Every year when the weather starts warming up, I find myself switching up parts of my beauty routine. The heavier products I use in winter usually get swapped out for more lightweight formulas, and I start looking for hair products that hold up better in heat and humidity.

If you’re ready for a little seasonal beauty refresh, I rounded up a few spring and summer beauty products that seem to be everywhere right now—and I’m curious to try several of them myself. I’d love to hear if you’ve tried any of these, what you think, or if you have other favorites I should know about!
Spring and Summer Beauty Products

Bio Ionic Long Barrel Curling Iron // Sydney, who helps me with content planning, has this and says it’s the best curling wand she’s ever used. The extra-long barrel is especially great for long hair. She originally bought it after seeing it recommended on TikTok, and it’s also available on Amazon.

It’s a 10 Miracle Leave-In Product // Another product Sydney swears by. She travels quite a bit and is constantly dealing with different climates and water, and this has become one of her must-haves. You just spray it on after showering and brush it through, and it works as a leave-in conditioner, detangler, and heat protectant all in one. It also has over 27,000 reviews, which definitely caught my attention.

Youth To The People Superberry Hydrate + Glow Dream Face Oil // A friend recommended this hydrating face oil, and she’s very picky about skincare, so the fact that it passed her test definitely caught my attention. It’s designed to help boost dull, dry skin overnight—you just apply a few drops before bed.

Tatcha The Serum Stick // I’ve seen multiple people rave about this little Tatcha stick lately. I like that you can toss it in your purse and use it throughout the day for an extra boost of hydration, especially under the eyes when you’re looking a little tired or dry.

Supergoop! Glowscreen Soft-Radiance Drops Mineral SPF // If you like a glowy look without wearing a lot of makeup in the summer, this product is worth a look. These drops give skin a healthy, radiant finish while adding mineral SPF protection, and I like that you can wear them alone or mix a few drops into your moisturizer or foundation for an extra glow.

Supergoop! Glow Gloss SPF 40 Lip Balm // This lip balm gives a pretty glossy finish without feeling sticky or heavy. The SPF 40 is a huge bonus for spring and summer, especially if you spend a lot of time outside, since lips are so easy to forget when it comes to sun protection.

Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray // If you’re looking for a texturizing spray, this one comes highly recommended. I’ve been using the Sexy Hair version for a while and still like it, but I keep hearing people rave about this Oribe one, so I’m tempted to give it a try myself.

Oribe Anti-Humidity Spray // I’m also intrigued by this anti-humidity spray. There are so many products like this on the market, especially this time of year, but this one keeps popping up and sounds especially promising for summer heat and humidity.

AmLactin Foot Repair // There’s nothing worse than dry, cracked heels in sandal season… can I get an amen? This foot cream has 15% lactic acid is designed to help smooth rough skin and soften calluses while also helping hydrate dry, cracked heels. I’ve heard really good things about it for getting feet sandal-ready without needing a trip for a professional pedicure.

La Roche-Posay Anthelios Melt-In Milk Sunscreen SPF 100 // So many people swear by this sunscreen, especially for long days outside in the summer. I hear that it feels surprisingly lightweight for such a high SPF and doesn’t leave skin feeling greasy or chalky. I’ve used their tinted facial sunscreen before and really liked it, so this sounds promising—especially for those who prefer a higher SPF.

EADEM Le Chouchou Lip Softening Balm // This lip balm is supposed to keep lips soft and hydrated while adding a pretty subtle shine. It looks great worn on its own for an easy everyday look or layered over lip liner for a little more polish.

jane iredale Powder-Me SPF 30 Dry Sunscreen // This looks like such an easy way to reapply sunscreen throughout the day without messing up your makeup. The brush applicator seems especially convenient for travel, the beach, or anytime you need a quick SPF touch-up on the go.

Dermaplaning Reveal Spray // If you dermaplane at home, this spray is supposed to help highlight the fine hairs so you can see what you’re doing a little better. It also helps nourish and prep the skin, which sounds like a nice bonus. (And FYI, I use the Tinkle dermaplaning razors.)

pixi DetoxifEYE Eye Patches // These are great to keep in the fridge for mornings when your under-eyes look tired or puffy. They’re supposed to feel super cooling and refreshing, and I like the idea of popping them on while getting ready to help me look a little more awake and refreshed.

What lotions or potions are you currently using on your mature eyes? I haven’t found anything that wows me or looks like it is even helping with aging.
I currently have InnBeauty Extreme Cream Eye and the Perricone MD Brightening Under-Eye Cream that I like.
Frankly, I don’t think any topical cream really helps much with aging. The best we can do is keep our skin hydrated and smooth, but as far as the lines and wrinkles and sagging, that’s botox/filler or surgery, lol.
Did it take you time to become comfortable dermaplaning at home? I have only had this done when I get a facial, and I’m thinking I should learn to do this myself!
Yeah, I was nervous at first. My best advice is to use a light hand, and be sure the tool is fresh and clean and sharp. I only use each one a couple of times before tossing. They’re meant to be disposable.
Thank you very much for this advice!
I use many of the Oribe products and love them. The dry texturizing spray is my favorite. My hair salon also sells them and uses them on my hair. There’s often a kit in the Nordstrom anniversary sale.
That’s great to hear. Can’t wait to try it.
You should link to the oribe website. They are offering 20 percent off on their website. Not sure how long it will be going for.
There products are really good. I use both you mentioned as well as the Gold Lust oil.
Ooooh, good to know!
I, myself, use cerave eye cream at night and Clinique eye cream for drier skin in the morning—I seriously do not have eye wrinkles and I’m 71 now. But I’m also very good about wearing sunglasses and a hat (if I’m in the sun an extended time).
Teresa, I can attest to the CLinique All About Eyes undereye cream, have been using it for many years and also their 3 step skin care and can proudly say I do not have any wrinkles at 75! I’ll have to try the Cerave cream at night as I love their body lotion.
That is awesome. I try so many products and it seems like there are so many good ones out there, but those are definitely some tried and true brands. I feel like the key is consistency with whatever we decide to use. I have been taking care of my skin and using good products since I was a teen. I always remove my makeup at night and moisturize. Of course, sun protection and good genetics help too.
Have used the “It’s a 10” for my hair off and on for years, good product.
Have used the Miracle it’s a 10 product off and on for years on my hair, good product!
Good to know! I hadn’t heard of it till recently.
I have been using It’s a 10 for well over a decade, it’s one of my few “ride or die” products! It does help with humidity, but it’s also one of the best heat protectants and leave in conditioners I’ve ever used. I have very thick, easily damaged hair but it stays strong and healthy as long as I use this product. Helpful hint, it’s a very thick product which works well for those who have coarse/porous hair like I do, but I could see how it might be too heavy for thin or fine hair. There’s a “lite” version that may work better for ladies with fine hair that gets weighed down easily.
Interesting and good to know, since I have fine hair and heavy products can be a bit much for me.
I tried the “lite” one summer, it was not quite enough for me but it’d probably be perfect for you. I have also tried the one with keratin. It works well for an occasional leave in treatment, but I found it was too greasy for everyday use. At least for my hair. FYI they make travel size bottles that are a good way to try it out. Also if you do end up liking it, I buy it in an extra large container at TJ Maxx. It’s a bigger size than I’ve found anywhere else, and more cost efficient than buying the regular size frequently. I just decant it into the regular and travel bottles. Hope you like it if you try it, it really is one of my favorite hair products!
I can vouch for the AmLactin foot cream. My dermatologist recommended it years ago and I won’t be without it!
