This morning we spontaneously decided to go see a movie as a family today, but we had no idea what was showing or if there was any way to find something that we could all agree. on. Everyone with kids at a wide range of age can attest, it’s a challenge to find a movie...
I like to shop. I’m sure this is news to no one. I used to spend my days meandering aimlessly around the mall, but as I’ve gotten busier I do most of my shopping from the comfort of home. Online shopping has become so convenient, it’s hard to motivate myself to brave the mall anymore....
Yes, two recipes this week!!! I’m all about the appetizers lately, for some reason! This is another great game-day dip recipe that I discovered at Sandi’s Allergy Free Recipes. I altered it just a bit to suit our dairy-loving household, but it’s pretty much the same otherwise. If you love goat cheese and chili (raise your hand!)...
I’m one of those people who will get lost driving home on a route that I’ve taken 100 times, so the advent of the GPS was a groundbreaking day in my opinion. Sliced bread? It ain’t got nuttin’ on the geographical tracking device. Of course, the next thing I knew, I had a smartphone with...
Good morning Jo-Lynne. Thanks for hosting!
This week I am sharing my Dutch Meatball Soup and Simple shortbread.
I hope that you have a great week!
So excited about your shortbread! My grandmother was from Scotland and she made THE BEST shortbread — glutenFULL of course. 🙂 I can’t wait to try your GF version!
Hi Jo-Lynne! Thanks for hosting (and happy Monday!). This week I’ve shared a recipe for easy Asian style soup – in 15 minutes or less. Also, I’d like to invite everyone to stop by my site and enter to win a copy of the new Paleo cookbook, Primal Cuisine. It’s all GF and healthy and you don’t need to be on the Paleo diet to enjoy it 🙂
That sounds awesome!!
My brother just discovered he still has swiss chard growing – it’s one of our favorites around here, any which way you serve it! If only his heirloom tomatoes could survive this long…
Too funny! We found some still growing in our garden a few weeks ago. It looked good but turned out to be pretty tough. We still ate it tho!
I have never good gluten-free, but the picture of the salmon cakes may just change my mind! My menu plan this week is comfort foods: http://makingourlifematter.com/menu-planning-monday/ . It may not be healthy, but with the cold weather, it will sure to make things cozy.
With weather like this, comfort food is the way to go! 😉
Looks like it’s going to be a delicious week of gluten-free eating! Great meal plan 🙂 Thanks for hosting the link up, some nice recipes to check out here!
Your menu sounds simple and yummy! I have to change mine a little. My teenager just ate the chicken chow. Fortunately, it was only a small leftover. I think I have sausage in red sauce in the freezer I can substitute.
LOL. Kids!!!
We had chicken in a pot tonight, too! My husband did it, though, as I do not do the “pieces part” removal. I prefer working with chicken that’s already been cut-up. 🙂 We also had baked sweet potato and a salad.
Oh… last week I made the strawberry/rhubarb crisp with rhubarb I froze from my brother’s garden. That is the best stuff! My 15 yr old wanted me to thank “the blog lady” for the recipe. 🙂 She can’t get enough of it!
Oh that is so cute!!! Love it.
Hi Jo-Lynneve
Today I am sharing a gluten free shepherd’s pie recipe:) It has never failed me any time I have company over or I have to make something fast for a hungry husband who doesn’t tolerate gluten!

Yum! I love Shepherd’s Pie. Can’t wait to compare recipes. 🙂
