What a difference a day makes!

Day Two in Williamsburg was a huge improvement over Day One. Of course, ANYTHING would have been an improvement, except possibly a tornado.

And the wedding was absolutely perfect — a bit muddy, but perfect. I can’t wait to tell you all about it, but right now, coffee beckons. Have a wonderful Sunday, and please keep us in your prayers as we travel home.

  1. SOOO glad you had gave CW another chance! I know the off season is less lively than the late spring and summer, but it still is an amazing place. Hopefully, your family will be able to visit again sometime when the weather cooperates and more is scheduled.

    Safe drive home!

  2. so glad the storm blew over and you had a do over day. i was bummed with a day where the highlight was a table of crayons and coloring sheets! Have a great weekend. mzzterry<

    1. That’s the Governor’s Palace. When we were under British rule, that’s where the British governors lived. After we became a nation, Patrick Henry and then Thomas Jefferson lived there. Then the capitol of VA was moved to Richmond. This building is a replica. The original was partially destroyed in a fire and then demolished during the Civil War. That’s your Virginia history lesson for the day. 😉
