Stripes are having a moment right now and I’m here for it! I especially love a stripe sweater for fall.
I was walking through Nordstrom one day last week, not really planning to do any shopping, when I spotted this Rails Harris Stripe Polo Sweater on my way out the door. I grabbed it, marched right over to the checkout counter ,and bought it without even trying it on! I just knew it was going to make a great addition to my fall/winter wardrobe.

I love the navy and camel color palette, the polo style collar, the luxe knit fabrication, and the relaxed fit.
The fabric is 47% merino wool, 38% viscose, 10% nylon, 5% cashmere; so it’s nice and warm, without being bulky.
I threw it on with the relaxed flare jeans in a medium wash and brown boots, for a casual everyday fall look that’s perfect for running errands or casual get togethers with friends.
I added a brown leather bucket bag and small silver hoop earrings for accessories. I feel like it’s best to keep it simple with an outfit like this.
The finishing touch was these brown tortoiseshell sunglasses. I grabbed these when they were on sale a few weeks ago, and I love the square shape and the brown tortoiseshell frames.

Sweaters in the stores are really confusing me. It’s like anything goes. They seem to be getting longer and wider though. I’m shorter than you and it doesn’t work. Sweater cute on you.
I love the sweater you’re wearing, but it’s definitely too pricey for me after having gone on such a spree to start this season. I’m going to be “shopping my closet” for the foreseeable future. That said, I did get the Gap CashSoft v-neck sweater in stripe which I think would also totally work in an outfit like this. Have a great day!
