Spring Finds Under $100 #FashionFriday

Greetings, and TGIF!

While we continue to wait for spring to arrive, I decided to round up some Spring Finds Under $100. Some of these I have and love, and others I recently found and think you might like.

Spring Finds Under $100

one // I have high hopes for this split cuff sweater. It comes in 4 color choices, but I was initially drawn to the white. I love to have a few white tops for spring to pair with my colored denim, plus white looks great with regular denim as well — especially the lighter indigo shades that are trending this season. Bonus, it’s 50% off today! Shop all LOFT sale items here.

two // These trendy wedge sandals come in blush patent and cognac leather, and I can’t decide which I like better. I know some of you don’t wear heels, so #6 and #7 are for you!

three // I was introduced to this lip balm at Nordstrom a few weeks ago. It’s really cool because it reacts to the unique chemistry of your lips to enhance their natural color while leaving them soft and moisturized. I have the Pink Glow.

four // Vigoss is one of my favorite non-premium denim brands. They have a really nice fit, and they do a great job with the wash for the price point. This pair has a flattering 29″ inseam and 10″ leg opening with a comfortable 9″ front rise.

five // This is my all-time favorite facial cleanser, and it’s on a rare 25% off sale right now! Stock up for your own personal use, and while you’re at it, buy some to give as gifts to the beauty-conscious women in your life.

six // These traditional canvas espadrille flats are a must-have for your summer wardrobe. I kind of want a pair in every color.

seven // Slides are all the rage this season, and this pair comes in a bunch of great neutrals plus a really pretty shade of pink suede. Leather sandals for $29.95 are hard to pass up! I ordered nude and gold.

eight // I love a summer sweater, and Lucky Brand does them so well. This pointelle poncho comes in a pretty dusty blue as well as the creamy white pictured above. Since women’s tops are BOGO 50% off today, I also ordered this floral wrap top.

nine // For a handbag under $100, this crossbody saddle bag is really nice looking. I’m partial to the white, but it also comes in blush and black, AND it’s 15% off today (20% off with a L&T card.)

ten // This openwork layer necklace is one of my favorites for dressing up a casual t-shirt and jeans, and it’s 30% off right now! You can also take it apart and wear a few of the strands without all four if you want, although I always just wear it all together. See how I’ve styled this necklace here and here.

I hope that was fun! I actually ended up ordering quite a few of these myself. #occupationalhazard I’ll let you know how they work out for me when they arrive. Now if spring would just decide to make an appearance, we’d be good to go!

  1. Great finds! I ordered some flat espadrilles recently and I think they’ve arrived at my house, but alas I”m out of town. They’re in a soft brushed denim. Can’t wait to try them.

Thanks again for the shout out on Facebook. Girl, you’ve got some influence! Just saying…

  2. I’ve been wanting to try a new cleanser so I just ordered the one you recommended. Thanks so much, I look forward to trying it!

  3. Uggh. -16C with a wind chill that makes it -26C. Will winter ever end!! Thanks for continuing to feature Spring fashions – I have hope that one day spring will arrive here! 🙂 PS I LOVED that navy flowered dress on you. It is fantastic! I already have a dress for my son’s grad this year, but I was thinking that one might be good too!

  4. Love the ‘finds under $100″ post! Just saw the Steve Madden bag is on sale at Macy’s for $38…wanted to let you know.

  5. I LOVE the Dior lip glow I keep one with me all the time. My favorite thing about it is that it stains your lips a bit so you still have some color even after the balmy part starts to fade away (I’m kinda lazy about reapplying lip products LOL!). I have both the lilac color and the berry color and they’re both great. I just realized this week that they’re both down to a nub. I’m holding out for the Sephora VIB spring event later this month to reorder.

Those wedges are terrific! I’ve been looking for some like these that are more of a true sandal with the open heel. Unfortunately, I think these are a wee bit high for me since I’d prefer some that are a touch lower so I can wear them all day. Ones this height are only bearable for a couple of hours. 🙂

  6. You’ve found so many great things. I really like the white sweater and will have to try out those jeans. I’m always looking for good quality, budget friendly jeans.

  7. Vigoss jeans are some of my favorites. I love a good espadrille wedge with a tall platform at the toe. You get the look of a high heel with the comfort of a low heel/flat feel. I think they are great for women who don’t like to wear heels! Happy weekend!!!

  8. Hi Jolynn, thanks for great post! I love the blush color shoes. So pretty! Can you do a post with ideas for what a Mom should wear to her child’s high school graduation and maybe ideas for a cute outfit for the party. I need to shop but don’t know how dressy I need to be. Thanks!

    1. Hey Deborah, I think it is largely dependent on your area of the country and the culture of your community. Ours is fairly casual as I live in an area that’s more rural/suburban, and a lot of the parties are backyard BBQ type of events. That said, I’m going to wear something like the dress I wore on Easter – in fact, I may just wear that one again. 🙂 https://rstyle.me/~is-an3vZ_4TttACHS1hK

If you’re in the south or an area where people tend to dress up more, I’d definitely go with something you’d wear to church. I hope that helps!

  9. Love all 10! Thanks for all your spring fashion ideas. Still sweater weather here. I’m looking at the Madewell Whisper Cotton V-Neck Pocket Tees that are on sale. How is the fit on those? Do they run small or shrink? I think you had a medium instead of small white one when you did your white tee post. The only thing I have from Madewell is the Inland Rolled Neck Sweater in large from this winter. Thanks!

  10. I got mine microbladed a couple months ago, and my touch up is in about 2 weeks. I love it!!!!!! I have sparse, thick (the actual hairs, not the brows themselves), and coarse eyebrows. It would take me so long to fill them in just right, while still looking natural. Once one of my brow hairs’ cycle was up and it’d fall out, it would literally leave me with a tiny bald spot because of how the individual hairs are. 🙁

  11. I just ordered both pair of the flats from Nordstrom! I’m excited to see how they look and feel. Thanks for featuring them! 🙂

  12. Hi! I had a quick question for you. I am having trouble finding tall boots with a narrow calf that aren’t outrageously priced. I thought it might be easier in the spring to find them, but I’m just not having any luck. Any suggestions? Thank you!

  13. I got those same jeans in a Stitch Fix box and I really like them. They fit great and don’t stretch out when I wear them. Love the floral Lucky top too. I’m really loving all the pretty floral tops that are out now.

  14. You might want to talk to Cyndi Spivey about the microblading. I believe its what she did and LOVED the results.  It is hard the older we get to have nice, defined brows and with my eyes going, its hard to get them done right myself. 🙂 LOL  Oh the aging process huh?  Glad you are feeling better and you got off to a good start this morning. I really enjoy your blog post and really appreciated you getting back to me on the sunscreen deal.  Have a good time tomorrow with all your activities.

  15. LOVE YOUR FINDS!! What place are you getting the microblading done? I have been wanting to have this done for so long, but do not want to drive hours to find a place. Please recommend! Thank you!

    1. Le at Currie in Wayne, PA has come highly recommended to me, and I liked her. I do wonder if I should consult with one other before making my final decision, tho.

  16. All great finds!  #2 and #10 really catch my eye.  The blush color in #2 is really popular this spring.  It matches your blush denim jacket.  I bought the necklace #10 when you showed it a few months ago.  It is gorgeous and goes a lot of places.  It has matching earrings and bracelet, both of which I now have.  The necklace does tangle easily when packed in a travel bag so I prefer to wear it.  But wearing it is what I am supposed to do with a necklace that pretty.

  17. I’m so sorry but I’ve gone back to find the email reply from you when I asked you the chemical free sunscreen question and can’t find it anywhere.  Is there a way you could forward back to me?  Again, sorry for this.

    1. Here it is:

There are two kinds of sun protection. Chemical sunscreens are what you typically see at the drugstore, and they are the ones that rub in easily. The alternative is a mineral sunblock made with zinc oxide or titanium dioxide, which do not penetrate the surface of the skin. That is why they are white, they basically coat the skin and “block” the sun. Popular mineral sunblocks that I see recommended a lot are the Badger brand and California Baby. I have used both on my kids — they hate them. In recent years, as my kids are older and not as likely to cooperate with that stuff, I have been using one of the COOLA sprays: https://rstyle.me/n/c2xfg8gthw although they are $$$ and don’t last long. I’m going to order some of their cream this year.

You can always check here: https://www.ewg.org/skindeep and my friend Katie keeps this post up to date every year. She has done wayyyy more research than I have: https://www.kitchenstewardship.com/natural-mineral-sunscreen-reviews/

  18. A few questions. 1. On the lip balm.  Could you show us what it looks like on your Tues. Facebook live? 2. Does the face cleanser have a perfume smell? I have trouble with smells, but have wanted to try this face cleanser. Cyndi S. loves it too.  Its spendy, so if I try it, would like to catch the sale if its still on. 3. When you receive the slide sandals, could you let us know if they are hard to keep on?   Great post.  🙂

    1. Sure, happy to show the lip balm on my Facebook Live.

The face cleanser has a wonderful scent. It’s my favorite part. I hate perfumey products, but it smells so fresh – like the spa.

The slide sandals are super easy to keep on. They’re great for those of us with flatter/thinner feet. 🙂

  19. These are fabulous finds. I think my favorite are the wedges, so chic and comfy.
