Holiday Gift Ideas for the Fashionista at Nordstrom

Hello and welcome back to 25 Days of Winter Fashion! Today I’ve rounded up some fun holiday gift ideas for the fashionista in your life, and I’m sharing a casual winter outfit from Nordstrom that incorporates some of my top picks.

Holiday Gift Ideas for the Fashionista at Nordstrom

Wearing this slouchy marled-knit tunic sweater with its generously scooped neckline and extra-long sleeves makes me want to cozy up by the fire with a mug of hot chocolate and binge-watch Gilmore Girls. It’s cute and casual and pairs equally well with leggings or your favorite skinny jeans.

This sweater also comes in beige and grey, and I had the hardest time deciding what color to order. I really like the oatmeal, but I have a lot of that color, so I went with the burgundy. Because I don’t have ANYTHING in this color…. bwahaha! Okay, I do, but for some reason, not many sweaters.

This sweater definitely runs large. I’m wearing the small. It would make a great gift for your teen or young adult daughter or a girlfriend who likes to dress to the current trends. It’s on the thinner side, but I didn’t feel like it needed a base layer as suggested on the website. It’s certainly not see-through.

R Minkoff Love Crossbody has been on my wishlist for ages, and it makes the perfect accessory for this trendy outfit. The grey creates a nice contrast against the burgundy sweater, although it sold out. The mushroom color is close, and I almost like it better because it goes with greys AND browns.

I also love her Vanity Saddle Bag in the mushroom and also the cuoio. For a less expensive bag that is practical and on trend, check out this faux leather drawstring bag. It comes in cognac, black, and red, and it’s on sale for $31.

The necklace is a fun twist on the choker trend. It is currently backordered, but there are lots of similar styles, and these make a nice affordable, trendy gift for the fashionista in your life. This long wrap choker is a good option at $35, and if you don’t mind spending a little more, this Kendra Scott version has crystal-encrusted daggers on the ends that add a nice touch. Plus it’s worth investing a little more for Kendra Scott quality if you’re buying for someone who will appreciate it.

And how stinkin’ cute is this knit beanie with the faux fur pompom??? I thought I was going to feel ridiculous wearing this, but it turned out to be really cute… or at least, I thought so. Don’t burst my bubble. Best of all, it’s only $19. It originally came in 5 or 6 colors, but it appears that only black is left. There are a ton of pompom beanies to choose from on the Nordstrom website. This one is cute in grey, and this one comes in a similar color to mine.

I’m also wearing faded black skinnies and black wedge ankle boots. Both are on trend at the moment, and there are tons of options at Nordstrom if these are items on your wish list or someone you’re buying for. I’ll link to some options at the bottom of the post.

I also layered on some of my favorite D Yurman jewelry because they’re classic and go with everything. These pieces are definitely spendy, but they will last a lifetime if they’re taken care of, and they make great special occasion gifts.

My husband likes to buy things for me that I wouldn’t buy myself, and over the years, he’s given me several Yurman pieces. I like wearing them together because they all have that signature cable detail that keeps them coordinated even when they’re all a little bit different. If you have someone in your life who likes to splurge on you for Christmas, feel free to forward this post to them!

Finally, an awesome and affordable gift idea is these Kate Spade sparkle studs. They come in some really fun colors, but I opted for the opal glitter set in silver. You know me and my plain Jane ways!!! But I love how they go with almost everything. They’re big enough to make a statement, and they have the illusion of big diamond earrings, but they’re clearly not trying to be diamonds. I also love the black multi glitter gold that was just restocked after being sold out on Black Friday. YAY!

At $32, these make a trendy, affordable gift for so many who may be on your list — your sister, your bestie, your teen daughter, your niece, your mom, your kid’s favorite teacher… you name it.
