Holiday Outfit Ideas: What To Wear to a Holiday Brunch

Welcome to Fashion Friday AND my 12 Days of Holiday Outfits series!! Today we’re all about What To Wear to a Holiday Brunch.

Whether you’re invited to someone’s home or to a fancy restaurant, a holiday brunch is one of my favorite holiday events. For one, because I love brunch foods, but also because it tends to be more low-key. I hosted a Christmas brunch every year for many years and invited all my girlfriends. It was always such a nice time. These days, our church hosts a ladies’ brunch or tea every year for the holidays so I got out of the habit of hosting my own, but I still get to attend one!

A lot of restaurants have special holiday brunch events as well. It’s on my bucket list to get down to Longwood Gardens for their Breakfast with Santa.

Of course your events may vary someone in formality, but I put together a cute outfit that is something I would wear to a holiday brunch. I absolutely adore this outfit.

I picked up the top at White House Black Market earlier this week, and I like that it’s fairly casual so I will get a lot of wear out of it. But add the necklace and the coated denim jeans and heeled booties, and you’ve got a holiday party outfit!

Right now, you can get 30% OFF at White House Black Market!!!! If you need anything, now is a great time to shop. For some reason, I can’t seem to find this top that I have online, but they have a ton of great red tops to choose from.

I’m also wearing the DL1961 ‘Florence’ Instasculpt Skinny Jeans in the Lourdes wash. They are currently 30% off as well. I’ve been wanting to try a coated denim, and I don’t have any grey pants at the moment, so when I saw the sale, I snagged these.

The shoes were sent to me from Naturalizer. I ADORE these Annabell booties and I’m so bummed that my foot is hurting again and I wasn’t able to wear them yesterday to Thanksgiving dinner, which was my intent. I had them on long enough to take this picture and then I was back in my grannie shoes. LOL.

Another look I wanted to show for a holiday brunch, perhaps one at a restaurant or a fancy location, is a taffeta midi skirt. I love this trend and find it so ladylike and pretty. Earlier in the season, they had a red one pictured with an ivory sweater that I thought was just divine. Of course, they are sold out. But there is a black one that would be gorgeous with an ivory or red sweater. Perhaps something like this.
