Stock Up for the New Year at Athleta’s Winter Sale

Athleta sponsored

Hi friends! It’s a two-fer today because Athleta just launched their Winter Sale, and you can save up to 60% off sale items through 12/31 — like this sporty henley performance top that is $44, down from $69.

Uptempo Ribbed Henley Top (M) // Delancey Gleam Moto Tight (S)

I love the ribbed texture and long sleeves with thumbholes. The brushed tech jersey is soft to the touch, and it has a good bit of stretch. I sized up to a medium because of the chest; otherwise, it runs pretty true to size.

I paired it with these moto tights in a neutral Bluff Grey. I was worried this lighter color would be too revealing. I’ve definitely got some lumps and bumps I don’t care to highlight, if you know what I mean… But they actually offer really good coverage and are quite forgiving in that regard.

I also love the moto details and the zipper at the ankle. These tights are exceptionally soft with a brushed finish and a nice high waistband that stays put as I move around. They’re on sale in the Black but unfortunately not this Bluff Grey.

This uber casual look would make a good travel outfit, and it’s also great for active pursuits. You could throw on a vest or jacket for an extra layer of warmth and added interest.

This next look is great for gym workouts, but definitely size up in this top. I assumed this tee would have a looser fit, so I ordered my usual size small, but it’s too tight in just about every way. It’s not just a chest issue with this one, although that doesn’t help matters.

Endurance Tee (S; need to size up) // Athleta Elation Garment Dye 7/8 Tight (S)

This Endurance Tee is made of a moisture-wicking nylon/spandex blend, so it’s great for high impact activities that work up a sweat, and it has some nice seaming details for added interest. Just be sure to size up!

And these Elation Garment Dye 7/8 Tights are an essential that every woman needs in her workout wardrobe. The second-skin Powervita™ fabric is super smooth and supportive, and they feel amazing on. Plus, I love the subtle pattern in the fabric for added interest.

The 3-layer waistband is soft against your skin and never pinches or bind, and it has a back drop-in pocket for your essentials. These run true to size; I’m in my usual small. They also come in tall and petite sizes, and this is a really good price. They’re $53.99, down from $89, and fully stocked.

This is a great time to stock up and save on all your favorite Athleta winter workout essentials, and get your new year started off right! Here are some more of my favorites that are on sale.

  1. “Lumps and Bumps🤦???” — you look great (I only *wish* I was in that kind of shape, LOL!). I love the color and fit of the henley (though, would probably feel less self-conscious pairing it with the darker leggings). Athleta is always a winner in my book: because they fit like a dream and look better quality than people thinking you’re just in a schleppy gym outfit all day(!).

    Have a Happy New Year!

  2. I purchased 2 athletic leggings yesterday and am so excited to receive them. Someone may look at the sale prices and think “that’s a sale?” But the quality of the garments is so amazing, and the feel of them is so soft and yummy. I only purchase Athleta when they are having a sale, so this is a good time to buy, since they rarely have a sale. I purchased 2 Pryanama wraps at the Black Friday sale. The fabric is so soft and yummy.

  3. You look good in everything!! My number 1 problem is roll down. I am having a difficult time finding bottoms that don’t roll down!! I have tried many many brands!! I tried different sizes. All the Zella went back. Ones from gap, etc etc. I don’t know what the issue is. So far I found 1 pair at JCP and now I am unable to find them..

I hope you have a very HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

    God bless

    Cindy
