Striped Sweater Tank Outfit

I fell in love with this striped sweater tank the second I saw it on the Loft website, and YAY, it's 40% off right now!!! Besides the bold black and white stripes, I also really like the wide straps and square neckline in both the front and back. I wore this sweater to church on Sunday with the same white jeans, my red espadrilles, and a black bag; but for this look I switched it around and wore black sandals and carried a red bag.

WORK TO WEEKEND: Pink Chiffon Blouse Two Ways

It's been about a minute since I styled white jeans so I thought I'd share this look today. I know, I way overwear this summer staple, but they are the perfect base for so many outfits. While this blouse looks great with dark denim and lighter wash styles, I love how the white base brings out the white in the pattern and makes the pink all the more vibrant. I also styled this blouse with white shorts for a more casual weekend look.

Summer Date Night Look

Now that our kids are older and can be by themselves for a few hours, Paul and I often go out to dinner as a way to get out of the house... and to save me from having to cook! Working from home most of the time, I don't have a reason to get gussied up very often so I like to use these date nights as an opportunity dress up a bit. This floral off-the-shoulder top is a perfect example of what I look for in a "date night top" -- it's flirty and fun and a step above the tops I typically wear to run errands around town.
