Sandwashed Dolman Sweatshirt

Are you guys sick of LOFT yet? Because I was totally planning to post an outfit without any LOFT pieces in it today… until I woke up and saw that they’ve upped the ante, and they’re running 50% off tops, dresses, and plus sizes. Plus, most of the rest of the store is still 40% off.

And as luck would have it,  I just so happen to have a set of outfit pictures in my queue with the cutest LOFT sandwashed dolman sweatshirt, now just $25.

I’ve had a couple of requests for winter looks for milder weather, and I’ve also had a few people ask for more casual looks with fashion sneakers, so today I’m killing two birds with one stone!

This lightweight sandwashed dolman sweatshirt is perfect for winter in warmer climates and for those of us who have reached a certain age and tend to overheat easily indoors.

It has a flattering scoop neck and the perfect slouch for throwing on with your favorite jeans and fashion sneakers.

I went with my AG raw hem legging ankle jeans (shocker!) and grey Converse Shoreline kicks.

My sneakers are the Charcoal, but they seem to be selling out. There are some Cloud Grey left, though, and Famous Footwear has a pair that’s sort of in between called Mercury Grey.

I don’t think Converse are ever out of style, but they’re definitely not as popular now as they were a few years ago — at least not this Shoreline style. I still like mine, though, and wear them often.

If I were buying new grey slip-on sneakers for this year, I’d be looking at skate sneakers. These UGGs look amazing, this Steve Madden pair is really good (I have them in pink), and the high top versions are really popular right now. For a splurge pair, the Vince slip-on sneakers have just about reached icon status, and Vionic makes a pair that would be great for those of you with finicky feet.

This top comes in watermelon pink and arctic blue. I’m a big fan of pink with denim, so I went with this color, but both are stunning hues that are sure to brighten the most dreary of winter days.

It runs true to size; for reference, I’m wearing my usual small.

For accessories, I went with smallish drop earrings and this delicate beaded necklace. These two pieces work really well together, and the hammered silver is perfect for casual wear. Alas, it appears the necklace sold out again. I hope a few of you grabbed it yesterday!

I carried a grey leather hobo to coordinate with the sneakers, and because I think grey and pink is so pretty together. Even if I’d gone with my white Converse or black booties, I would have carried this grey bag.

  1. I love the Loft posts but man their sales are killing me!! I can’t even click through today. It’s time to think of my Christmas list and not about shopping for me. Love that speckled open hoodie!😍

  2. GM! You nailed my weekend outfit. I bought the Loft sweatshirt in the spring but in a light pink and I get so many compliments when I wore it. We were going to California for vacation and I knew it would be a little cooler that time of year. I also wore some blush converse and added a grey scarf when needed. But for today I’m having to take out my heavy clow neck sweater because It’s finally cold in South Texas! Looking forward to tomorrows post and how you style the white jeans for winter.

  3. Re: bottom look — Like the grey jeans/boots/tshirt/with the upscaled hoodie jacket. Casual but hip.
Top look: Have never really liked that syle of tennies — they make my feet look huge, and always remind me of a little boy….and especially now that I know the company who owns them, will definitely not be buying them.

  4. That is such a pretty shade of pink, and it is a great color on you.  My white jeans remained in my closet for fall and winter, so I can’t wait to be inspired by your photo.  Have an awesome day!

  5. Great sale, thank you for the links!
I snagged a pair of Loft white skinny jeans last weekend at the Christiana Mall, I paid $20.49.
Now I can’t wait to see how you style them for winter!

  6. I call this outfit my “uniform”! Lol. I live in this style day in and day out and love it during the “warm” Arizona winters. I’m loving all the slip on sneaker options too.

  8. Well I just about had to chuckle since this is almost the exact outfit I wore yesterday! I think we really do share a lot of common tastes and styles. I just wish my Converse had a little arch support. 😉Have a great Tuesday! XO

  9. Love this look!  You can’t go wrong with a cute top, jeans and sneakers for everyday.  This color is so pretty and cheery for Winter.  Looking forward to FB Live, later!

  10. Are you kidding me?  Never tired of LOFT.  My go to for shopping.  Great quality for the price.  Something always on sale and their clearance is always great prices.  Great post.

  11. Loft never gets old! They have great pieces for great prices, what’s not to love? Speaking of love, this outfit! It’s exactly the type I am my most comfortable. I’m trying to be more intentional lately about making different shoe choices, but my first instinct is almost always to grab my Converse or Adidas. They are just me I guess.
