New Eye Makeup Routine + June Beauty Finds

QVC disclosure

I’ve been doing my eye makeup the same way for quite a while, and I was itching for a change, so I ordered this MAC Cosmetics 5-Pc Everyday Favorites Collection from QVC.

It took me a few tries, but I finally found the magic combination, and I’ve been using it every day since.

First, look how pretty these colors are. I also love the compact size of this palette, it’s great for travel and for those who prefer a minimal makeup collection.

It has an array of textures ranging from matte to lustre to frost to create a variety of looks for day or night; and they’re all highly saturated, soft, and smooth for easy, buildable application.

The Extended Play Gigablack Lash Mascara and Technakohl Eyeliner in Graphblack amplify the rest of the eyes for a gorgeous look that lasts all day.

I did an Instagram Story showing how I apply all of these products for the perfect day to night eye makeup look for summer, and it’s saved to the MAC Eye Makeup highlight if you want to check it out.

I also love the Cremesheen Lipstick included in this set. It’s called Creme in Your Coffee, and it’s a really nice deep mauve.

It’s rare that I purchase a set like this and actually like every single item inside, but this one is a slam dunk. It’s also an amazing price. It would retail for $111 if you purchased everything separately, but it comes as a set for just $45.15 for a limited time.

As if that’s not enough, I also discovered a new bronzer I’m loving right now. It’s the tarte Shape Tape Glow Bronzer with Brush, and it goes on very soft and subtle, but it’s buildable and blends in really well.

I’ve been out by the pool quite a bit, so my skin is getting tan, but I try not to tan my face, so I like the bronzer for adding more color to match my skin. You can watch the video on the QVC website to see more about how to apply it.

QVC also has a really good deal on skincare sets right now. I love the concept of this ELEMIS Dynamic Resurfacing Facial Wash & Pads Home & Away Set.

This set gives you both full sized (at home) and travel sized (and away) Dynamic Resurfacing Facial Wash and Dynamic Resurfacing Facial Pads for $95. (Full retail price is $144.)

The Dynamic Resurfacing Facial Wash is gentle and mild, but it does a great job cleansing the skin and removing makeup, dirt, and other impurities.

And I’m a longtime fan of these Dynamic Resurfacing Pads for gentle daily exfoliation. The pads have a slight texture, and they’re saturated in a solution containing lactic acid and a Probiotic Ferment Complex.

The combination smooths and brightens the skin, and it’s gentle enough to use twice a day.

I also tried something new this month. This Sunday Riley CEO Afterglow Vitamin C Cream with Glow Oil, Serum and Bag is a $100 value for $65.

I’ve only used the C.E.O. Afterglow Brightening Vitamin C Cream so far, but I really like how it feels on. It contains glycerin, allantoin, and hyaluronic acid to help hydrate skin, plus it visibly brightens the look of dull skin.

If this is your first time shopping at QVC, you can take $15 off your first purchase of $35 or more with code OFFER. If it’s your second purchase, you can get $10 off $25 or more with code HELLO10.

  1. Do you have a go to make up remover. No matter what I try or how good of a job I think I have done, I still wake up with a slight under eye of black. And I dont use waterproof mascara.

  2. Do you have to have instagram to look at the MAC highlight video? I don’t. I’d like to see how you applied the bronzer. I’ve never found one that looked natural. Interested in this one. The colors in the MAC pallette are really pretty.

  3. Would you be able to show us how you used the Mac eyeshadow? You did that with the Tarte Bloom and I found it very helpful. Sorry I don’t have Instagram. Thanks Jo-Lynne
