Happy Saturday, friends!!! I thought I’d post an Instagram Roundup today since it’s been almost a month since the last one, and so much of what I’ve been wearing lately is on sale this weekend.
This is an outfit I wore a few weeks ago on a Saturday to go to the mall with my mom and the girls. I changed into wedge booties before we went down to visit one of the colleges my son is considering for next year. My podiatrist once told me once to change my shoes often and vary my heel heights when I’m doing a lot of walking, so I try to heed that advice. I love and adore these mules, and you will see them quite a bit in this post! Bonus, they’re 25% off with code BLACK25.
The other wardrobe item you’ll see a lot in this post is this front zip leather moto jacket, which is now marked down even further for a total savings of 43%. A genuine leather jacket for $159 that fits this well is hard to come by, so if this is something you’ve had on your wish list, I definitely recommend taking the plunge! I wore the outfit below to a Hooters concert a few weeks ago. (The Hooters are an 80s rock band; they are in no way connected to a certain restaurant chain, ahem.)
Another example of how I’ve worn my leather jacket . . . over a striped v-neck tee with olive green skinny jeans and black booties.
This was one of my favorite shots from our family photo shoot a few weeks ago. It’s not the one we’re using on the front of our Christmas cards… I will share that with you when they come in! I ordered them yesterday, as a matter of fact! Minted is having a 20% off sale that was too good to pass up. The code is BF2017.

R’s Outfit: sweater 40% off // jeans $12.99 // boots 27% off
This is one of my typical throw-on-and-go outfits. I wore this to the mall one day.
There’s that leather jacket again!!! I love how the leopard scarf pops on the black jacket and black tee. The slouch booties tie in the beige from the scarf.
leather jacket // AG legging ankle jeans 20% off (similar for less) // BP. leopard print scarf // WHBM layering tee // Sole Society Belen booties (similar here) // Rebecca Minkoff Mini Perry satchel // Lucky Brand two-tone drop earrings // nails: CND Crimson Sash
Another wardrobe piece I’ve had on repeat is this green mockneck sweater from Madewell, and it’s 25% off this weekend!
mockneck sweater (hthr cactus) 25% off // Paige Verdugo Crop Skinny Jeans 15% off (similar for less) // similar boots here and here // Kendra Scott necklace 20% off // earrings // Alex and Ani bangles // sunnies c/o Maui Jim
I wore this out to dinner one night with my husband and another couple. I really like the off-the-shoulder sweater trend for a fun winter date night look.
Loving this turtleneck sweater dress for a casual work wear look or for Sunday church.
Here’s that green sweater again! This time I paired it with black jeans and my black mules.
Another great sweater that’s on sale right now is this wool/cashmere blend turtleneck from Ann Taylor. It also comes in teal, mustard, grey, and black, and it’s 50% off with code GOPINK.
I think this striped funnel neck sweater may be my favorite sweater purchase this season. It is so so soft, but in a good quality sort of way, not that stretchy kind of soft like the cheaper sweaters. I like the true shoulder seams, the funnel neck, the ribbed cuffs and hem, and it has a nice fit that isn’t too bulky but not clingy either.
Alas, it sold out super fast. In fact, I watched it till my size came back in stock and grabbed the last one. I usually don’t even bother buying things I can’t link to on the blog, but i couldn’t resist this one. It’s from J.Crew, and if I see it or something like it pop up, I’ll let you know.
My favorite leopard pumps are on sale! Get 20% off at Shopbop with code MORE17.
And yes, the green sweater yet again.
This was a casual day spent working from home. These are my all-time favorite jeans, and they’re on sale this weekend at Shopbop with code MORE17. This sweater is 50% off but it’s almost sold out.
My camel reefer coat is on sale this weekend! I love this classic look.
Another day at home, another pullover and jeans… I like the details on this ivory sweater a lot. It also comes in a really pretty hthr rust color that I tried to order TWICE, and the ivory came both times, so I decided the ivory was meant to be. Ha!
I was planning to wear this outfit for Thanksgiving, but I ended up wearing the v-neck sweater above because I was too warm in the mockneck. I love this color combination for fall.
I wore this all black outfit to church a couple weeks ago. It’s kind of an edgy look for church, but I think the quality of the turtleneck and the jacket make it classy enough to work for just about any venue. This cashmere turtleneck comes in a ton of colors and it’s marked way down this weekend.
I can’t remember where I wore this… I was going somewhere! I love the combination of this dolman sleeve sweater with the black skinny jeans and mules. The sweater is only $39, and it’s really soft and stretchy.
I love this burgundy field jacket for a nice change from olive, but it also comes in olive, navy, black, and camo.
Old Navy Twill Field JacketPlush Rib-Knit Tee 50% off // Hudson Nico skinnies 50% off (similar for less at Old Navy) // Kork-Ease Velma Bootie // Rebecca Minkoff Mini Perry Satchel // faux pearl earrings
There’s those mules again…
I wore this one day last week to go to the mall and run some errands. I ended up putting my leather jacket on top because it was chilly. Unfortunately this sweater sold out during the Nordstrom Anniversary sale so I can’t link to it, but maybe this combination of silvery grey, blue jeans, and burgundy flats will inspire you to shop your closet for something similar. I also linked up a couple similar styles below.
grey turtleneck (sold out; similar here, here and here) // AG raw hem legging ankle jeans 20% off with MORE17 (similar for less) // Tory Burch travel flats – these qualify for 30% off if you buy something else to make your total purchase at least $300 // bracelet // sunnies c/o Maui Jim // earrings
This Marc New York Paloma Coat is still in stock and such a good deal at $79 + 20% off with code GIFT20. Unfortunately sizes are dwindling. (It’s also at Bloomingdales and Amazon, but not for such a good price.)
I wore this the day before Thanksgiving — to be honest, I wasn’t doing much that was worth dressing up for, but I just felt like wearing this sweater. It’s another Nordstrom $39 special — not on sale, but a good price anyway.
I posted this to say Happy Thanksgiving. I’m not sure why my arm is flung back like that, LOL, but I love my surroundings and how happy and carefree it feels.
My Sorel boots are 15% off at Bloomingdale’s.
And finally, this is what I wore to our family party yesterday. It wasn’t really Thanksgiving, in that we didn’t have a traditional dinner or anything, but it was our official family get together for the weekend. Per my usual, I wore jeans and a cute sweater and pumps. This double-v tie back sweater is easy to dress up or down and the tie detail on the back makes it a little more special than a typical pullover. Pretty much everything I’m wearing here is on sale this weekend — including my necklace (30%) and my crossbody (50%).
teal sweater 50% off // similar jeans 25% off // L.K. Bennett pumps c/o (similar here and here) // Rebecca Minkoff Love Crossbody (total savings of 50% off — use code BLACK25 for an additional 25% off sale price) // Love Always monogram necklace: gold dipped, 3XLarge, 16″ chain (30% off with code SPARKLE) // various Kate Spade bangles // sunnies c/o Maui Jim
And that’s a wrap! I hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend. We’re headed downtown Philly to a play this afternoon, so it’s going to be another busy but fun day for us. Have a good one!
