Valentine’s Day Gift Ideas with Hallmark Jewelry at Amazon

Good morning, friends. Happy Tuesday! It’s hard to believe we’re already a week into February, but sure enough, Valentine’s Day is next week and all the stores are decked out in red and pink. Of course, Valentine’s Day candy has been in the aisles since December; I’m almost surprised July 4th decorations aren’t up yet.

How do you celebrate Valentine’s Day in your house?

Early on in our relationship, Paul and I would make a pretty big deal out of it. Or maybe I should say I made a big deal out of it. Ha! Over the years, it has become less of an event, but we always make a point to go out to dinner together somewhere nice, and sometimes he will bring me flowers.

Since having kids, our celebrations often incorporate them. We like to do our dinner out on an off-night when the restaurants are less crowded, and then we spend Valentine’s Day at home with the kids. Our girls love to set the table with china and silver and scatter red and pink heart-shaped confetti about, and I make one of their favorite meals. If I think about it, I get the kids each a small gift. Gift giving is my love language, so I have a hard time ignoring the pretty seasonal displays when I’m out and about.

Jewelry is one of my favorite gifts to give and get because it’s personal and meaningful, it lasts for years, and you can wear it as often as you want. My husband has given me quite a few pieces of jewelry over the years, and I can remember exactly when I received each one and where we were. I love having a collection of pretty accessories to commemorate special events and occasions through the years. Now that the girls are getting older, I often buy jewelry for them when I need a gift, and it’s definitely my go-to when it comes to friends and family members.

With Valentine’s Day approaching and graduation and wedding season on the horizon, this is the perfect time to introduce you to Hallmark Jewelry at Amazon.

I’ve always been a huge fan of Hallmark cards and gifts, so I was thrilled to hear about their new partnership with Amazon Fashion. They’ve created a line of jewelry for every love story including relationships, family, faith, special events, and kids. Each piece is crafted with quality materials and carries a sentimental message to keep or share with someone special.

They invited me to select a little “me gift” from their collection, so after browsing a bit, I picked out this sterling silver triple rings necklace from their Relationships & Stories collection. It came packaged so pretty, perfect for gift giving.

The necklace is small and dainty, and the 18″ diamond-cut chain has such a pretty sparkle. I love the simplicity of the design, and it makes the perfect understated accent in a v-neck top.

Another nice thing about Hallmark’s partnership with Amazon Fashion is you get the benefit of Amazon Prime’s free two-day shipping, if you’re a member. I can barely remember life before Amazon Prime! It’s so convenient. At this point I have most of our household necessities on auto-order, and their app is on my iPhone so I don’t even have to be at my computer to place an order when I think of something we need. That Buy Now feature is pretty dangerous, but I love it because it makes life so much easier.

Whether you need a last minute Valentine’s Day gift or are thinking ahead to weddings, graduations, and other events coming up this spring, Hallmark has you covered with the perfect gift or keepsake. Shop their collection online at Amazon.com.

  1. JoLynne, I read both Cindy and your daily e-mails so think I would like to be added to your FB group! Do you need anything more info?

  2. Another great post Jo-Lynne! We don’t do too much for Valentines because Larry sees it as just another commercialized occasion to make people spend money. With that being said, we always send our granddaughter a card and we have given each other something small but useful in the past. I’ve just remembered I do have Larry a new shirt hidden in my closet. You sharing the line of Hallmark jewelry with Amazon is perfect! Carley, our granddaughter, graduates from high school in May, and I’ve been trying to think of a gift for her. She got our BIG gift at Christmas, so a piece of jewelry will be perfect, especially since we are also Amazon Prime members. Thank you!

  3. I started following your email post last fall from your pinterest board! I read your email everyday and enjoy your clothing recommendations. I worked in the financial industry for 30+ years and wore skirt/pantsuits everyday. So now I am a jeans girl and love your style. I shop my closet based on your ideas and have bought things that I see you wearing that I need/want. Ha! I loved your latest Spring must haves. I am glad you are keeping the email!

  4. Jo-Lynne, I just realized you changed your short bio (upper right hand corner). “Because friends don’t let friends wear mom jeans,” I love it!! Keep up the great posts.

  5. Love the necklace, it’s so pretty!! There are several pieces I like and wow, they are quite affordable!

LOVE Amazon Prime as well lol!

I am not a big fan of crowds so my husband will usually make us a nice dinner at home. I deck out the table with Valentine’s decor and we unplug for the night 🙂

  6. Love this necklace! So pretty and understated. I would like to be a part of your Facebook group and am wondering how to be included on that. THank you!

  7. Like most, we celebrated differently before children. Our first was born ON Valentines Day and for the last 28 years, it has been all about her. When our girls were still living at home, we used to purchase a heart shaped pizza from the local Papa Murphy’s. It was a fun and inexpensive way to celebrate as a family and of course we followed it up with some outrageous dessert for the birthday girl. Now that both girls live on their own and out of state and we are empty nesters, we typically do something fairly low key and usually at home. And we always exchange cards. I find that the service at restaurants isn’t all so great on Valentines Day and prefer not to go out that night. This year, we are heading to Seattle to our fave restaurant with another couple and will celebrate the weekend before.

  8. Always enjoy your blog and love Amazon Prime!

Doing a little something different this year with my husband in the card department. Being married 32 years and dated 4, we have exchanged tons of cards on all occasions. Since we’re trying to downsize, we are challenging one another to create our valentines using our old cards. This should be intriguing.

  9. I have a heart shaped pendant from my younger son that he got me from Hallmark years ago. I still wear it! Valentines is usually really low key for us – one of my boys probably has soccer! haahaa! Also, my birthday is on the 23rd, so we usually wait and go out and celebrate then. This year will be interesting, as my older son now has a girlfriend. We are interested to see what will happen there! 🙂

  10. I am so glad you are keeping the personal aspect! I receive both emails, could you add me to your FB group? Love your posts!!!

  11. Jo-Lynne,

  12. Jo Lynne, I just wanted to say I appreciate getting your blog every morning in my inbox. I like to read about your day and it makes me realize we’re all the same in so many ways – and it makes me feel a little bit more connected sometimes too, so thanks. Also, you give me great ideas on what to wear and give me the motivation to try new things I wouldn’t otherwise try. Keep up the good work!

  13. Hi Jo Lynn
I look forward to your daily email.
Before my kids were away at school we enjoyed a romantic dinner for four…sometimes
my mom would even join us! Special meal with our good china. I kind of miss it now that
I think about. Time does fly and we are back to dinner for two. ????????❤️

  14. I’ve been without my email for a bit (computer problems!) and I’m just now catching up on my InBox – I never realized just how many emails I receive each day :)) Okay, enough of my chattering – could you please add me to the Jolynne Shane/Cyndi Spivey Facebook page if it isn’t too late? I’m under my cat’s name – Daisy Hogan 🙂
