Happy hump day, friends! Every other week on Wednesdays, I share what I’ve been wearing, and today’s the day!
Our weather continues to be fickle with some warm and cool days, so again, it’s a bit of a mix. And because we’ve been under a stay-at-home order for the past two weeks, all of these looks are verrrry casual. #pandemicproblems
For size reference, I’m 5’5″ and 135-ish, and I typically wear a small in tops, 28 in jeans, a 6 or 8 in dresses, and a size 8 shoe. I will give sizing notes, but if you have any questions, feel free to ask in the comments.
Okay, let’s get started!
MY DAILY LOOKS: What I Wore Lately
Clearly this first look is from one of our nicer days, thus the short sleeves. I love this top, but it sold out fast.
These Tory Burch sneakers are very comfortable and didn’t require any breaking in. They’re spendy at full price, but I snagged them on sale a while back.
I feel like they’re a little more polished than my other sneakers — a nice choice for ladies with a more elegant personal style, who want a fashion sneaker that doesn’t feel try-hard. They run big; you may want to size down, although I kept the size 8.
This was clearly more of a lazy day, although I did put on makeup, so there’s that. I’ve been investing in some higher quality activewear lately, and I’m enjoying the variety. I still feel put-together, but it’s nice to be able to go for a walk at a moment’s notice.
I like how these pants have the waist of a legging and the leg of a jogger, and the material is soft and cool and comfortable. They’re pricey, but worth it. I’m wearing the 6, for reference.
This cozy Gibson fleece top has a flattering v-neck and a fun twist-front detail, and the 3/4 sleeves are really nice for this in-between season.
My leopard slip-on sneakers are 25% off, as are my AG jeans. The jeans are TTS, but size down in the sneakers. I ended up with a 7.5.
I snipped about an inch off these jeans for a little more of an ankle-length. Tomorrow I’m posting all about how I cut my jeans, so stay tuned for that!
After someone in my Facebook Group gave me the idea, I tried pairing this hoodie with my olive green cargo joggers. I kind of like it!
The joggers were on sale last week, but not at the moment. These run small; I recommend sizing down one if ordering.
The hoodie, on the other hand, is 28% off, and then you can take an extra 50% off with code SALEONSALE. Size up in this one; I have the medium.
This burnout tee sold out quickly, but I’ll link it in case they get restocks. It runs a big large; I’m wearing the XS because the S was sold out when I ordered, and it fits fine.
I’ve been wearing these P448 sneakers a ton b/c they’re so comfortable. For a less expensive option, these Vintage Havanas are pretty cute, and this Amazon pair is even less. I also found two pairs of P448 sneakers for 25% off at Nordstrom — here and here.
I’m not sure why I showered and washed my hair and put on makeup, and THEN decided to go for a walk, but that’s what I did. I ended up wearing this outfit for the rest of the day.
This must have been the day Paul went with me because I actually got a picture outside too.
This was a day I had to take my daughter to the ENT, so I took the opportunity to wear real clothes!
My denim jacket is still 40% off, and I really like this Everlane scoop neck tee for layering.
These black cargo skinny ankle pants are from last year and no longer available, and they’re a little large on me now that I’ve lost weight, but I was happy they still fit well enough to wear them. They were snug last year.
Clearly, this was a grace day…
These leggings are the softest. Of all my leggings, these are probably my favorites, at least for comfort.
This was the day we drove out to Lancaster County to meet Ozzy, our mini goldendoodle puppy-to-be. If everything works out as planned, we will bring him home on Monday.
I threw on this cardigan, but I didn’t really need it.
It was one of our prettiest days of the past two weeks — a great day for a drive. I even got a picture outside to document the occasion.
I wore this sweatshirt again this time with jeans and my P448 sneakers.
This next look is from Easter Sunday; we just kept it casual. This ringer tee is amazingly soft and so so comfy. I love the colors too.
This was just another day at home… my new Athleta order finally came, and I love this mint colored hoodie. It’s very soft and lightweight — perfect for springtime. It’s TTS; I have the small, but I might be more comfortable in a medium.
The sleeves are plenty long, and it fits fine in the shoulders, but it’s a little snug through the midsection, and it’s designed to be on the shorter side. So a medium might be more comfortable. I’ve already worn it, though, so I’m keeping the small.
And this was yesterday… I finally got a chance to apply the hair color I ordered from my Concihairge appointment.
They do a Zoom meeting with you to discuss your haircare needs and to see your color. Then they recommend a treatment, and you can order it directly from them. You can even make a followup Zoom appointment to have them guide you through the application, but I didn’t bother with that. I think it turned out pretty good! If you’re interested, you can click my link above.
(I don’t get any kickback for recommending them… I just wanted to share because I’m sure a lot of you are wanting help with your gray roots too!)
Also, this tee is super soft and has a great drape. My red is sold out, but it’s fully stocked in the black.
And my favorite grey jeans are 40% off! They’re TTS; I have the 28. I don’t know why they won’t link directly to the product page, but if you plug the word Burton into the search bar, they will come up — they’re the Le High Skinny style.
And that’s a wrap! I’ve been trying to be better about fixing myself up, even if it’s just makeup and cute joggers. It definitely goes a long way towards keeping my spirits up during these long days at home.
