Holiday Gift Ideas for the Jet Setter

#1. The Dreamsoft Travel Scarf ($68) // This all-in-one scarf + shawl + blanket was recommended to me by someone in a Facebook travel group, and it’s a really nice value for the price point. I’ve used mine several times in my recent travels.

It easy folds up inside my carry-on when not in use, but it keeps me warm when the airplane is chilly, and it can be part of your outfit if you need a wrap during your trip.

#2. AWAY Suitcaes + Everywhere Bag // These are the best suitcases, so well designed and nice quality. I also really love the Everywhere Bag for a carry-on/personal bag when I want to bring my laptop along. With the trolley sleeve, it sets nicely on top of the suitcase, and it zips all the way around so it’s easy to open and access the stuff inside

I also recommend the AWAY Packing Cubes, if you have the AWAY suitcases because they fit perfectly inside. They don’t have compression, but the one side of the AWAY suitcase is designed for compression, and I like how they keep things organized.

PACKING TIP: Always pack clothes and soft items on the side that isn’t flat. It is made for compression, and your soft things will fit around those bars and be more efficient than trying to fit hard things around them.

#3. PVC Zipper Travel Pouches ( $16.65 – $19.99) // These inexpensive bags are useful for a myriad of things — toiletries, charging cables, etc. I have both these and the Truffle Clarity Clutches, and while the Truffle brand is very nice, I don’t feel like I have to be as precious with these, and if they get too icky, I will just toss it.

#4. TUMI Bradner Nylon Tricot Laptop Backpack ($575) // This backpack is a splurge, but TUMI is the gold standard when it comes to travel bags, and this laptop backpack is so sleek and practical, perfect for the commuter or traveler. It’s especially nice for the men on your list.

#5. Portable Charger with Built-In Cables & Wall Plug ($27.99) // Every regular traveler needs a portable charger, and this is one of the best. It has a built-in Micro cable, USB C cable, and iPhone charging cable, as well as a USB port, and USB C port. It also has a built-in wall plug that charges the power bank itself directly from the wall outlet. But the best part is, it charges quickly and lasts for many hours.

#6. Ostrichpillow Go Memory Foam Travel Pillow ($60) // This versatile, comfortable travel pillow has a compressible memory-foam core and a soft, stretchy cover that’s both removable and washable. It’s designed with an adjustable hook-and-loop closure and ergonomic design, so it wraps gently around the neck, offering cushioned comfort and support no matter your proportions.

#7. FUNTOUCH Rechargeable Travel Makeup Mirror (20.99) // You know how bad hotel lighting can be, and this foldable, rechargeable mirror is the perfect solutoin. It offers white lights, warm lights, and cool lights; and it’s slim and compact – perfect for travel.

#8. T3 Dual Voltage Travel-Sized Hair Dryer ($179.99) // This is such a nice lightweight hair dryer for travel, and it’s dual voltage, so it works in Europe too. It comes in a nifty padded bag, which is nice for keeping all your haircare tools in one place.

If you want a less expensive option, this BaBylissPRO dual voltage travel dryer comes highly recommended. I decided to go with the T3 because I’ve had one before, and I know I like it.

#9. HOBO Cambel Leather Crossbody Bag ($228) // I love HOBO bags for travel and casual excursions, like amusement parks and day trips to the city. The glazed leather is classy yet durable, and they all have great organization and multiple carrying options.

This Cambel Crossbody is my current favorite. I have the Cranberry color, but the Truffle (pictured above) and Marigold are great neutrals.

#10. eBags Classic Pack-it-Flat Toiletry Kit ($27.99) // This was recommended to me by a reader. It has lots of compartments and a slim silhouette for packing. Plus, it includes hanging hook and a removable pocket mirror, and it’s very affordable.

#11. Hidden Travel Money Belt ($26.99) // This is the money belt my husband used in Italy. It’s light, comfortable, and slim, and fits easily under clothing.

#12. Truffle Clarity Jetset Cosmetics Case ($98) // I love all my Truffle cases, but this zip-around travel cosmetic/toiletry case is my favorite. I use it for my makeup, and it holds all the essentials. Plus, it opens up completely so they’re easy to access, and it has a see-through top and bottom, which makes finding what you need a breeze.

#13. Bellroy Tech Case ($59) // This sleek tech case in a sturdy coated canvas with leather trim keeps charging cords, flash drives and other tech essentials organized and contained.

#14. Sigma Beauty Essentials Trio Travel Size Brush Set ($31) // I love this travel size brush set for stashing in your purse or makeup bag, and the tubular container keeps them clean and compartmentalized so it’s easy to find them.

#15. European Travel Plug Adapter ($16.89) // This is the plug adapter we used in Italy, and it worked great. It has 2 USB-A and 1 USB Type-C charging ports, plus 1 AC outlet with max capacity up to 2500 watts, and you can charge multiple devices simultaneously without blocking one another.

Also, thanks to the nifty fold-up portable design, it takes up very little room in your bag. (We brought several, as there were 5 of us with multiple charging devices.)

#16. Carry-on Cocktail Kit ($15.54 – $89.99) // Pick his favorite cocktail, and when he gets on the plane, he’ll just need to add the spirits! Each drink kit includes the following bartender supplies: fine cocktail napkin, bar muddler spoon, bitters for cocktails, etc. (You can also buy these individually.)

Passport Case + Luggage Tag ($89) // This monogrammable passport cover and luggage tag make a nice gift for anyone who loves to travel, or perhaps a college student getting ready to travel abroad for their Spring semester! These come in many different designs, but I thought the raffia was fun.

#18. Sony Noise Cancelling Headphones ($249) // These chic headphones make sure she only hears what she wants to hear, and I love this silver color. These are lightweight and very comfortable, and I believe they come with a carrying case; mine did, although I don’t see it pictured.

They also have up to 30-hour battery life with quick charging (10 min charge for 5 hours of playback).

#19. TriPole Mini Handheld Fan ($9.99) // This USB-rechargeable handheld fan is great to have when you’re sightseeing on the hottest of days. We brought several with us to Italy, and they were definitely used!

#20. Apple AirPods Pro ($199.99)// I love that these AirPods have the noise-canceling feature, and you can turn it off when you don’t want it. I always listen to music when I fly, and it was much more enjoyable without the excess noice. You can use these with Android phones too.

#21. MZOO Sleep Eye Mask ($18.99) // I love this sleep mask because of the contoured cup design – it doesn’t put pressure right on your eyes, and you can easily blink and open your eyes while wearing it. It also comes with a drawstring pouch that keeps it cleaned and contained in your carry-on bag.

#22. iWALK Small Portable Charger ($34.99) // This portable charger is perfect for throwing in her purse to charge her smartphone while she’s out and about during the day. It’s no bigger than a tube of lipstick, but it’s more powerful than it looks.

#23. Rains Small Waterproof Toiletry Bag ($34) // A sleek waterproof toiletry bag for the minimalist, or I especially like this for the guys. The single compartment interior easily holds all his necessities.

#24. BAGSMART Toiletry Bag Travel Bag ($18.39-$23.39) // This is a great little travel toiletry bag for the women who has a lot of stuff. It keeps everything in one place, and you can hang it up in the bathroom to keep everything at the ready.

If you’re looking for a more luxe option, and one that’s slightly more compact, I have and love the TUMI version. It has a removable zipper case that you can use separately or throw in your purse.

#25. Tumi Voyageur Just in Case Packable Nylon Tote ($150) // And while we’re on Tumi products, this is the perfect spare tote bag to bring in your suitcase to bring your treasures home in. It packs neatly into a compact zip-top pouch, and when in use, it slides over the handle of your suitcase.
