Hostess & White Elephant Gifts Under $50

Hi friends! Happy Thanksgiving Eve! I’m sure most of you are busy prepping for the holiday, but if you have a time to sit and catch your breath, I’m  continuing my holiday gift guide series, and today’s post is a two-for-one.

one // two // three // four // five // six // seven // eight // nine // ten // eleven // twelve // thirteen // fourteen // fifteen

Every year, my family looks forward to our Yankee Swap… a.k.a Dirty Santa or White Elephant Gift Exchange.

There’s always a wide array of gifts from funny to practical, and everyone has a great time opening (and, or course, stealing) gifts! In case you’re attending or hosting a White Elephant Gift Exchange this year, I rounded up a bunch of gift ideas under $50.

While I was putting together my White Elephant gift guide, I realized a lot of these items would also make great hostess gifts. There’s nothing worse than getting caught at the last minute without a hostess gift, am I right?

So I decided to combine them all into one comprehensive list with gift ideas under $50.

White Elephant & Hostess Gift Ideas Under $50

#1. NEST Holiday Candle // You can never go wrong with a candle by NEST, and this Blue Cypress and Snow scent sounds amazing.

#2. Washable Drink Markers // If you’ve ever attended a dinner party or gathering at a friend’s home, you know the struggle of keeping up with your drink! This is a great tool for every hostess to have on hand.

#3. Hot Chocolate Collection Gift Set // This fun hot chocolate set includes 9 uniquely flavored cocoa mixes (Chocolate Cherry, Snickerdoodle, Gingerbread Cookie, Caramel, Toasted Marshmallow and more) in convenient gift packaging.

#4. The Cheese Board Deck // This deck of cards will help your hostess elevate her charcuterie skills so she can assemble a professional looking spread on game days, holidays, birthday parties, and more! I may have just added this to my own cart.

#5. Wooden Cutting Board // Pair the cheese board styling cards with a new wood cutting board, so they can practice and execute their new cheese board skills.

#6. The Chocolate Chip Cookie Book // This cookbook by Katie Jacobs has 100 different recipes of all different skill levels to help the baker in your life up their dessert game.

#7. La Chatelaine Hand Creams // Hand creams are a great gift for woman who has everything or for someone you don’t know very well. The scents in this set are luxurious, and tin is so pretty that you simply need to add a bow.

#8. Christmas Wine Bags // I love to gift a good bottle of wine when I’m a dinner guest, and it looks so much merrier in a festive bag. I also like these gold foil handled bags.

#9. White Elephant Candle // Cheesy? Maybe, but I think this White Elephant candle is such a fun idea. You can also purchase the candle with a different saying, like Book Club, Friendsgiving, and so many more.

#10. Crab Spoon Rest // If you prefer bringing quirky gifts, you’ll love this fun, heat resistant crab. He can serve as a both a spoon holder or a steam release, and there’s also a dog version.

#11. Modern Coaster Set // Everyone needs coasters, and this set has a modern, minimalistic design, and it comes in a sleek acrylic holder.

#12. Vegetable Chopper // This vegetable chopper continues to be one of Amazon’s best selling kitchen tools, making it a great hostess or White Elephant gift choice. The interchangeable blades make chopping, mincing, slicing, and dicing ingredients for foods like salsa or salads an absolute breeze.

#13. Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Day Holiday Hand Soap Bundle // Every hostess needs a stockpile of good hand soaps to keep her powder room stocked, and these 3 holiday scents (Peppermint, Iowa Pine, and Orange Clove) are enriched with essential oils, aloe vera, and olive oil.

#14. Savannah Bee Company Honey //I love the idea of gifting this raw honey crafted from the nectar of magnolias, spiderwort, and other flowers found in its home state of Georgia.

#15. Yeti Tumbler // They can take their favorite drink to go and keep it cold for hours with this YETI tumbler. You also could fill it with candies or a gift card.
