Top Ten Products Of 2021

Greetings, friends! I’ve rounded up the most popular products from my blog and social media channels this year. Yes, it’s that time again! Let the year end recaps begin!

Top Ten Products from 2021

These are listed in typical Top Ten countdown order, with the most popular item at the end.

#10. Vince Easy Fit Crewneck Wool & Cashmere Sweater // So happy to see this made the list. Such a good wardrobe basic, and it’s still available and on sale!

#9. Freya Idol Underwire Balconette Bra // This is pretty much the only bra I wear. It looks good under everything, as long as the straps don’t show. It also has really good support for those of us with more to, ahem, support.

#8. Caslon Knit Hoodie // This sold out, unfortunately. Caslon does the best elevated casual tops.

#7. Mother The Insider High Waist Crop Step Fray Hem Jeans // You know these make MY top ten list, so I’m glad they made yours too! Such good denim, and still fully stocked.

#6. Free People Camo Clare Tee // This is definitely one of my most worn summer tees, and it’s still available and on sale. I love the quality of the fabric, the flattering cut of the sleeves, and the camo print is right on trend. It works into my neutral wardrobe but adds a nice pop of pattern.

#5. Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes 4-In-1 Mascara // My mascara discovery that you all loved too! This replaced the Lancome mascara I’ve been using for the past 25 years. Yes, it’s that good.

#4. Treasure & Bond Twist Detail T-Shirt // Another easy, breezy summer tee. Still in stock, and it comes in other colors too. This tee is sooo soft. Definitely one I’m keeping for next year.

#3. Caslon Split Neck Organic Cotton Blend Thermal Knit Top // Another good Caslon top, this one from the #NSale, and unfortulately, it wasn’t very well stocked. I love the thermal texture and the split neck.

#2. Dolce Vita Izabel Stud Slide Sandal // My favorite summer sandals, I can’t wait to break these out again next spring! They’re the perfect mix of classy and edgy.

And first place goes to . . . *drum roll please* 🥁

#1. Caslon Open Front Cardigan // Yep, more Caslon and another #NSale purchase. There are still some colors and sizes left of this classic cardigan, if you want one. It’s true to size, or you could size down for a closer fit.

And that, as they say, is a wrap!!! I plan to take the next two days off from posting so I can focus on celebrating Christmas with my family. I’ll be back bright and early on the 26th with all the best post-holiday sales.

  1. Those are all great looks! Thanks for the summary. Love the sandals: great combo of neutral yet edgy and fashion forward. Wishing you and your family a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Thank you for all of your hard work over the year to help distract us from the doom & gloom bad news (I agree with the comment from yesterday: stop watching main stream media; that stuff will ruin your mental health!) and help me fight the frump in my 40s! I love your Try on Sessions and What I Wore posts especially; they help me understand what looks good and why. You are my favorite blogger/ influencer/ fashion advisor! Your posts are a pleasure to read.

  2. Merry Christmas Jo Lynne and everyone else. Love this blog and the community in it. I appreciate the details you give for items, your thought process for picking items, how things go together and why, your sharing of taking more then one attempt to get an outfit put together. All those things have helped me!

  3. I love your edgy, yet classic style. I have many of the items on your list, but my favorite has to be the Caslon hoodies. I bought them in 3 colors! I purchased the Caslon cardigan but ended up returning it because I am only 5’1” and it was just too long on me. I have the Vince sweater. You turned me onto Vince cashmere and I don’t want to count how many I have purchased since then! I love these lists, your try-ons and what you really wore the best. I am looking forward to the next year, seeing all you come up with!

  4. Doesn’t surprise me that the studded slide sandal is in the top. I love mine and will be wearing them again this Spring/Summer. Thanks for such a great blog over this last year and can’t wait to continue reading in 2022. Merry Christmas to you and your family.

    1. Yes, definitely one of my favorite purchases from 2021. Which reminds me, I usually do a best and worst purchases post. I need to put that on my editorial calendar. Merry Christmas!

  5. I’ve been looking for new bras to replace my Natori’s that I just don’t love anymore. Do you find that the Freya run similar size wise? Ordering on Amazon and wondering if I should go with my regular size. Thanks!

  6. I bought the Caslon hoodie last spring upon your recommendation and it is one of my favorites! I would definitely buy again. Merry Christmas!!

  7. I have the Caslon hoodie and love it. I also have a couple Mother Insider step hem jeans but not the specific ones you highlight. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Enjoy the time with your family! 🙂

  8. I just started wearing #9 yesterday…it’s a great bra and the first I’ve really liked since my daughter was born.

  9. I have the Treasure & Bond grey tee which I love and just ordered the Free People camo tee today, Zappos has it for about $21. Really want to try the Freya bra, sounds like it would make a difference for me. Thank you for sharing such nice hand picked items, it really helps me as I had rather have a few nice quality pieces that really work. Enjoy your holiday with your family!

      1. Received the Free People camo tee from Zappos today, got the small and it fits perfect. I love the neckline and it’s not clingy and the material will especially work for warmer weather. Deciding on the bra is next! Thanks so much for your suggestions as always!.

  10. Thanks for this post! And all your posts this year! I’m in desperate need for new bras and I’m going to try these. Merry Christmas to you and your family! Ours will be a quiet one again this year. But still meaningful, if we remember the reason for the season. Hoping for a very different 2022!

  11. Merry Christmas to you and your family! Enjoy your time off with your loved ones.

Your blog is just such a bright spot on the Internet, and you’ve been helping me tremendously in my journey to take better care of myself – something I’ve always been struggling with due to my upbringing. Now that I’m out of the pregnancy/baby/nursing phase of life and have a good reason to renew my wardrobe, I’m determined to make changes so I can set a good example for our daughters and our son. So, thank you. Your work here is a true gift to me.

  12. Thank you Jo-Lynne for your sweet and honest post every day! I look forward to reading your post and learning from you each day. I follow several bloggers and you are my favorite! You are not my favorite for only the clothes you share, you are my favorite because of you and your wonderful personality!!!❤️
Have a fabulous Christmas with your family and a great Year next year!
