Today I’m styling a hot pink linen tank with crop jeans and metallic sandals for an effortless summertime look that’s both chic and comfortable.

Hot pink is one of my favorite colors for summer, and while I often wear it with white for a crisp contrast, it also looks great paired with denim.

These straight crop jeans are by Kut from the Kloth, and I really like the subtle texture. They have a straight leg and a wide hem, which gives them that great summertime vibe.

I’m often asked the difference between crop pants and ankle-length pants. These are a true crop — the hem is a good two or three inches above my ankle bone, but they’re still long enough to cover the widest part of my calf.

These jeans have a 24 1/2″ inseam and a comfortable 9 1/2″ front rise, and they run a little big; I sized down to a 4. I found them at Nordstrom, but there are more sizes on the Kut from the Kloth website.

This linen tank is the perfect topper to the crop jeans. It has a slub texture, and it’s so light and airy and comfortable on the hottest of summer days.

It has a straight, split hem, which is perfect for front-tucking, and I really like the cut of the neckline and the subtle trim around the neck and sleeves.

I also appreciate how it’s cut around the arms; so many tank tops show my bra, but this one provides great coverage. This top runs true to size, and it also comes in a light pink.

Unfortunately, it’s low inventory. I’ve looked everywhere, and I can’t find it anywhere else. There are more sizes available in the light pink.

For accessories, I wore a pendant necklace that fits perfectly in the v-neckline, and I would have added earrings and a bracelet, but I forgot all my jewelry at home. #fashionbloggerfail

My sunnies are the Maui Jims I’ve been wearing for the past few years, and they’re still available at Zappo’s.

The oversized cat eye style is one of my favorites, and I really like these grey/black tortoise frames. Plus, the neutral grey lenses enhance your view as only Maui Jim can do, and they’re polarized to protect your peepers.

Metallic sandals are a nice way to elevate the look and still keep it casual.
