Weekend Sale Roundup + Monthly Newsletter Giveaway!

One of the exclusive features I include in my email newsletter is a weekend sale roundup from around the Web. I do this sale roundup every Saturday, but the sales are so good this weekend, I thought I’d share them here today as well, along with a roundup of some of my top picks.

In those newsletters, I share a little more about what’s going on in my life each day, I link to my daily blog post, and I try to add an exclusive feature (sometimes a few!) only for newsletter subscribers — either a deal of the day, a 5 under $50 roundup, a special sale alert, my Asked & Answered column, or my weekend sale roundup! I have a daily OR weekly option — the weekly email comes out on Saturdays, and it’s the one that includes this weekend sale roundup. It also recaps all my blog posts for the week so you can catch up if you missed anything.

I’m also starting something new for newsletter subscribersTo show my appreciation for letting me into your inbox, I’m randomly awarding one lucky subscriber a $50 gift card each month! The retailers will vary, and the winner will be announced in the last Saturday newsletter of each month. (Official giveaway rules apply.)

If you aren’t signed up for my emails, it’s free and easy to sign up, and it’s totally risk free — if you don’t like them, or your inbox is getting too crowded, you can opt out at any time simply by clicking the “Unsubscribe” link at the bottom of the email. Or if you find the daily emails are too much but you want to keep in touch, you can always switch from daily to weekly newsletters by clicking “Update Preferences” at the bottom of any of my newsletters.

Okay, let’s move on to the weekend sales because yowza! They are good!

one // two // three // four // five // six // seven // eight // nine // ten // eleven // twelve

In addition to my sale roundup (below) I gathered some of my favorite picks from the Loft and Banana Republic Sales in the image above. Everything is 40% off!

My Weekend Sale Picks

one // I tried these pants on in the plain black, and I love the fit, but this windowpane print is such a great work wear option for fall. I love the classic subtle pattern for something a little different, so I ordered a pair to style in a future outfit post!

two // These high rise legging fit ankle jeans are new to Banana Republic this fall, and I was impressed with the fit and feel when I tried them on last week. Definitely a great under-$100 denim option to consider adding to your closet!

three // These boyfriend jeans are really cute on, and I love the lighter wash. They’re a great transition piece to wear now and into fall.

four // I’m kind of obsessed with these Tencel utility joggers. They’re great for casual wear, but you can also dress them up if you’re wanting a more modern date night look!

five // I love this orange shift, and I was so bummed it was sold out in my size. I had it in my cart, and it disappeared, but now I see it’s back so I’m going to grab it right now. For size reference, I take the 8.

six // This floral top is another great wear now-and-later piece. It is beautiful on its own, but you can also layer it under a jacket or cardigan this fall.

seven // How cute is this sweatshirt? It looks so soft and cozy. The navy is cute, but I like the white version best with the la vita è bella sentiment.

eight // This cowl neck shell is a great layering piece — perfect for work wear or dinners out. I ordered the green, but it also comes in black and ivory.

nine // And this striped cardigan is SO SO GOOD, you guys. I tried it on in store, left it there because it wasn’t on sale, but now it’s 40% off so I grabbed it! If the navy and white stripe isn’t your thing, it also comes in solid silver and black. For size reference, I have the small.

ten // Another great drapey cardigan for fall, this waterfall sweater is amazingly soft.

eleven // This super-fine Merino wool hoodie is super luxe, and I love the combination of dressy sweater material with athletic-inspired hoodie design. This is the way to level up your weekend wear so you look as classy as you are cozy and comfy.

twelve // Love the extra wide v-neck on this silk/cashmere sweater — this is the perfect pairing for the windowpane trousers in #1 (above.)

  1. Look forward to your posts everyday even though you cost me a lot of money!!!  Haha!!!  You always lead us to all the good sales.  A $50 dollar gift card is very generous.

  2. I hate it for Becca that they didn’t get to march out onto the football field last night!  Four out of my five years in high school (8-12), I was on the drill team.  Marching out on the field that very first time to perform was so exciting.  One year we got to perform at an Atlanta Falcons football game; going out on that field was an even bigger high.  She will still have a first time on the field, with all of the memorable highs!  There are some great sales this weekend!  I will be checking out a few of them, as I continue looking for a lounging jacket & a top to go with a pair of ON pj bottoms.  The Vionic mules I ordered from Nordstrom are just way too wide on my foot and too pointed for my big toes ☹️.  Oh, your sporadic give away is awesome 👏.  Thank you!!!  Enjoy the first of many great weekends with Paul and your girls!

    1. Hey Ginger, I, too, am always looking for cute loungewear.  Not pajamas, but something between athleisure and pajamas.  Good luck on your search!  And Jo-Lynne, I’m excited about the email give away too!!!

  3. So happy you got your son settled in at school! Can’t believe we will be back to school in just a few weeks here in Michigan. I think I may need to invest in those windowpane pants for fall! Maybe I will be a lucky winner in your generous giveaway!

  4. I know it’s hard to see your son go. I missed my beautiful boy. I missed him jumping up on the counter and telling me about his day. I missed his big smile, his handsome face but most of all his gentle giant hugs. But, I was also proud that he was getting on in life and that gave me comfort. He lives across the country (job) and is married now. But, he’s still my beautiful boy who gives amazing hugs. You can do this, JoLynne!

  5. I do remember those marching band days.  Living in the Northwest we spent many days watching games, parades and competitions in the rain. And I remember a few drum line competitions held inside.   I watched your video on Instagram and they sounded great!  It sounds like you will have lots of weekends with band music between your son and daughter.  Fun!  Thanks for all the sales updates.  And the giveaway is exciting!  Enjoy your weekend!

  6. I’m glad the college drop-off went well for you. It went well for me too two years ago. Beware, though, it may hit you later as you suspect. I thought I would be fine, but I found myself lying in her bed missing her a couple weeks after she was gone!! Now she’s starting her junior year and moving into a college house, and the move-out is much easier!! 😉

  7. Love the sale options. Great choices! The random $50 give a way is generous and looking forward to participating.! Have a great weekend. Also in the Philadelphia area! Just outside of Phila.

  8. Relatively new to your blog.  Just want to tell you how much I enjoy it and look forward to your update everyday. I’m feeling like I’ve found a new friend— who has great taste, and wonderful sense of humor.  I’ve also realized what dedication blogging takes. Thank you!  I’ve already bought a couple of pieces you’ve styled!

  9. Great finds! I haven’t shopped BR in a long time, but you keep finding fun pieces, I may need to revisit them. Can’t wait to see what you do with the joggers. I got a similar pair in the spring and I’m anxious to get to wear them more.
Glad to hear all went smoothly with your college boy!
