Happy Friday, friends! Cheers to the weekend! This week has flown for me, but I’m ready to kick back and relax for a bit. We’ve been having some rain and cooler temperatures for the past couple of days, but it’s supposed to warm up and be sunny for most of the weekend so YAY!
Today I’m sharing a casual outfit I wore when we were in Savannah last weekend.
This outfit was actually inspired by these sandals. I saw them on another blogger earlier in the season and immediately fell in love. I’m already a huge fan of the Tory Burch Miller Sandals; I have them in white and sand patent. They’re comfortable and classy, and they go with everything. When I saw the new fringe style with the orange and pink combination, it was love at first sight.
I held off on the purchase because the price tag is a bit steep, but then Bloomingdale’s ran a surprise sale a few weeks ago, and I was delighted to see that these weren’t excluded (because the Miller sandals often are.) I snagged them for 30% off, and I’ve been waiting anxiously for the chance to wear them, so of course they came with me to Savannah! (They run true to size.)
The sandals are no longer on sale, but if you’re part of the Bloomingdale’s Lloyalist rewards program, they are currently running one of their promotions where you can get a $25 reward card on every $100 you purchase, so that would be $50 back on the purchase of these Miller Fringe Sandals.
It’s free to sign up, and as a Lloyalist you also get free shipping and returns on all orders with no minimum purchase, plus you get rewards points on everything you buy at Bloomingdale’s that add up and earn you $25 reward cards for every 5000 points. Just like Nordstrom, they have opportunities throughout the year to earn double and triple points, and if you’re a card holder, you earn points faster.
A lot of my outfits come together when I happen to see pieces sitting next to each other in my closet. I’ve had this orange scoopneck linen tee (it’s actually called Geo Red, but it looks more orange than red to me) hanging on my clothing rack for a while. When I saw it near my new sandals, I immediately knew I wanted to wear them together.
They’d be cute with blue jeans, but I like the crisp combination of the orange with my white distressed skinnies. I love how the sandals elevate this basic look and pull it all together.
For size reference, I have the medium in this tee, and the Geo Red is on sale for $21.99. I tried a small, but it was to tight, so if you are in between sizes as I am, you will probably want to go with the larger.
These jeans are 25% off at Bloomingdale’s right now with code FRIENDS, so it’s a great time to splurge if they’ve been on your wish list. I love them. They have the perfect amount of distressing, and the released hem is on trend and adds to the casual vibe.
White jeans tend to look dressy, so I think the distressing on these helps keep the look more casual but still crisp, and I like the texture it adds to an outfit. These jeans are nice and thick and not see-through, but I did go up a size so they aren’t too tight through the thighs. I’m in shape, but I still have some jiggly bits that I don’t want showing through. That is probably TMI, but I’m just keeping it real!
Since this is just a simple t-shirt and jeans outfit, I wanted to add a few elements to jazz it up a bit. The sandals are a fun, whimsical touch, and I also added my large gold monogram necklace and a stack of Alex and Ani beaded bangles. I finished off the look with my favorite aviators and my white saddlebag.

And it’s Friday, so that means linkup day! If you have a fashion blog, I’d love for you to join us. If you’re here for your weekly dose of style inspiration, you’ll find plenty of that here. Have a beautiful weekend!
