Try-On Haul // What I Wore

Happy Saturday, friends! I’ve had quite a few requests for the return of my Saturday Try On Hauls, so here we are!

This is a mix of try-ons and what I’ve been wearing because I don’t have a ton of either, and they’re all pretty much mirror selfies. I know, I’m really going all out with the quality photography, folks!

I got a new box from Trunk Club this week, plus the Bloomingdale’s Friends & Family Sale just launched, I tried on a few things at Nordstrom one day, and I’ve got some Loft try-ons and a dress from Ann Taylor. Then I’m sharing some of my recent outfits.

Let’s start with the try-ons.

April Try On Haul: Nordstrom, Bloomingdale’s, LOFT, Ann Taylor & Trunk Club

For size reference, I’m 5’5″ and between 135-140 lbs. I’m short-waisted with an hourglass shape, and I typically wear 6 or 8 in pants (28 or 29 in Euro sizing) and a size small in tops. Jackets can go either way — small or medium, and I usually wear a size 8 shoe. All descriptions and sizing info are BELOW the pictures.

Sanctuary Countryside Remix Tee (size medium) // I ordered this top because I love my Sanctuary Uptown Tee, and I thought it would be another fun option to have in my closet this spring and summer. I don’t think I like this as much as the Uptown Tee because it’s so long, but it is pretty. I especially like the back detail.

also wearing: AG The Farrah Skinny Ankle Jeans with Tory Burch Minnie Travel Ballet Flats

MOTHER Looker Ankle Fray Skinny Jeans in Love Gun (size 29) // This is a new brand to me, but they have a great reputation for premium denim, and when I saw this pair on sale, I decided to try it. They are the closest jeans I’ve found to my AG legging ankle jeans with the ripped knee that I’ve worn absolutely to death over the past three years.

They’re incredibly comfortable right out of the box, and the fit is fantastic. I don’t like the wash QUITE as much as the AGs, but I like everything else about them. Also, they’re 25% off at Bloomingdale’s through 4/14/19. If you love AG legging ankle jeans, you will probably love these.

also wearing: Everlane The Soft Cotton V-Neck (size small) with Sam Edelman Laurna Mules (on sale!! size down half)

Sanctuary Ella Striped Linen Tee (size small) // I love this top for a springtime basic that will go with so many things. The longer arm style seems to be trending, and it’s nice for those of us who don’t love our upper arms.

This is your typical Sanctuary quality — nice fabric, good drape, and a few special details like the split v-neck that elevates it above a basic tee. I’m wearing a small, for reference, and this top is 25% off at Bloomingdale’s.

Sanctuary Cargo Jogger Pants (size medium) // Also at Bloomgindale’s, and included in their 25% off Friends & Family Sale, I ordered 3 pairs of cargo pants to try.

Cargo pants are trending again this season, with the utility trend being all the rage, and I’ve always been a fan so I’m glad to see they’re back. This pair combines the cargo style with a jogger, which makes them extra trendy. Two trends for the price of one!

They’re cute, I guess, but hold on because I have two more pairs to show you…

PAIGE Mayslie Slim Cargo Pants (size 29) // Sorry, these pictures are getting grainy because the order arrived late yesterday afternoon and I didn’t have much daylight left.

I really like this pair; the material is a bit heavier and darker than the Sanctuary pair. These are more comfortable too, for some reason. They may have a bit more stretch than the Sanctuary pair. I feel like they’re slightly more flattering as well — especially from the rear view.

also wearing: Steve Madden Pointed Slip-On Mules (on sale for $48.30 with code FRIENDS)

Joie Okana Skinny Cargo Pants (size 29) // Aaaaaand leave it to me to like the priciest pair best. I’ve actually had my eye on these Joie cargo pants for a while, but I didn’t want to pay the pricetag. When I saw them on sale, I couldn’t resist at least trying them. That’s when I discovered the other two pairs.

I think I prefer the non-jogger style. It’s more classic and a little more me. I didn’t think I’d like the pockets on the thighs, but I actually don’t mind them, and I think these pants are super flattering. As you can see above, I tried a few different shoe options for the fun of it.

Would you all be interested in a 3 ways to style cargo pants post???

Vince Camuto Cuffed Shorts (size 6) // These are nice if you’re looking for a pair if classy dress-up shorts. The material is nice and thick, and they don’t seem like they would wrinkle too easily. I know it’s hard to see the details due to the awful lighting and the fact that they’re black, so maybe look at them more closely on the website if you’re interested. They also come in white. I find them true to size.

These shorts have a 5″ inseam, so they’re a nice mid-length for those of us who like that style. They look very polished and classy, and you could easily wear them with wedge sandals for a dressier look. These shorts are also 25% off at Bloomingdale’s.

also wearing: Sanctuary Ella Striped Linen Tee and similar espadrilles

Caslon Dolman Sleeve Tee // I stopped into Nordstrom one day and tried on a few things. I thought this top would be cuter on than it is. Ha! I like it in theory, but it’s kind of tight at the bottom and too big at the top. It’s also very long. I’m wearing a size small, and I don’t think sizing down to an XS would help because it would be too tight at the bottom. All that to say, it didn’t come home with me.

Caslon Linen Pants // I’m not a big fan of this style of pant, but they’re such a good option for spring and summer, so I decided to try them. They’re verrrry long on me. The smalls were too tight in the tush, so I’m wearing a medium. Both were too long, though.

If I loved the fit, I’d have them hemmed, but since I prefer pants that are more fitted in the thighs, I left them in the store. The quality is nice, and the price is pretty good, so if you need a pair of pants like this, they’re worth a try. These have a 32″ inseam, for your reference, and the petite version has a 29″ inseam.

J.Crew New Perfect Fit Tee (size medium) // I like the material and the cut of this shirt a lot. It’s thicker and more form-fitting than most tees that are out right now, but somehow they do it without it looking matronly. I also really like the longer arm length.

That said, I’m not a huge fan of the crewneck. I do wear it sometimes, but in this case, I think I’d prefer a scoop or a v-neck, or even a boatneck style.

Caslon Linen Pants (size medium) // I’m not a big fan of this style of pant, but they’re such a good option for spring and summer, so I decided to try them. They’re verrrry long on me. The smalls were too tight in the tush, so I’m wearing a medium. Both were too long, though. (These have a 32″ inseam, and the petite version has a 29″ inseam.)

If I loved the fit, I’d have them hemmed, but since I prefer pants that are more fitted in the thighs, I left them in the store. The quality is nice, and the price is pretty good, so if you need a pair of pants like this, they’re worth a try.

Halogen Wide Leg Crop Pants (size small) // I asked my Trunk Club stylist to send me some cropped pants to try along with some tops that work with them. I wasn’t impressed with these. The way the bow sits right on my belly, where I tend to carry some extra weight just doesn’t seem to do anything for me.

R Taylor Celina Silk Top (size 6) // This top is GORG-OUS but it’s also pricey and I know i wouldn’t get the cost per wear out of it, as I tend to dress casually 95% of the time. If I worked in an office setting that would justify R Taylor prices, I’d keep it in a hot minute.

Louise et Cie Kaitlee Ankle Strap Sandals (size 8) // These sandals are super comfortable, and they have some really interesting details. I love the texture provided by the interlinked straps and the bold architectural block heel. Unfortunately I didn’t get a good up-close shot of them, but you can see more of them on the Nordstrom website. I’m tempted to keep these. I can see them being very versatile in my closet this spring and summer. They run TTS; I’m wearing the 8.

Billabong x Sincerely Jules Can’t We Wide Leg Pants (size 29) // I don’t think any explanation is necessary as to why I’m returning these pants, ha! But every time I say that, someone asks why, so… they’re very thin and see-through. That’s the main reason. I like the striped print in theory. I also didn’t love the quality.

Vince Camuto Karika Cage Sandals (size 8) // Now these I like, but I think I’d prefer them in a different color — maybe the black. They run slightly large; I’m wearing the 8, but I’d prefer to size down to a 7.5. In the past, I’ve found that necessary with this brand.

I just checked, and they’re available in black in 7.5, so I’m going to exchange them. I’ll report back!

Hinge Print Wide Leg Crop Pants (size small) // So these are the closest I’ve come to finding wide legged crop pants I like, but after playing around with these on my Insta Story and polling the Insta-peeps, I’m more convinced than ever that they’re just not a flattering silhouette for my body type. Does that mean I’ll never wear them? I never say never… but I think these are going back for now.

I did get a TON of feedback, and it was extremely mixed. Some people love them on me, some hate them on me, some think they’re not good for me, but work for other body types… it was really interesting to read the responses.

also wearing: J.Crew New Perfect Fit Tee with Vince Camuto Leera Wedge Sandals

LOFT Bell Cuff Button Front Blouse (size small) // I ordered a few things from Loft during one of their recent promotions. This shirt is bee-youuu-teee-ful. I absolutely adore the color, and it has such a pretty neckline. The bell cuffs are an interesting detail, and yeah. I can’t say enough good things about it.

My only hesitation is the long sleeves. I mean, it’s perfect for the chilly spring weather we’ve been having, but warmer temperatures are right around the corner, and then I won’t feel like wearing this anymore until next year, so I’m conflicted.

There are only a couple sizes left, and it’s 40% off today!

LOFT Striped Tie Hem Button Down Tee (size small) // I had high hopes for this top, but it’s a little tight. In my experience, LOFT tees shrink a lot, so I think I need to size up to a medium. That said, it’s really soft and comfortable to wear. It’s on the thinner side, but not enough to bother me. It also comes in blue and yellow, and it’s 40% off today!

also wearing: Good American Good Legs High Waist Skinny Jeans and Vince Camuto Slingback Platform Sandals (35% off!)

Kut from the Kloth Donna Ankle Skinny Jeans (size 29) / These are pretty good for white jeans! I’ve been trying a lot lately, and for the price, I think these are a great find. They’re thicker than most and have a comfortable 9″ front rise. The inseam is 27″ which I’m noticing becoming more popular in “ankle jeans” lately. It used to be that ankle jeans had 28 or 29 inch inseams.

I like this 27 inch inseam for shoes with a higher vamp — such as these sneakers. When i wear my jeans with 28″ inseam, they hit the top of the shoe, whereas these allow some ankle to show, which is more flattering.

also wearing: LOFT Striped Tie Hem Button Down Tee (size small) with Veja Esplar sneakers (size 8)

LOFT Floral Tie Cuff Peplum Top (size 6) // This top is super adorable — I love the fit, the tie cuff sleeve detail, the contrasting buttons, the peplum… I love it all. SO flattering, at least for those of us who need some structure through the midsection.

I will say that it is slightly too long for my short-waisted figure. I have to stand up verrrry straight for it not to bulge above the waist. I think a tailor could make it perfect, though. Also, this top is 40% off today!

also wearing: Good American Good Legs High Waist Skinny Jeans and Vince Camuto Slingback Platform Sandals (35% off!)

LOFT Floral Side Shirred Dress (size small) // I would love this dress if it were about two inches longer. I wish they made tall sizes at Loft. (Not that 5’5″ is tall, but their dresses tend to run very short.) Otherwise it’s flattering, the material feels nice, and it’s 30% off.

LOFT Paisley Henley Mixed Media Shell (size small) // This is another pretty floral shell from Loft that is beautiful paired with white, grey, pink, or blue jeans. (See it below with pink jeans.) It’s long so I did the front-tuck. It would also look nice with a denim jacket or cardigan on top, and it’s 40% off today.

also wearing: Kut from the Kloth Donna Ankle Skinny Jeans with similar espadrilles

Lucky Brand Ava Skinny Jeans in Jazzy Pink (size 29) // These jeans went on mega sale and promptly sold out at Nordstrom, but I found them at Macy’s, which is I guess who Nordstrom was price matching. For $41, they’re really a steal! They’re also at Zappo’s and Amazon, but not on sale.

These jeans are thicker than most and very flattering. They seem to run bigger than other Lucky Brand jeans I’ve tried. I’m wearing the 29, and I could use the 28.

Eileen Fisher Lee Espadrille Flat (size 8.5) // I recently picked these up when shopping at Nordstrom, and they are so lightweight ad comfortable. They’re leather lined so great quality, a little splurgier than some, but I think they’re worth the price if you will wear them a lot. You’ll see more of these in a post this week.

also wearing: LOFT Paisley Henley Mixed Media Shell

Ann Taylor Houndstooth Ponte Pocket Shift Dress (size 6) // And finally, this dress came from Ann Taylor yesterday so I tried it on real quick by the light of the moon. Ha! It was getting dark out so I tried to lighten these pictures with my iPhone, and they’re really grainy.

I thought I was going to love this dress, but it falls short — or long, really, ha! It’s just not that flattering — or too big. I ordered the 6 and 8, and I threw this one on without looking at the tags. I assumed this was the 8 because of how roomy it was, but when I took it off and checked, it was indeed the 6. I mean, vanity sizing much???

I may order the 4, out of curiosity. Typically Ann Taylor makes a quality garment and it should fit better, so I’m assuming it’s a sizing issue. But it’s also a shift, which tends to have less structure through the waist, so maybe it’s supposed to fit this way? If so, it’s a hard pass for me.

What I Wore This Week (and last)

In no particular order, these were my outfits over the last week or so.

I wore this one day to go to the dentist and run errands at the mall. This sweater is super soft and cozy, and I love the boatneck and the details in the knit.

Banana Republic Aire Boat-Neck Sweater (size small) // AG The Farrah Skinny Ankle Jeans (size 29) // Taryn Rose Faye Loafers (size 9)

This was my travel outfit the day we went to the airport, thinking we were flying out to Austin, TX for a weekend getaway. As most of you know, my vertigo symptoms escalated that morning and we ended up canceling our trip. Womp…womp… still a great outfit for anytime.

In fact, I ended up wearing it all day… we went out to breakfast, did some errands at the mall, and went to the ENT (they were able to fit me in that afternoon!)

Two by Vince Camuto Denim Jacket (size small) // J.Crew Vintage Tee (size medium) // AG The Legging Ankle Jeans (size 28) // similar espadrilles

I believe I wore this to the nail salon on a mild day last week. I often wear these boyfriend jeans when I go for a pedicure because they’re easy to roll up when I soak my feet. I had some other errands to run first, thus the mules. Usually I just wear my Millers.

Daily Ritual Hooded Open Sweatshirt (size small) // J.Crew Raw Edge V-Neck Tank (size medium) // Citizens Emerson Slim Boyfriend Jeans (size 28) // Sam Edelman Clara Mules (size 7.5) // Tory Burch McGraw Hobo

I’m not sure where I wore this, but I wear this exact outfit about every other day, ha!

Everlane The Soft Cotton V-Neck (size small) // similar AG The Legging Ankle Jeans (size 28) // Tory Burch Minnie Ballet Flats (size 8)

See, I told ya… I wore this yesterday. These jeans are on sale but only available in one size.

Everlane The Soft Cotton V-Neck (size small) // Rag & Bone Raw Hem Ankle Skinny Jeans (size 28) // Veja Esplar Sneakers (size 8)

I wore this outfit to church and then out to brunch a couple weeks ago. I first styled this tulip print blouse with skinny ankle pants for a work wear look, but I feel much more at home wearing it with black skinny jeans. I’m sure your shocked.

Halogen Boxy Blouse (size small) // AG The Legging Ankle Jeans size 28) // Sam Edelman Hazel Pumps (size 8)

Lately if I’m not wearing my Everlane v-neck (above) then I’m usually wearing this colorblock Nordstrom Signature sweater. I love the funky step hem, the muted color combo, and the soft, lightweight cashmere. It’s perfect for this chilly spring weather we’re having.

Nordstrom Signature Sweater (size medium) // AG The Farrah Skinny Ankle Jeans (size 29) //  Tory Burch Minnie Ballet Flats (size 8)

Finally, I wore this last night out to dinner with Paul while the girls had plans. It was just a casual last-minute decision to go out, and it was raining (of course!) so I changed into these snakeskin flats. I also changed jeans, although I don’t remember why. I guess I had been doing try-ons and just threw these on instead of the Rag & Bone ones I’d been wearing most of the day.

Everlane The Soft Cotton V-Neck (small) // Good American Good Legs High Waist Skinny Jeans size 28) // Marc Fisher LTD Sunny Half d’Orsay Flats (size 8.5)

I know there’s not much variety in my daily looks, but this is real life I’m living here. I spend most of my days working from home or running mundane errands. Honestly, it’s not a glamorous life. I do love it, though!

  1. That Tory Burch tote~~swoon!
Thanks for all these great looks !
Off to find transitional shoes.  Our weather is similar here in Lewes, a little too warm for boots but not quite sandal weather either…

  2. That red blouse from Loft is so perfect on you. I think it would also work well in autumn, or late summer if you get a cool September day, so it’s really a three season top.

  3. I loved all the sandals you showed. The wide leg black crop pants and silk top looked classy–good for a date night. Love the try-on hauls. Thanks for showing so many options.

  4. Your try-ons: I was not impressed with how these looked on you (and you almost always look fabulous in everything you style!) I have to admit, I am glad, because I am not tempted to shop for anything. I still need to get out my summer clothes (and these are really spring as well with a cardigan haha!) so I don’t want to do any shopping (which I hate.) So hard to dress with this weather (30’s when I leave for work, then 40’s during the day, maybe a day of 60 this coming week).

  5. It’s official…you look good in EVERYTHING! I work from home, and I know what you mean about feeling like there’s not a lot of variety to our outfits, but I think just getting dressed is an achievement on the days that no one besides my immediate family sees me!

  6. Don’t these try-ons just exhaust you? Whenever I get a big batch in to try, I’m so tired after. What a whimp. HA! I ordered the pink jeans, but they only had a 29 and like you, I would likely need a 28. We’ll see, but I love that floral top with them.

  7. I love the black pants with the cream top and sandals! I might have fit issues with those pants (have never tried that style before), but I went ahead and ordered them to see. If they work, I imagine them as being nice breezy work pants for the summer.

  8. I see a lot of high waist pants in your posts, do stores carry low waist paints anymore? I can’t do the high waisted pants, they are way too uncomfortable.

    1. Sure, there is pretty much every rise out there right now. Midrise is most popular, I’d say. Most of the jeans and pants in this post have about a 9″ rise. That’s not really high, but definitely not low either. My favorite AG legging ankle jeans are low rise and so are the Paige Verdugo. Both of those are still around. and there are lots of others, but yeah, the rises are getting higher overall.

  9. So many great outfits!  That print top and the pink jeans are so fun together.  I jumped on the pink jeans the other day and I’m very anxious for them to arrive. Now a trip to Loft may be in order.  😊  And in answer to your question, yes, I’d love to see a cargo pants styled 3 ways post!  I am looking for some currently.  It’s hard to find them in petite sizes.

  10. LOVE LOVE The Mother denims on you! They are my newest favorite denim line and I haven’t met a pair that aren’t flattering and spot on! Great when you can find on sale too! 😉

    1. This is what I keep hearing! Glad I tried them. I had tried a straight cropped style that I didn’t love, but that’s just b/c that style doesn’t really flatter me. They were one of the better ones I’ve tried.

  11. Love the try on haul sessions! Really helpful to me as you and I have similar body types. Thanks for sharing! What a lot of work for you.
I love the idea of linen pants but get “swallowed” up in them and look larger than I am….. See that happened to you as well. Looks great on others: not my thang.
Waiting for it to warm up to pull out the open toe booties and sandals.

  12. Wow, I know that was a lot of clothes to try on, but I really like these posts! Also, I finally ordered your favorite AG The legging ankle jeans with the raw hem and they are too long. Obviously I don’t want a raw hem to be hemmed, so do you have any other recommendations? I am 5’3”

  13. Great try-on session! I’m always in a rut when Spring arrives and it seems like I get stuck wearing sweat pants all the time :(( so this post is really appreciated! What do you think about a post showcasing your new glasses? Just a thought. They really look great on you and I’m on the hunt for new frames!

  14. I would really appreciate having you style cargo pants three ways. I am a big fan of them and find them a great alternative to jeans.
I love your travel outfit and plan to copy it this weekend when I travel out of state to visit my daughter.
    Thank you!

  15. I love these posts.. but yeah lots to try on and think about. I really like the first two cargo pants you tried they seem very flattering for that style. I do need to look into this type of pant. Weather is so up and down I don’t know what season I’m in lol.. spring one day winter the next… I did buy a pretty striped soft pastel sweater yesterday and will be looking for more spring options like it to still get through theses colder days..
    Have a great weekend 😀

    1. I hear ya. Yesterday was terrible – cold, windy, rainy. I thought I’d never be warm again. Today is gorgeous and sunny, no wind, we sat outside for lunch and I got warm enough to take off my denim jacket. So odd! Hope the warmth is here to stay.

  16. Blessings! Wow that was quite the haul! Everything looks so good on you!!! I tried to shop the red button down from loft. But it sold out. I think you have made a huge impact on so many women! It really helps to see things on… Thank you for all you do!
    Cindy

  17. I loved those linen pants on you! I think they loom amazing, although I know you did n’t like them. I am dying for a pair of cargo pants. If you come across any in tall sizes, let me know! Very hard to find in tall…none of my usual places seem to have them. I also love that ponte shift dress!

  18. I loved the peplum blouse so much I went to loft to try on. Well, I liked it much better on you so left it there. But got 2 pair of cropped chinos. 40% off. So glad I went. I’m not a fan of the full leg pants you styled. 🙂

  19. Love that red blouse on you! So flattering! I laughed when I saw the third pair of cargoes. I thought…those look like the Joie cargoes I have. Scrolled down and they WERE Joie. 😉 I don’t know if they’re the exact ones I have, but they look like it. I’ve had mine for a year or so though. Love them, and I wear them at least once a week when I’m in school. So comfortable. I’m really debating about that Everlane v-neck. It’s just the kind of thing I love, and sadly, even though it’s supposed to be warm for the next couple of days, the rest of the forecast is back down to the 40s and 50s. 🙁

    1. Ha! Too funny that you have those. I do really like them, but after trying them both on again today, I kept the Paige. They edged out the Joie just tad on comfort, and my husband liked them better. Go figure! I still really like the Joie pair tho. Wish I could justify keeping both, or one in a different color… hmmm… lol!

  20. I love the Saturday Try on Haul an What you Wore blog posts the best! I especially liked the Loft striped tee in the blue color and the Loft dress. Was the blue Loft striped tee in a small size too? The pink Lucky jeans are a great choice for spring and it is something different.

  21. I have the same issue with the Ann Taylor dresses I ordered recently – so not just you. It seems like there is extra material around the waist.
Love the Lucky pink skinnys, I found my size available on Nordstrom yesterday but see all but 26 are gone now. I hope what I ordered fits-they will be so cute for spring!
Could you please link the disc necklace you are wearing with the gray V-neck sweater (which is awesome, I understand why you wear it a lot!)? I’m sure you’ve featured it before but I failed to take note.
    Thank you!

  22. Hi Jo-Lynne!  I LOVE this type of post!  I live a very similar life style (running kids around and running errands) so I love to see what you wear everyday.  I, too, wouldn’t change my life style for anything different!  I’ve been interested in the Everlane sweater for awhile now.  Could you tell me the length of the sweater?  I’m an AYW graduate, so I know my SSR!  🙂  Thank you!!!

  23. The LOFT red blouse is so pretty! And thousands of others must’ve thought so too because it’s sold out. I did follow your link to Bloomingdales though and bought a pair of Mother jeans! You know, they were actually my 2nd pair of premium denim back in the mid 2000s (my first $$$ were Seven For All Mankind – I bought a pair of Mother skinny jeans at Nordstrom not knowing if they’d last or be trendy, but they were super comfortable and the perfect length! I remember my husband gasping though that I’d spent $200 on a pair of jeans! 🙂 ) This Bloomies denim sale makes them a good price right now! Thank you!

  24. You look great in all that you try on with some exceptions. Thank you for the Try Ons.
The black floral dress looks fab. on you. The red long sleeve blouse also look great! The red and white wide leg cropped pants looked kind of interesting compared to the others you tried on. Thank you for all you do everyday. I look forward to your emails everyday but I don’t always respond. God Bless you and your family.

  25. KEEP THE RED LOFT BLOUSE!!!! It’s gorgeous & also my favorite item on you, though there are many wonderful clothing pieces in this post!

  26. I LOVE the link bracelet you are wearing in several of these pictures — can you please share the details?
Great post. I love your style.

    1. Oops — just figured out the details through the instagram shopping link! Thanks and sorry to bother you!

  27. Hi! Any chance that you’ve spotted some decent cargo-style pants (joggers or not) that are in a slightly lower price range? I just can’t justify the higher price for something that I’d like to wear occasionally but not as frequently as jeans….

    1. I’ve only looked at Bloomingdale’s so far, but I’m sure there are less expensive options. They’re really popular right now so most retailers probably have some.

At first pass, I’m not finding as many a I expected. Nothing on Old Navy or Loft or White House Black Market.

Here is a less expensive pair from Nordstrom, these look really good if the price is in your desired range: https://shopstyle.it/l/1JRK

Target has these but I don’t like the looks of them quite as much – https://shopstyle.it/l/1JRx

These at Macy’s could be cute – https://shopstyle.it/l/1JQ1

J.Crew has these but they’re a little more and not currently on sale. If they go on sale, they could be a contender – https://shopstyle.it/l/1JRX

I’ll keep my eye out for more as I’m shopping!

  28. I ordered the pink Daily Ritual cardigan from Amazon but I didn’t like it on me! It looks so pretty on you. I typically wear a straight medium but I think I should have gotten a small in this. 🙁

  29. I would love to see a cargo pant post.  I think the most expensive pair was so flattering on you!  Those were the ones I gravitated too as soon as I saw them!  I have some similar from JCP i bought years ago and need to replace – so glad they are back in!  Also, I wanted to mention I loved when you did a post with your middle schooler last year.  It gave mine some great ideas and in fact we bought the same backpack if I remember correctly.  We would love to see another middle schooler post.

  30. Do the Steve Madden mules run true to size? I normally wear a 9 1/2 or 10 in shoes depending on the style. Since these are pointy not sure if the 10 is my go to size.
