The Obligatory First Day of School Photos

Packed up and ready to go…

Assume the position…

Humoring the mother…

Brotherly love…

That’s enough, Mom…

Not another one…

And they’re off!

And now the mommas party. I’m off to breakfast! Have a great day, y’all.

  1. Heh at least your kids look semi-happy enough to go to school. My son kicked and screamed the whole way then tried to leave when we did. xD

  2. Enjoy your morning!! (And, for the record, I’m totally jealous, again, that your daughter can get away with wearing jeans on the first day of school. It’s still WAY too hot for jeans here in SC.)

  3. Well, you got what you wished for–some good b2s picchas!!

Mine? Weren’t so good…the teen set doesn’t see their value. Until I posted it on Facebook and they wanted to re-take ’em on the SECOND day of school!!! ha! Mama wins??

(You look fabulous, too, btw!) Enjoy you’re breakfast out!

  4. Yay for the first day of school! They look great. And how is it that you look so great so early in the morning?!?!? 🙂 The party, I’m guessing.

  5. Great pictures! You are the 2nd mom who has a neighborhood back to school breakfast, what a great idea. I also love that your kids start back the day after labor day. My kids school started on the 30th and doesn’t have air conditioning. I wish they were just starting now.

  6. When did they become adults? Honestly. Last time I saw them they were teeny. They should be headed to jobs, not school. And look, I have become that old person who is shocked that kids grow.

  7. It is our duty as mummys throughout the world to force our kids to endure these photo opportunities – and you did your duty well!

Mine were photo’d and dispatched to school last week, except no yellow buses here. We actually all walked on the first day, but that enthusiasm wont last long!

  8. What great pictures. I was very proud of myself for not stalking Johnny while he walked himself to the bus stop. He wouldn’t let me take any pictures, so I guess I’ll have to live vicariously through you!

  9. Great pictures – my youngest would not cooperate so I just video’d her antics so at least I have the memories of her running and hiding lol
