There may be six inches of snow still on the ground, but that won’t stop me from dreaming of spring! Nordstrom just dropped a batch of fresh new arrivals, and I rounded up the pieces that caught my eye. It’s all about lighter layers, updated basics, and easy pieces that feel right for the season ahead.
I love the low-profile design of these Frankie4 sneakers with their retro vibes and gum sole, and the leopard tab on the back adds just the right amount of personality. The triple-layer support and cushioning are great if you need to baby your feet. This square hinged bangle is an easy statement piece on its own, or you can layer it for extra interest.
Coach is having a bit of a revival right now, and I love the minimal charm of this slouchy shoulder bag. It’s relaxed, modern, and the kind of everyday bag that works with just about everything.
This Treasure & Bond belt has a subtle Western vibe that’s really fun, and I’m curious to try these beige barrel leg jeans. I love this denim color for late winter into spring. And how cute is this zip-front denim jacket? Such a great, modern update to the classic trucker style.

I’ve been looking for just the right pair of olive wide leg pants and love the Wit & Wisdom pair you’ve shown. Do they run true to size?
I don’t know, I haven’t tried them. But I find Wit & Wisdom tends to run big.

I need a new pair of sneakers for spring and summer. What style do you recommend or see will be trending for spring and summer? Are white leather sneakers still in style or should I look for a low profile suede pair? I just don’t know if you would wear suede in summer or not? Thank you for your help and recommendations.
Planning a trip to Europe this summer so whatever I get needs to be good for lots of walking.
Suede is perfectly fine for summer, although preferably in lighter or brighter colors. That said, I wouldn’t recommend it for travel. White leather sneakers are not as fashion forward at the moment, but they have their place. I’ll be posting about spring footwear trends next week and I’ll be sure to hit on sneakers. 🙂
I ordered and just received the red raunched dress! It’s beautiful. Fits perfectly. What type of shoes would work for later this month for a bridal shower. It’s still cold here but I think I’d like to wear it.

Hi Teresa, I have searched my email and I do not see any from you, other than blog comments. I also checked spam so I’m not sure what happened there. I try to reply to all emails and blog comments within 24 hours, but sometimes they do get accidentally overlooked.
We have been having some caching issues with the site, causing some comments to not be visible immediately, even though they are actually there and I can see them on my end. I have spent countless hours and fees to my developer this week, trying to fix the issue. I believe it has been fixed now.
I do not have sizing info on the belt because I have not tried it. This is a roundup of items I like and have my eye on. In my experience, Treasure & Bond belts run true to size. I would order the medium, if I was to order that one. I hope that helps.
