, I would appreciate any of these in place of a bottle. #notthenorm I especially love the idea of giving the platter with some homemade item on it (cookies, etc) and then they get to keep the platter!

  4. As always, you have the BEST taste! I got someone in the office Secret Santa who said she’d like something for her home (I ferreted out this info without giving away that I had her.) I’m giving her the Anthro woven dishcloths as the price is perfect. I really think she’ll love them!

  5. What were the window candles you recommended For holiday decorating ? They were battery operated, on a timer and NOT tippy.  (Mine are so annoying, I need to upgrade). Thanks you!
