Beauty Finds & Big Savings: January QVC Picks

Hi friends! I’ve got a couple of good QVC beauty deals to share with you today! One is a makeup staple I can’t be without, and the other set features a popular reader favorite plus a recent addition that’s quickly becoming a must-have in my everyday makeup routine. Plus, I rounded up some more QVC beauty deals that caught my eye.

Since these are available at QVC, new customers can use code NEWYEAR15 for $15 off $35+ purchases, and second-time customers can use code WELCOME10 for $10 off $25+. If you’re looking to refresh your routine or stock up on beauty essentials, these picks are definitely worth checking out!

tarte Tartelette XL Tubing Mascara Duo for $37

Let’s start with the makeup staple I can’t be without—my favorite mascara, the tarte Tartelette XL Tubing Mascara Duo. It’s $37 at QVC (compared to $54 if purchased separately). They call this lash extensions in a bottle, and honestly, it lives up to the hype! This mascara gives your lashes crazy volume and length without clumping or flaking. The tubing formula wraps each lash for a lifted effect, and it’s super easy to remove—just warm water, no rubbing or raccoon eyes required.

Applying it is simple: Start at the base of your lashes and apply two light coats in an upward motion, following the natural curve of your lashes. If you want even more volume, just wiggle the wand at the base before pulling it through the length.

In case you’re not familiar with tarte makeup, all of their products are formulated with a blend of naturally-derived ingredients and are free of parabens, phthalates, and other harsh chemicals. This mascara duo is eligible for Easy Pay at QVC, and you can choose between a one-time shipment or auto-delivery to keep your lashes looking fab all year ’round.

tarte Shape Tape Lift and Glow Complexion Trio for $38.98 $47.00

Then there’s the tarte Shape Tape Lift and Glow Complexion Trio, which is a QVC Big Deal through 1/18, so you’ll want to grab it while you can. It includes a full-size Double Duty Beauty Shape Tape Contour Concealer, a full-size Creaseless Glow Skin Filter, and an application brush, all for just $38.98 (down from $47.00) with free standard shipping. If you purchased these separately, they’d cost $76, so this is a serious steal!

If you haven’t tried Shape Tape before, it’s the ultimate concealer for brightening under your eyes, covering blemishes, or even contouring. A lot of ladies love it.

The Creaseless Glow Skin Filter is new to me, but it’s quickly becoming a daily part of my skincare routine. I love how it adds a little extra radiance to your look, and the brush makes application super quick and easy—no need to worry about streaks or uneven coverage.

Here are their tips for how to use it:

To cover and perfect, dot concealer directly over dark circles or other imperfections. To cover uneven skin tone, apply concealer directly onto skin and blend. To offset the look of dark circles, trace concealer onto under-eye area and blend.

For contouring and highlighting, trace concealer in light, thin lines directly onto areas you want to highlight and contour, such as the cheekbones, forehead, chin, and nose. Wear concealer one to two shades darker for creamy contouring and one to two shades lighter as a luminous highlighter.

As for me, I like to dot it right above my cheekbones, then use the brush to blend. With whatever product is left on the brush, I sweep it down the bridge of my nose and just above my eyebrows for a luminous glow.

Whether you’re a Shape Tape loyalist or new to tarte cosmetics, this trio is a great way to stock up or try something new at an unbeatable price. Plus, like all tarte products, these are made with naturally-derived ingredients and free from parabens and other harsh chemicals, so they’re great for your skin too!

And don’t forget to use code NEWYEAR15 for $15 off first time QVC purchases of $35 or more, or code WELCOME10 for $10 off second-time purchases of $25+.

  1. I use the ultra creamy Tarte concealer. It’s better for mature skin. I received the Laura Geller set this week. The foundation in medium is too dark for me. It makes me look like I have a tan. I’m light olive and normally a light/medium shade in foundation. I consider myself to be medium in skin tone so surprised how dark it is. I’m not returning because I can use it in the summer or as blush or bronzer now. I love the blush and highlighter. By the end of the day it had not faded. I like the feel of the lip oil but don’t like the color but will mix it with my lipstick. Overall happy with it. I’m just not comfortable looking tan all the time. Looks fake to me.

    1. I am exactly the same. I saved the medium for when I am tan. The light is perfect for my skin, which is a light medium. I imagine the light skinned people are finding the light shade too dark for them. But I do love this product, along with the blush, highlighter, and fluffy brush.

  2. Any suggestions for longer looking lashes for age 60. I would like to try fake lashes but find they don’t stay on long enough. Years ago I used latisse but got hard to get and expensive. It did work well. Tired of looking like I have no lashes. Using tube mascara currently. It’s ok but no miracle.

  3. A question for Q&A…
I’m assuming for under eye circles that the Shape Tape goes over my foundation (Laura Geller Double Take Baked), but I wanted to ask which you do. Also, do you use tarte eye shadow? If so, which colors? Thanks. (LOVE your make-up.)

      1. Thanks! I’ve all but emptied my make-up drawer and starting over. After 60+ years with the same foundation, it was time! Heh. The thing is, I run into the funniest questions. Appreciate your help.
