This Try-On Haul is going to be a two-parter. I tried on a bunch of things at the mall yesterday, but I didn’t have time to prep those pictures for today’s post. Rather than put off the entire post until tomorrow, I’m sharing what I tried on at home this week, and tomorrow I’ll post my try-ons from the mall.
I’ve got a new 5 Ways to Wear series in the works and this one features a wardrobe classic — black cigarette pants. For this series, I’m going to post every Thursday for the next five weeks. That way it won’t get quite so redundant, and I can still give each outfit a full post.
As I’ve been focusing more on quality over quantity this year, I’ve had some requests for a post about what distinguishes a low-quality garment from a high-quality one, so here we are! Today we’re talking about what goes into the making of a higher quality garment, and how to tell the difference.
It’s that time of year! Everywhere I turn, someone is talking about prioritizing wellness, establishing healthy habits, and shedding a few holiday pounds… and I’m here for it. The social events are over, the busyness is behind me, and I’m excited to wholeheartedly embrace wellness in 2020.
Who’s ready to talk 2020 spring fashion trends??? I’m in full-on winter mode here and spring isn’t even a twinkle in my eye, but I had some requests during last week’s Facebook Live to talk about what’s ahead for spring, so I did some research and this is what I came up with!
Well, we survived our first week with Caroline as a licensed driver! Plus, our kitchen project is moving right along, I got my eyebrows microbladed this week, and Paul and I saw Phil Phillips in concert last night. I’m sharing about all of that in today’s Coffee Talk.
You guys, I’m getting all out of whack with my scheduling. These posts are supposed to go up every other Wednesday, but I’ve been working for hours on a post for today, and it is nowhere near finished. So! I am going to drop back and punt… as my mom used to say.
This post is a little different… but I get asked from time to time what my typical day looks like, and I thought it would be fun to write a post about “a day in the life.” Now, don’t go expecting anything exciting or glamorous. My job has some cool perks, but at the end of the day, it’s just a job.
Hi, I’m Jo-Lynne! I’m the girlfriend who keeps you in the know with the latest trends, the best sales, and wearable everyday outfits for the modern woman... because friends don't let friends wear mom jeans.
