Final Days of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale

Hi, friends! I’m back home from Italy and diving back into work and life, and of course I had to check in on the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale to see what’s still available. The sale ends Sunday, so there are still a few days left to shop before the prices go back up. (See all my #NSale coverage HERE!)

I loved the makeup and skincare selection in the #NSale this year. I purchased the La Mer Reset Regimen Skin Care Set for my trip to Italy, which worked out perfectly. All I had to add to that was a travel-sized eye makeup remover, and I had all the skincare I needed for my 10-day trip, plus there’s some left over for next time!

I’m also a huge fan of my slip Pure Silk pillowcase and scrunchies, and this set is a really good value. Plus, this is an amazing deal on this cult favorite blush, and Supergoop! fans will love this 3-piece sunscreen set.

Speaking of cult favorites, the Dyson hair dyer is in a league of its own, and this set includes all the attachments I use on the daily. It’s a $490 value for $429… still a splurge, but worth it if you have hair that needs special treatment or tends to be frizzy.

For a lower priced but still excellent hair dryer option, the T3 StyleMax is a good alternative, and my girls have the T3 straightener and curling iron. Both came with us to Italy, and they worked great with a European plug adapter, since they have auto-world voltage (100–240V).

I always replenish my favorite sunscreen and RevitaLash eyelash serum during this sale, and I love that they included the RevitaLash eyebrow conditioner along with the eyelash conditioner this year. My brows need all the help they can get, so I can’t wait to try it!

The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is also a great opportunity to stock up on basics, and most of my favorites are still well-stocked. These are my favorite cotton undies, and these are my favorites under jeans. This is the best strapless bra, and I really like this sports bra and this t-shirt bra.

If you like Natori, this underwire contour bra is always a fan favorite, and this one is great for those who prefer more of a full coverage bra.

I sleep in one of these every night, and they’re also nice for lounging and casual wear. And this is totally random, but I love giving these as gifts. Also, this is a great deal on my favorite running socks.

The men’s department is often overlooked during the #NSale, so they tend to have better inventory than the women’s.

Paul always goes in to shop the #NSale a few days after I do, and he finds some really good deals on up-to-date men’s styles from top brands, like this Vince Cotton Slub Jersey Polo and AG Jeans Wanderer Chino Shorts that he wore several times while we were in Italy.

This a great deal on his favorite t-shirts, and he also picked up this button-up shirt for work and church this fall.

While women’s styles tend to sell out early, there are always a lot of returns which result in restocks, so keep an eye on your favorites. I was surprised to find most of the boots I ordered still well stocked!

These Aquatalia boots are incredibly comfortable for heels, and they’re waterproof too. They run true to size; I have my usual 8.

I love the streamlined lug sole and stacked block heel on the Paul Green Selma Booties, and the way the tan contrasts with the toffee nubuck upper. These are such good quality boots, made in Austria, and they’re also true to size.

The Marc Fisher Ulani is the perfect dressy black bootie to level up all of my bootcut jeans and flares this fall for date nights and happy hour with friends.

And the Franco Sarto Anina Pointed Toe Boot has a subtle Western flair that keeps them a little more casual and fun. I like having both options in my fall/winter wardrobe.

Neutral shoe lovers will also love the Vince Cesta Square Toe Flats. They’re buttery soft, and they come in a Black and Moonlight leather, as well as the Dune suede that I have.

FIT TIP: I found these shoes to run true to size, but a lot of the reviewers seem to think they run big. You can see that they look a little roomy on my feet, but I walk fine in them. I didn’t think to try the half size down, but maybe I should have. If in doubt, order two sizes and return the one that to doesn’t work.

I can’t believe my favorite P448 sneakers are still well stocked! I love the glitter on the tongue and the gunmetal leather tab on the back; it’s the perfect way to bring these white leather sneakers into fall.

I find these sneakers very comfortable, and they take little to no breaking in. I wore a brand new pair traveling one day last spring, and I didn’t get have any issues with blisters or sore feet. These sneakers are true to size for P448; I have my usual 39.

Vince is showed up strong in this year’s #NSale, and most pieces are still in stock! Some of my favorites are this silk blend cowl neck blouse, this cozy short sleeve alpaca blend sweater, and these luxe cigarette pants. I also just added these wide leg modal pants to my shopping cart; I can’t wait to experiment more with this silhouette this fall.

This silk blend cowl neck blouse is so gorgeous, I actually just ordered another color. While I don’t usually buy duplicates, I feel like it’s one of those classic pieces I can have for many years, and it will be nice to have a neutral and a color in my closet.

I also just grabbed another one of the raglan sleeve v-neck sweaters, for the same reason. I love that gorgeous Tea Berry, but the Ecru is a classic neutral that I can have for years, and it’s so hard to find raglan sleeves.

Speaking of wardrobe staples I can keep for years, this woven silk blend blouse is exquisite, and I love the shorter length. I can’t wait to add a belt and a few more accessories to this classy look, and then I’ll top it off with a long wool coat.

A few other favorites from the women’s department that are still well stocked are my AllSaints croc embossed crossbody and the PAIGE Laurel Canyon High Waist Flare Jeans (both pictured above). I expect both to be workhorses in my fall/winter wardrobe.

I’d love to hear about what hidden gems you’re finding this week, and if any of my top picks worked for you!

  1. I bought the Steve Madden Braylen pointed toe bootie in the light sand and a pair of AG Farrah Fray hem bootcut jeans. Or should I say I kept them? After ordering 10 different pairs, these worked the best! I have a few more items coming. I also love the Open Edit Vnevk rib sweater! Got the pretty blue and ivory. One for me and one for my daughter! Got a couple of jeans for my husband and some trainers. It’s a dangerous sale Lol!

  2. I loved dresses you posted the other day from your trip! How does Tommy Bahama sleeveless compare to Elieen Fisher sleeveless short dress with quality? I may add the TB sleeveless blue dress in my Nordstrom cart as it looked fabulous on you!

  3. You look real sharp in the burgundy top and jeans outfit. Wide leg is my silhouette right now and fall. Even slim leg pants feel like skinny pants to me now. I now like a looser fit in the legs.

  4. We were in Italy too! I was afraid to use my dyson without a converter bc I didn’t want to fry it–so I didn’t use it at all. Next time I’ll just use it! And because it was so freaking hot I washed hair EVERY DAY! What a crazy time to be in Italy…

  5. I got the Vince Weekend sweater, the L’Occitane shower oil, a couple of Bliss throws, and Barefoot Dreams socks from the sale. I also ordered a white Caslon v-neck tee, and the black and gold slide sandals.
