Lessons I Learned Today. And it’s not even noon yet.

Never, ever, EVER go into Target without a cart.  E-V-E-R.  You WILL regret it.  Yes, I should know this by now.  Get off my back.

Don’t set your keys down on the counter when shopping.  It’s too easy to forget to pick them up again.  On the plus side, you can’t get far without them.

Using a credit card bill for a bookmark is not a wise idea.  Especially when bringing said book along for boredom reading while you get your oil changed.  When you leave your book behind, you have left crucial financial information behind as well.

DUH, right?

  1. So true about the cart at target. Even if you are just running in for 1 thing. You will never leave with just 1 thing!

Sounds like you are ready for the weekend ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. You’re a brave woman to try to shop without a cart :).

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve gotten to check out and realize that my wallet is in the car!! I have to tow all 3 kids back out to the car, get my wallet and come back and pay. I just don’t always like lugging my purse around so sometimes I just take my wallet, but I always forget to put it back in my purse. You’d think after 3 times I’d learn :).

  3. Yes, shopping in Target without a cart is NOT a good idea, unless you’re shopping online, and they fill the cart for you! ๐Ÿ™‚
Oh, leaving keys on counter not so good…leaving book with credit card bill inside really bad idea! ๐Ÿ™‚ We all learned our lesson for the day!
    Thanks!

  4. Thank you for posting on this…I can’t believe some of the ridiculous things that I do either…It’s nice to know I’m not alone.

  5. I’m SOOOOO with you about the Target tip! I have to PURPOSEFULLY not get a cart b/c when I do get a cart…my wallet is in trouble!

  6. Oh good gracious… it’s Friday. Well, the comment still means well:

Sounds like a Monday masquerading as a Friday.

There. Maybe your upcoming Monday will be much better.

  7. Funny I have the opposite Target theory, since for me:
CART = LESS MONEY IN WALLET!
So my little voice chants “do not get a cart, do not get a cart…”
