We always get our prescriptions filled at CVS Pharmacy, so between the five of us, I feel like I’m there all the time. There’s probably not a week that goes by that I don’t run into a CVS store for some last minute thing, and it just got a whole lot easier with my CVS CarePass membership.
If you aren’t familiar with the CVS CarePass membership program, it’s only $5/month or $48 annually (because you get your first month free!)
Here’s what the membership includes:
- 20% off all CVS Health & Live Better products
- Monthly $10 promo reward to use in-store or online (some restrictions apply)
- FREE 1-to-2-day shipping on eligible CVS items
- FREE same-day prescription delivery
- Access to a 24/7 Pharmacist helpline
I mean, they had me at free same-day prescription delivery! And I’ll more than make up for that annual fee with the monthly $10 promo reward… not to mention the 20% off CVS Health & Live Better products.
Just a couple weeks ago, I ran over to my closest CVS store around 8PM on a Monday night to stock up on last minute travel items for our Florida trip the next day. I used my monthly $10 promo reward, plus I saved 20% off all the CVS Health & Live Better products that I put in my basket.
They have just about everything you need for toiletries and medicines in travel sizes so you don’t have to take up valuable packing room with the full sizes from home.
These CVS Health oral care travel kits are great. I like to have one of these in my carry-on bag in case of lost luggage, or if I want to freshen up when I get to my destination, so I picked up a new one for each of us.
I always grab a travel-sized shampoo and conditioner at CVS before a trip, and the travel-sized deodorant is nice to have too. Face wipes and self tanner are a must, and of course, my favorite jaw clips.
You never known when you might need allergy medicine and Pepto Bismol, and a Tide to go stain remover pen has saved my outfit many a time. Also, don’t forget Lysol wipes to disinfect your seat and tray table on the plane.
I also found a rain poncho in the travel section. These are really convenient to have at a theme park, especially in Florida, where an afternoon shower is almost a daily occurrence.
I also take a few Band-Aids in my bag wherever I go, in case of blisters, but this First Aid Kit is even better. And I was thrilled to find Paul’s favorite Dove 2-in-1 shampoo + conditioner in a convenient travel size.
All my toiletries store neatly in this convenient travel train case. I actually got this for my daughter since I already have one, but isn’t it so cute? And it ships for free with a CVS CarePass membership.
Finally, snacks! They cost a mint in the airport, so I like to pick some up at CVS to stash in my carry-on. The Gold Emblem Trail Mix is a favorite.
While it’s not a big deal to go to the store, I love that now I can get free 1-2 day shipping on so many of their products. And I’ll definitely be seeking out more of the CVS Health & Live Better products with that 20% off.
If you’re a CVS shopper and don’t already have a CVS CarePass membership, I highly recommend signing up so you can start enjoying all the benefits. I can’t believe I waited so long.
