Holiday Gift Ideas for Foodies
As you probably know, I fancy myself a bit of a foodie so of course I had to include a Holiday Gift Guide for the Foodie in my collection!
Food gifts are some of my favorites to give and to receive. You can make your own, of course, but I often buy them. For instance, there’s a cupcake shop in town that I love to support. Last year for Christmas, I bought a bunch of cupcakes individually packaged and tied a ribbon on them with a little gift tag (that’s about as crafty as I get) and gave them out to the teachers at my children’s schools.
Fortunately there are some lovely online shops with great gifts for the food lovers in your life. Whether they like it savory or sweet, there’s something here for just about everyone.
Holiday Gift Ideas for the Foodie
Tate’s Holiday Gift Baskets: Tate’s Bake Shop has a ton of Holiday gift baskets to choose from that include all manner of cookies, candy and edible baked goods. They also have a nice assortment of gluten-free gift baskets to choose from. They sent me their Gluten-Free Holiday Sampler basket to try out for myself. All I can say is, oh my . . .
The Gluten-Free Holiday Sampler Basket includes 1 bag of zesty GF Ginger Zinger Cookies (with real ginger pieces!), 1 bag of GF Double Chocolate Chip Cookies (a chocolate lover’s dream), 1 bag of classic GF Chocolate Chip Cookies, 2 fudgy GF Brownies, and 1 tasty GF Blondie. Each treat is produced in their dedicated gluten free facility and is certified by the Celiac Sprue Association.
Is one of your child’s teachers gluten-free? Are you attending a holiday party and need a hostess gift? Got a friend who misses holiday cookies? Now you have the perfect gift! And you don’t even have to turn on the oven.

Pineland Farms Blue Ribbon Cheese Gift Baskets: As you may know, my mom’s family hails from the great state of Maine. So when the folks from Pineland Farms reached out to me about featuring their blue ribbon cheese gift baskets, I was eager to give them a try. We’ve enjoyed the cheeses from this basket for weeks. They are so creamy and delicious, and I love the addition of the cheese knife and cutting board to make a really cute gift giving item.
Located in the rolling hills of New Gloucester, Maine, PINELAND FARMS is a 5,000-acre working farm producing hand crafted award winning cheeses with fresh milk from their free-grazing Holstein cows. The Blue Ribbon Gift basket is the perfect gift for the cheese lover in your life, including an assortment of cheddar, jack and swiss cheeses along with a unique array of crackers and pretzels.
Estate Olive Oils: These unique gourmet oils will delight the most discerning foodie on your gift giving list. Produced at Rutherford-based Round Pond Estate, these estate olive oils are crafted from a meticulous selection of hand-harvested olives using their signature pressing methods. They come in a lovely box, perfect for gift giving. Wouldn’t this make a unique and thoughtful hostess gift??
Specialty Meats Gift Tray: iGourmet has a variety of gift baskets for the foodies in your life, but how unique would it be to bring a tray of specialty meats as a hostess gift or to your child’s favorite teacher??
DiBruno gourmet foods – Philadelphia: Di Bruno Brothers is a Philly tradition, but the good news is, they also sell their favorite gourmet foods online! Whether you’re looking for gourmet coffee, cookies, oil and vinegar, olives, honey, pasta and pasta sauce, barbecue sauce, chocolates and sweets, a Beer Lover’s Cheese Set, or practically any other specialty food item, their online grocery store has you covered. There are tons of fabulous gift ideas for foodies here.
