HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Good morning, and Happy Thanksgiving to those of you here in the U.S. celebrating today!

I just wanted to pop in real quick before I start baking pies and prepping Thanksgiving dinner to tell you all how very much I appreciate each and every one of you. I seriously cannot believe how many women tune in every day as I prattle on about fashion and my daily comings and goings.

I realize, though, that this is so much more than a fashion blog; it’s also a community. I love to see you guys interacting with each other in the comments, and the support you give me on a daily basis is downright humbling at times.

It is always at the very moment when I’m feeling overwhelmed by inadequacy and insecurity that I will receive an email from someone telling me what a difference this blog has made in her life — which is always kind of surreal because I really don’t think I do anything terribly important here. But I do pour my heart and soul into this space, and I can tell that many of you see that and respond in kind, and I appreciate it more than you know.

I am so grateful for this you guys and this space, and also for the blessings of family, health, and good friends.

I realize that not everyone is in a place to feel especially thankful today. Perhaps you’re going through rough times, you’ve lost a loved one, your marriage is crumbling, your kids are struggling… whatever it is, I hope you can find something to rejoice about today and that you get to spend some quality time with family and friends.

Thank you all for tuning in once again, and have a lovely Thanksgiving day!!!

  4. Today I am thankful for many things and one of them in you and your blog and the community you have created, Jo-Lynne. I’ve had a very difficult year, suffering the sudden loss of my two best friends in the world, my husband and my mom. My life has been so full of changes I haven’t welcomed that I look forward each day to your blog. I love the fashion forum, but I also love the positive attitude you bring into my life and that of others every day.

  5. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family Jo-Lynne!  It is an honor and a privilege to be part of this group.  I think you do a fabulous job with this blog, you help me to want to put more effort in my appearance, especially on the days I am staying home.  You are such an inspiration and blessing in so many ways.

  6. Thank you, Jolynne, for your talents and willingness to share them with us all!  You give me ties to the area I called home when young. I miss Philly, the Jersey shore, the seasons, my family.  You are my “on-site” daughter.  And since my non-local (midAtlantic)  daughter doesn’t think much about fashion and I do, I have adopted you as my “fashion-counsel” daughter.   You’re the best!   Blessings on you and your family.

  7. Oh my! That was beautiful. I am tearing up..no, that’s a lie…I actually totally cried.. Lol..
    Have a lovely weekend.????

  8. Happy Thanksgiving, Jo-Lynne! I hope you and your family have a blessed and wonderful day. My two kids are celebrating Thanksgiving together in Columbus, Ohio, where my son lives. James and I are volunteering at the Salvation Army and then going to a restaurant for our dinner. Life changes!! But we are very happy and content. And the kids are coming home for Christmas! ????????????

  9. Happy Thanksgiving! One of the things I am thankful for is that you and Cyndi started the Facebook group that has brought all these wonderful ladies into my life and if we have a prayer request we can ask here and know we will have prayers lifted! Thank you ALL so much!

  10. Happy thanksgiving. We do appreciate you & your blog. I’m older than most of you but find so much that I can wear that you share. SOMETIMES With A Little adjustment. as I’ve said many times you are real.

  13. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family. Enjoy that football game on this sunny, crisp day. I’m sure it will be emotional for you!!
I also enjoy your blog every morning with my coffee. Since I live in your area, I always enjoy your weather reports, “on-location” photo shoots, and shopping sprees at the Outlets or KOP Mall. You are a sweet person, willing to share your life and faith with all of us, it brings a smile to my heart each day. God bless!!!!

  14. Happy Thanksgiving, Jo-Lynne!  Have a fun time with your family. I do hope you get some time to just relax, as well. You put your heart and soul into your posts and I want you to know that we appreciate you. Opening your post in the morning with my first coffee of the day just seems to start it off right. It’s kinda like saying good morning to a good friend before I’m off and running. ????

  15. Happy Thanksgiving to you & your family! Your blog is always a bright spot in my day–I typically read it while sitting at my desk on my lunch break & I really do look forward to it. Hope you & your family have a wonderful holiday!

  17. Hi JoLynne,
Happy Thanksgiving to you too! I hit 50 two years ago and found your blog some time around then. When I feel out of date and frumpy, your blog has given me the info I’ve needed to at least feel “presentable” and more, thx!! Your words above choked me up, as I’ve found in my menopausal years, I need my girlfriends more than ever. Thank for just always doing a spot on job! Blessings to you!

  18. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!  I am a daily prescriber, but I don’t come t often ????.  Thank you for being REAL and sharing yourself with us!  You are a beautiful example of a Godly woman, who loves fashion like some of us do! ????. Thanks for being REAL!!

  19. Jo-Lynne- You touch so many and I look forward to your posts each and every time! As I’ve said before, I appreciate you being so true to yourself and therefore, having that attribute shine through in your posts and your FB live!! I learn so much here! Enjoy your day with family and friends and may you be truly blessed by God’s wonderful bounty!!

  20. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family. You put your heart and soul into each of your posts. I feel better about myself and my appearance since following your blog. I know people look at me weird when I talk about making friends on a blog but they don’t understand the caring group of women that you have brought together. It started with fashion and it has evolved into much more than originally intended. Thank you Jolynne

  21. Happy Thanksgiving! Hope you had a wonderful day with the fam. I’m sure I speak for many when I say we are thankful for you as well! We can see how much you put into this blog, and it is always appreciated!

  22. Jo-Lynne, thank you for all that you do to help this group, especially me, to stay in style! Of all the blogs I read daily, I always leave yours for last as I truly believe that I am leaving the best for last. Enjoy your weekend of family and friends.
