I always hear people talking about a 5-minute face, but I’m pretty much all or nothing when it comes to doing my makeup. It usually takes me a good 15 minutes to apply my makeup from start to finish… until now!
I just discovered this new set from tarte cosmetics at QVC called 30 Seconds to Stunning, and it has shaved a good five minutes off my makeup routine.
This set contains two full-size tartelette Shadow Liners, two full-size Maracuja Juicy Lip Cremes, and a full-size Lights, Camera, Lashes Mascara along with a pretty little gift bag for easy storage.
The idea here is to highlight your best features in 30 seconds and three quick swipes, for an effortlessly beautiful everyday makeup look that gets you out the door and on with your day!
You guys already know what a huge fan I am of the tarte Lights Camera Lashes 4-in-1 Mascara. I talk about it every chance I get.
This mascara separates, lengthens, thickens, and curls your lashes in two light coats. You’ll want to wiggle it a bit as you pull it through your lashes for best results, and I like to let it dry a little between coats.
This set also includes the Maracuja Juicy Lip Creme in Peachy Pink and Mauve. The Maracuja Lip Creme has a little more pigment than the Maracuja Juicy Lip that I’ve been using, which is more of a tinted gloss. The Lip Creme is moisturizing and buildable so you can get the exact intensity you desire.
When I’m doing a full face of makeup, I will use lip liner, lipstick, and a plumping gloss on top; but these creamy shiny balms with medium-coverage color are an all-in-one lip color and plumping gloss.
For this look, I even skipped my lip liner, and just applied the Maracuja Juicy Lip Creme in Mauve.
But it’s the tartelette Shadow Liners that are the real game changers in this set. When I use my favorite eye shadow palette, I combine 5 or 6 of the colors. It really does create a beautiful look, but it’s time consuming, and not necessary for everyday.
These waterproof tartelette Shadow Liners in a convenient stick design are one and done! The creamy gel tip glides on your lids and for a highly-pigmented, buildable color.
For your 30 Seconds to Stunning makeup look, use the Shadow Liner on the entire lid or as a smoky liner. (I applied the amethyst Eye Catching color to my entire lid.)
Then brush two light coats of Lights, Camera, Lashes Mascara onto your lashes, and twist up one of the Maracuja Juicy Lip Creme and add a swipe to lips. (I used the Mauve.)
In the interest of full disclosure, I added a little eyeliner and I’m wearing foundation and blush as well, but the easy eye shadow stick and lip creme definitely cut my get-ready time in half.
While I’m sharing QVC beauty finds, I also want to mention this St. Tropez Self-Tan Watermelon Bronzing Mousse Duo with Mitts because it’s a great deal right now. I was already a fan of the original, but the Watermelon scent is really fresh and fun for summer.
This set comes with two 6.7-fl oz Self-Tan Watermelon Infusion Bronzing Mousses and two application mitts for $49.96. The full retail price would be $75, so that’s a really good cost-savings if you use self-tanner regularly.
All you do is apply the bronzing mousse in long sweeping motions with the applicator mitt, starting at the ankles and working your way up. Once all areas are covered, lightly swipe any excess tan from the mitt over your hands and feet.
It dries almost immediately, but it takes four to eight hours for the color to fully develop into a beautiful, natural-looking tan.
And finally, if you’re a philosophy amazing grace fan, don’t miss this amazing grace lavender 3 piece layering set for $59. It includes a 2-oz fragrance, 16-oz firming body emulsion, and 16-oz shampoo, bath & shower gel.
Be sure to check out the QVC Beauty iQ page to see all of the beauty deals they have going.
Also, first time QVC shoppers get $10 off a purchase of $25 or more with code SURPRISE, and second time shoppers get $10 off $25 or more with code HELLO10.

Nice post! I prefer pictures for your daily finds over text.
Thanks for asking!
Thanks for highlighting QVC for beauty products! I look there all the time for great deals! Have bought many of my Elemis products there (and Philosphy and Sunday Riley and IT Cosemtics, etc!!) Also, I do like photos with your Daily Finds. I usually completely ignore just text.
I ordered the set. Good timing. I’m about to need mascara. I’ve used Definicils for years, so I’m excited to try this mascara. I wear less makeup now. I guess it’s a leftover from the pandemic.
Thanks, Jo-Lynne!
I’ve been looking for an easy daily shadow, that stays in place and gentle, no tug formula, would this be the right choice?
Yes, definitely!
I’m going to have to look into this set! Sounds like a good plan, especially for summer when I tend to want less on my face. (Louisiana = HOT & HUMID) I love philosophy’s amazing Grace line, and I have wanted to try the new lavender scent. I prefer pictures over text, I think. 🙂
You look so pretty. If you look this good with minimal make-up, go for it. I am interested in the Tarte lip creme or gloss. I like its natural ingredients….well, the gloss is, I haven’t checked out the creme yet. I’ve never used a creme eye shadow before and wondering if it would be better for the dry, older eye lids I have now at age 60. I love the color you chose. I use a similar shade in powder shadow over a neutral. As for the Tarte mascara, I need to order again, as I just don’t get the same excitement about it you do, so think something was old about mine. It seemed to clump and dry out so soon. Do you think I had a problem one and should try again? I also use Fitglow brand and really like it…..don’t remember name of particular one I use, but its the fat, bright pink container one. I like natural ingredient make-up. I am really interested in the this kit. Have a great weekend with your parents.
Supposedly the creme shadows and blushes are better for aging skin. I still like my powder shadow, but this is easy for a quick single color look.
Hi. Quick question. Have you ever applied the self tanner on your face? Seen like the mitt would be awkward since it’s so big. It looks great on qvc but they never show anyone applying on face. Thanks!
No, I just use makeup on my face to match whatever color my body is, lol.
That really is the best mascara. I was wearing false eyelashes some and stopped because of this mascara. Last summer I started using the Laura Mercier Caviar Stick eyeshadows. They are so easy and stay on all day. These look to be similar and worth trying. So do lip plumpers really work?
I don’t know how much plumping they do, honestly, but I like the look and feel.
I started using Tarte cosmetics after seeing you post about it a couple times. I love their mascara, and eyeshadow palette,
so I’m excited to try this set. I’ve not used a creme shadow before, but I’m excited to try it. I wear the Tarte lipgloss on a daily basis, so I’m sure I’ll love the lip creme.
Enjoy your parents visit!
Let me know how you like it!
Aside from makeup, by the way you look great in all the photos. Do you mind sharing where you found the table lamps that you have in your family room? I’ve been looking at Wayfair and found a couple I like but the ones you have look perfectly balanced with your sofa and I love the pottery look and the colors in my room are very similar to yours. Thanks a bunch!
Sure, but unfortunately I can’t link them. I got them through my designer.
Thanks anyhoo, think I’ll go ahead and order the similar ones from Wayfair, they’re great to deal with!
Just started using the mascara, I love it!
I’m so glad!
Love your earrings! Love the look. Where did you purchase the earrings? They are simple and elegant. Thanks Indiana
