My Favorite Things 2025: From Everyday Essentials to Gift-Worthy Finds

Happy Monday, friends! I’m kicking off my holiday gift guides with one of my favorite traditions—my annual Favorite Things list! 🎁 You could say it’s my own spin on the classic Oprah’s Favorite Things—but with products I actually use and love all year long. Some are splurges, some are steals, and all of them are things I’d happily give (or receive!) again. It’s a mix of longtime favorites, new discoveries, and plenty of giftable gems worth adding to your list—or your cart.

I’m also doing something a little different with my holiday content this year!

Instead of posting all of my gift guides here on the blog, I’ll be rolling them out first over on Substack every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday throughout the season. Each one will feature a different theme and plenty of curated gift ideas from me and my team to make holiday shopping easier and more fun.

You can subscribe here to get them delivered straight to your inbox—or just check back on Substack to browse the latest guides.

These Are A Few of My Favorite Things

Everyday Essentials

These are the things I reach for day after day—practical favorites that make life easier.

S’well 17 oz Water Bottle // also wearing: Vuori Energy Top Long // Clean Elevation Leggings // Halo Modern Zip Hoodie // On Cloud 6

S’well 17 oz Water Bottles
Still my favorite after years of use! It keeps drinks cold for hours, never leaks, and has no annoying straws or flip lids to fuss with. Plus, it fits perfectly in my bag or car cupholder.

Echo Dot with Clock
I love having this on my bedside table—it’s compact, functional, and doubles as both a clock and speaker. Paul has it set up so I can tell Alexa to turn off the bedroom lights, set my morning alarm, play music, and even start the coffee maker before I get out of bed.

LUNA Nutz Over Chocolate Bars
Totally random, but I always have these on hand. They’re my go-to pre-workout snack and perfect for busy days or travel.

wearing: Tom Ford Square Sunglasses // PAIGE Syrie Top // Raffia Wrapped Flat Hoop Earrings

Tom Ford Sunglasses
This is the third year in a row these sunglasses made this list, but they’re still my most-reached-for pair—especially this time of year when I’m wearing lots of brown. A timeless investment piece that goes with everything. If you’re looking for a similar style for less, this DIFF pair has a really similar shape and style.

Wacoal Embrace Lace T-Shirt Bra
My go-to under t-shirts and everyday tops. It’s comfortable, supportive, and provides a smooth, flattering shape without adding bulk.

Lumify Eye Drops
A small but mighty staple! They instantly brighten my eyes and make me look more awake in the mornings.

Loopy Case in Blonde Tortoise // also wearing: AllSaints Ryder Jacket // Jenny Bird Large Aurelia Hoops // Perry Washed Rib Top // John Hardy Crossover Ring

Loopy Phone Case
Another longtime favorite. I love that it’s sleek, durable, and the loop makes it so easy to carry—especially when I’m juggling bags, coffee, or my camera. It also makes it much harder to drop—or for pickpockets to grab—when traveling.

Bonus: They gave me a code! Use JO-LYNNES10 for 10% off your purchase.

Beauty & Self-Care Favorites

A few tried-and-true products that I look forward to using every day.

Farmacy Green Clean Cleansing Balm
A new favorite that’s replaced (at least for now) my longtime go-to cleansing balm from ELEMIS! I’m amazed at how well it removes my makeup, and it smells so fresh. Plus, it’s more affordable, too.

Replenix Age Restore Nighttime Therapy
This has been part of my nighttime routine for ages, and I still love how soft and hydrated it leaves my skin. Can’t be without it, so I keep the 0.5 fl. oz. size in my travel toiletry bag.

Dyson Hair Dryer
Yes, it’s a splurge, but it’s one I use constantly. It cuts my drying time in half and leaves my hair smooth and shiny every time.

YSL Libre Eau de Parfum
My signature scent for years—feminine, elegant, and timeless. I never get tired of it. (I have the 1.6 oz size on my dresser and I keep the 0.33 oz size in my travel toiletry bag.

tarte Inspire Eye & Cheek Palette
My go-to eye and cheek palette for years! Sadly, it’s been discontinued, but you can still find it from reputable resellers on eBay—that’s where I get mine. The colors are neutral, blend beautifully, and work for almost any occasion.

L’Occitane Almond Shower Oil
I’ve tried others, but I always come back to this one. It smells amazing, feels luxurious, and leaves my skin so soft. It also doubles as a great shaving gel!

Chic Style Staples

Wardrobe pieces that stand the test of time—comfortable, polished, and easy to love.

wearing: LILI CLASPE Adva Cuff // Clare V Moyen Messenger // MOTHER Hustler Roller Sneak // Eden Button Front Sweater // Tom Ford sunnies // Sam Edelman Saige Booties

Clare V Moyen Messenger
My current favorite handbag—chic, timeless, and just the right size for everyday use.

MOTHER Denim
Pricey, yes, but nothing fits or flatters quite like them. They’re my forever-favorite jeans. Current go-tos are the Weekender, Dazzler, and Roller styles.

wearing: PAIGE Anessa // adidas Spezial // similar sweater // Barbour quilted jacket // Clare V Moyen Messenger // Tom Ford sunnies

PAIGE Anessa Jeans
Another longtime favorite. I love the wide-leg silhouette and flattering fit—it’s polished yet relaxed, and they work with everything from sneakers to heeled boots.

LILI CLASPE Adva Cuff Bracelet
A newer discovery I’m loving. This organic, sculptural cuff is bold yet simple—one piece that instantly finishes any look.

wearing: Jenny Bird Large Aurelia Hoops // Tom Ford Wallace Sunglasses // FRAME Twist Buckle Belt // Michael Stars Nara Top

Jenny Bird Jewelry
Everyday pieces that add just the right amount of shine—a perfect balance of quality and price point. Current favorites are the Florence Earrings, Large Aurelia Hoops (60% off!) and Ola Bangle.

SOMA Cool Nights Pajamas
These are all I wear to bed, all year long. Lightweight, silky, and so comfortable.

wearing: Jenni Kayne Flynn Cashmere V-Neck // MOTHER Dazzler // VEJA Esplar // London Fog Raincoat // YSL sunnies

Jenni Kayne Cashmere Sweaters
A splurge that’s absolutely worth it—mine still look brand new years later. My favorites are the Flynn Cashmere V-Neck and Cashmere Fisherman Sweater. (Certain colors are currently 20% off!)

Home & Lifestyle Finds

A few things that elevate my everyday life and make my home feel more special.

Diffuser for the Powder Bath
I always keep a diffuser in our powder room—it adds a subtle scent and feels like such a nice touch for guests. I often pick these up on my travels, but I always come back to NEST. They have so many nice scents and they look so pretty. (I get the Holiday version every year.)

Wedgwood Geo Dinnerware Set
A new addition this year! I love the modern pattern and how it mixes with my neutral table settings.

Hotel Lobby Candles
When I’m not picking up local candles on my travels, this is the one I order again and again. The scents are clean, elevated, and make any room feel cozy and inviting; my favorite is the Spa.

Disposable Guest Towels & Holder
Pretty, practical, and surprisingly affordable. I love how they add a polished finishing touch to the powder room—and make hosting feel effortless.

Travel & Tech Essentials

Tried-and-true items I never travel without—practical, functional, and built to last.

SPANX AirEssentials
I love this for travel—it’s so comfortable for overnight flights and perfect for lounging or working in the hotel lobby in the mornings. The fabric is buttery soft yet polished enough to look pulled together when you’re on the go. My favorites are the Wide Leg Pants and the Half Zip Sweatshirt.

Away Luggage
It’s all I travel with these days—durable, organized, and stylish. I have several of their suitcases now, and my favorites are the Bigger Carry-On Flex, the Featherlight Backpack, and the Insider Packing Cubes. You can read more in my Away Luggage Review.

CalPak Terra Hanging Toiletry Bag
My favorite toiletry bag—and I’ve tried many! It’s durable, hangs neatly with a collapsible hook, and has tons of smart compartments (including an exterior toothbrush holder) so everything stays upright, organized, and easy to find. It also sits neatly on the counter when there’s space, and I love how you can see everything at a glance when it’s opened up.

Portable Power Charger
I’ve mentioned this a million times, but it’s the one thing I refuse to travel without. I love that it’s self-charging and has built-in cables for iPhone, USB-C, and USB-A—it’s compact, reliable, and always in my bag.

MZOO Eye Mask
Perfect for flights or bright hotel rooms, the contoured cup design doesn’t put pressure right on your eyes (or mess up your makeup), and it also comes with a drawstring pouch that keeps it cleaned and contained in your carry-on bag.

Apple AirPods
An everyday essential for travel, workouts, or just tuning out noise while I work.

Whether you’re shopping for loved ones or just curating your own holiday wish list, I hope this list gives you a few ideas. These are the things that have truly earned their spot in my daily life—favorites that have stood the test of time (and a few new discoveries I’m excited to share!).

  1. About the Rowan Henley sweatshirt in Washedmaroon, did you end up getting the Small size? My local Evereve doesn’t carry that style so I need to order online, and I usually buy the same size as you. That’s such a pretty color and style.

    1. Hi, so I didn’t. I haven’t been back home to get to the mall, but I’m wearing the medium today and I think I”ll keep it. I expect it will shrink up some in the wash, and I don’t want it to be too short.

  2. We have so many favorites in common – Farmacy Green Clean, Paige Anessa and Mother Weekender to name a few! I might just have to forward this post to my family to look at the rest of your favorites, as they tell me I’m difficult to buy for 😆 xo Nipa
